Dr Brenner & staff have been ridiculously accomodating with regard to working around my schedule, which has been such a blessing. They clearly are using the latest technologies and are very knowledgeable regarding invisalign. I was able to get a quicker result with invisalign for the same price as braces would have cost! I am looking forward to doing a DTR therapy with her, as she was trained by the innovator of the therapy, without having to travel hours into Boston. VERY happy customer!

I have been a patient (as well as whole family) for over 16 years. We are very happy with her as our dentist. Taking care of our teeth and more. Currently she is helping me save my teeth. I apparently have a habit of clenching (stress related) and had cracked a few molars. She repaired the cracks but is really helping me protect and preserve what I have left with TMJ treatment. I am feeling so much better all over and really appreciate what Dr. Brenner and her staff are doing for me. I am sleeping so much better too. 5 stars

This doctor doesn't even deserve one star! Worst visits ever! She told me she was in network so I went to her. During the visit, she sold me a tooth brush which cost me over $120, and I paid cash for it. My annual dentist visit is required by my work and I never paid anything when I went to other doctors. But I received a bill from her. I called the insurance company, at first, the insurance agent said she was out of the network. I then called the doctor to ask her why she said she was in network if she was not? She called me back, said she was in network, the insurance company did not submit the paper work correctly and she was going to fix the issue. A month later, I received another bill from her. I was upset. I thought the issue was taking care of, why am I still being charged?! So I called the insurance company, insurance agent told me she is in the network now, I dont owe her anything. The bill will be taking care of. So I called the doctor back, she was NOT NICE on the phone and said "I will call one last time for you, you need to take care of it next time!". I was speechless, never thought a business owner would say something like that to the client! If it wasnt for me, she probably is still out of the network, and would have loose additional customers! I didnt hear from her for another months. I thought the issue has been taking care of. All of sudden, I received this final notice from her office, saying if I don't pay in 10 days, she will take serious actions. First of all, I never received other notices prior to this letter. Second, she never called me. Third, she charges me interest on the amount. I called the insurance company once again, they told me I don't owe her anything! The insurance agent told me the bill has been taking care of! The insurance paid her already for the full amount! I can tell you right now, she is not as professional as you think. If you dont want to go through what I have been through, you'd better think twice before you make the appointment!

Dr. Brenner and her staff are amazing! I hadn't been to a dentist in almost 17 years and was afraid of the unknowns and the embarrassment of having to show someone my teeth. They made me feel comfortable and welcome! They were honest and informative but spoke in a language I could understand. Dr. Brenner has an amazing approach to helping her patients... from laying out a long term plan so you know what you're in for, to making a real effort to help and heal you without just throwing meds and expensive surgeries at you. I started going to her because I had a terrible toothache and Googled dentists that do emergency service. She listed her cell phone number and I thought it was a ploy to get people to think she was available anytime. I left her a message and she called me back minutes later while doing some gardening and talked me through my options. I am a customer for life! The other professionals in the office, Lori and Melanie, are equally polite, calming, caring, informed, and just down right awesome! I legitimately enjoy going to the dentist now and love my new smile!! Thank you Dr. Brenner, Melanie, and Lori!!

Dr. Brenner is an amazing orthodontist. Her methods are as noninvasive and as wholistic as possible. As someone who values both science and wholistic health, her practice brings both sides of modern technology and deeply considerate, open, and communication based treatment. She took a full view of what I was looking to accomplish with my orthodontic treatment and planned something with consideration of my needs and my budget. Her whole staff was warm, welcoming and good humored. Not to mention a staff of all women, which seems to be a rarity in the medical world. It's something which I appreciate since female centric practices are often better at listening and not talking over you, which is something I'm sure any woman reading this will understand. Nobody in this office will talk down to you or make you feel inferior. The office is down to earth but very clean. They use 3-D scans to figure out your orthodontic treatment, which is cutting edge and mess free (Vs traditional impressions) They work with your budget. My new orthodontist and dentist. I'll update this review with my treatment results.

