From the minute you step up to the building, which is nestled in quintessential downtown Wallingford amongst all the other amazing Victorian building, you feel welcomed and cared for. The front end staff is amazing and genuinely caring, handling and answering any insurance questions and/or scheduling issues. And Dr. Dow, well, what can I say, he was very comforting. There are amongst us, some who don’t necessarily do well with dentists. I am one of them. But, he was calm and took the time to explain what was going to happen and what I would be feeling during the procedure. He was polite to his assistant, who was also patient with me and my nervousness. He made sure I was pain free and comfortable throughout the whole procedure. Thank you, Dr. Dow and staff for all you do.

I am so happy that I have finally found an excellent Dentist! I saw Dr Dow last week for the first time and I am very pleased. I was a nervous wreck to come into the dentist because the last place I went to, Dental Group of Meriden-Wallingford screwed me over and kept telling me I had cavities that I actually didn’t have. My teeth feel extremely clean and the hygienist, Chasity did a wonderful job at calming me down. I recommend Dr Dow!! Thank you

Dr Dow himself is a very sweet man and it's unfortunate that he has such a horrible office that works for him. I got a call from a collections agency saying to call dr dows office... I did and dr Dows front office told me that my account was closed saying that they sent me letters TO MY SOON TO BE exs house in Phoenix Arizona because I gave them that address for insurance purposes since he was the policy holder. So when they were asking me about my insurance they asked me the address I gave it to them and they never even thought to ask if I had the same address... when I called tbem the minute I got that call from the collections agency they told me they won't see me even after I pay even though I never got a phone call or a letter. The front office will not make any exceptions and will not see you if you go to collections so if you go here please make sure that the front desk because apparently they wouldn't question me about living in Arizona yet coming to wallingford ct for a dr appointment which is beyond me. So make sure everything is up to date and don't be surprised if out of no where they stop seeing you and the dr won't talk to you about it either... horrible morals and ethics that are practiced at this office... watch yourself.

I have been a patient at his office for over 10 years (cleanings, cavities, X-Rays, implant cap, etc.) and have always been treated with the upmost care and confidence. Dr Dow takes the fear out of going to the dentist. He is very gentle and makes the experience of being in his chair mentally and physically painfree. He is very conscious of costs and does not jump into expensive procedures unless absolutely indicated. He goes above and beyond and it is very clear that he takes pride in what he does. These qualities are rarely found in one person, let alone one dentist. This office is certainly one of the best things about the town of Wallingford! Recommended by my periodontist, I saw Dr Dow for a complex case requiring bleaching, extractions, bone grafting, fitting of a temporary and permanent bridge. Dr Dow took me immediately. His office staff is terrific. They made me feel welcomed and they offered their in-house “insurance “ plan which I took advantage of right away. Sue is adorable and very knowledgeable about the ZOOM bleaching method used. She certainly made a difference in the color of my teeth and Dr Dow suggested she do a second treatment which brought the color up several more levels. And he said it would be at NO CHARGE! When my extractions were done, Dr Dow saw me the next day so I didn’t have to walk around looking like a Halloween pumpkin for days. He fit my temp bridge, made some adjustments, and within 24 hours, I had a beautiful upper row smile. I cannot explain what seeing that difference makes and combined with his relaxed but caring attitude ( he gave me his home number in case I had problems overnight), his great sense of humor and the time he takes with his patients, going to this dentist is a pleasure. Liz is very professional as the financial person you see on your way out. She explained the charges, worked with my CareCredit card and made sure to re-explain the office dental plan EVERYTIME I needed to hear it again. This was a tough couple of days running between 2 dental professionals and having so much intricate work done, but I can’t thank Dr Dow and his “ladies” enough.

Dr. Dow does good work and every procedure I have had done was virtually pain free. The staff is pleasant and the new hygienist that started at the end of 2018 is wonderful.