Due to bad experiences as a teenager, I had a huge fear of dentists.... until someone highly recommended Dr. Brenner. I needed some extensive dental work, she was very patient with me and spent the time to explain what needed to be done. She gave me suggestions to help calm my fears and get me through many appointments. She and her assistant Mel always made me feel comfortable. I am very pleased with all the dental work she did and now I can actually go to the dentist without fear, kind of feels like I am just going to visit a friend. Thank you Dr. Bethany Brenner for giving me my smile back.

I tried Dr Brenner without any recommendation or foreknowledge of her services. I needed two crowns and a tooth extracted, so it was not a typical cleaning and check-up. There was no surprise as to what I needed. I fully expected this diagnosis. What I did not expect was a different kind of dental experience. Dr. Brenner was very patient with me, sensing my anxiety over the forthcoming procedure. She took the time to describe everything and answered all questions, and never rushed me so she could move on to the next patient. My previous dentist, although quite capable, made me feel like an account, not a person with feelings and nervousness. This was only the second time I have had a tooth pulled so I was tense. She made sure I would feel no pain by frequently checking that the local anesthesia was working. Dr. Brenner and staff made the experience as nice as can be expected. I will become a regular patient going forward, and my trip to the dentist will be much less stressful. She had prescribed the same pain killer as in an unfavorable review listed on Google. I also had an infection and pain in my tooth when she first saw me, and thus had me on antiB for a week prior to the extraction, so the nagging pain had subsided prior to getting the tooth pulled. Waiting a week may have made all the difference, because the non-narcotic drug she prescribed masked all pain and yet I was clear-headed. I think her prescribing a non-narcotic shows her concern to avoid anything habit-forming. My other dentist never cared about this side effect. After the extraction, she called me later that evening to check on my condition. She also gave me her cell phone number just in case I needed her. This was something my other dentists never did. I have full confidence in Dr. Brenner to be my dentist from now on.

She is rude and pushy but worst of all a lair who seems to only care about money. I needed a root canal done and she told me she was going away and could not do the root-canal (which is covered by state) but will do the crown (which I pay for out of pocket) when she returns. Well I later found out she never went anywhere, she just didn't want to do the root-canal. I'm guessing because as she told me before "the state really doesn't pay well". Then when we caught her in the lie and tried to ask why she didn't want to help us she just sent my family letters saying she was terminating the relationship. DON'T TRUST HER!!

To say I have a crippling fear of dentists is an understatement. I had years of orthodontic work that still affects my smile and my confidence to this day. That's why when I had such bad pain in my tooth that required a root canal, and another dentist couldn't see me for six weeks...I knew I couldn't live with the pain. I frantically searched for a dentist in CT that could help ease my nerves. I knew that if I couldn't find someone I was comfortable with, that I would never get my teeth treated, even if just for routine checkups. That's when I found Dr. Brenner on google. My husband called her for me the next day and although I didn't want to miss work, she stressed to see me the same day to assess my pain, and subsequently gave me my root canal. She spent about an hour talking me through the procedure and then performed the root canal. She suggested wearing headphones which was perfect. I won't say it was pleasant, but I left knowing that the pain was gone, and I would feel comfortable going back to see her in the future. I am still not totally over my fear, but Dr. Brenner and her assistant, Mel practically held my hand through a stressful and quite frankly traumatizing experience. I am thankful for her graciousness and genuinely caring. I'm now on a plan to get my smile and my tooth health back on track. 5 stars...plus a million more!

I had been searching for a Dentist for quite some time. I was scared because I knew I had issues in my mouth and wanted to make sure I was choosing the right dentist to help me take care of them. I had driven past this Dentist office on my way to work and back. A few months later, I ran into serious trouble in my mouth. I could not close my jaw, and I was in serious pain. This is the point where I realized I was in trouble and I needed to find someone I could trust and who would do great quality work. I sat down at my computer and decided to look up that dentist I passed each day. Dr. Bethaney B. Brenner, DMD, LLC. Her website is very well built, informative and made me feel calm. This is when I decided to call her office. From past experience, you never get to talk to the doctor… never. It was her, she was on the phone with me. I was so amazed; it was as if I was calling a friend, yet we had never talked before. We talked about my current mouth issues and soon I was making an appointment. Between the phone conversation and my very first visit she helped me understand how important it was that I did not wait any longer, she was very right. Her office made me feel comfortable, exactly what I was hoping to find. I was so scared; her office staff welcomed me in with open arms. They took x-rays that were so simple I did not even have to get out of the chair. I was able to view each and every x-ray with her and physically see and walk through what was going on with all my teeth. She and her staff helped me understand what I was looking at and what all my options were to help make everything better. I was prescribed some medicine to help bring down the inflammation and fight off infection, and I scheduled an appointment for a Root Canal the very next day. Upon arriving the next day I was scared but calmer. One thing that makes life better at this office is that the staff talks to you and keeps you informed, you feel like a person not a number. Dr. Brenner came in and ran through the entire process of what would be going on for my root canal, as everything got started I began to get really scared and had been in pain for so many weeks with hardly any sleep, tears just came pouring out, I was a mess. She actually took the time to help me calm down, breathe and talked me through this nuclear meltdown and got be back to ground zero. I was so much calmer, ready for what was ahead. As we moved through the process, she kept me informed about what she was doing, what I would be feeling and how comfortable I was. She said to me from the beginning, that I would be amazed at how I feel when this is all over and that I would be laughing about it, she was right. Next thing I know I am looking at the x-ray of my newly fixed tooth, it was perfect and I was laughing. I would highly recommend her for anyone no matter what you are seeking, regular visits or serious issues.

A review regarding a dental implant: My situation was such that Dr. Brenner indicated I was a good candidate for an implant and being a little hesitant I of course had a lot of question. We sat down and she answered my questions and explained in detail what happens during and after the procedure all of which were "on the money." It was a short procedure; the novacaine taking most of the time. The procedure itself was painless and I suffered NO pain after the procedure--ate a normal meal for supper, took two advil and in hindsight probably could've done without the advil. Hard to believe it could be as simple as she said it would be--but it was.

I always have a positive experience! Laurie, Mel and Dr. Brenner are kind and knowledgeable. As far as quality of care goes - 5 stars Billing, eh, I can see where some have given negative feedback. I think it's a software / insurance issue. I don't have great dental insurance and typically pay more for dental care than I'd like. The practice has patients remit at time of payment based on what they expect insurance to reimburse at, which is rarely as expected. (This is common though) Cleanliness is good, I just wish they would consider replacing the carpet with something that can get disinfected. It's not terrible though. I've never had any concerns with sterilization / infection control. I would recommend this practice.

My husband needed a tooth extracted and we were quoted 375 on the phone. When he arrived there was an additional 150 tacked on for the exam. He was then informed, while in the chair, that she "does not believe in narcotics". He tooth was extracted and was infected so she prescribed an antibiotic and something called Lodine (which is an anti-inflammatory) that was supposed to be for pain. A few hours passed and he was in a great deal of pain. I called the office to say that this medication was not touching the pain that was not only in his jaw, but now radiating up to his ear, and asked if she could call in something that would actually relieve the pain, just at least enough to get him through the night. The doctor finally called a few hours later and was completely rude! When my husband told her the medication she had prescribed was not working she said "well you're the first....I guess you like being in "lala land"! Could she be any more rude and unprofessional? How dare her imply that my husband likes "being high", when he just wanted to be out of pain!! Then when I brought the script to CVS she had written it wrong, and gave him 500 mgs of Vicodin, when it was supposed to be 5 mg,..which is the lowest strength. The pharmacist tried calling her to no avail, and I called the office and was told "sorry, we're trying to reach her". Her office claims to do emergencies but will not even return a call to the pharmacy, I guess because "she does not believe in narcotics". What joke. It was the night before xmas eve at dinner time and I had to spend an hour in CVS waiting for her to finally call in. She prescribed him 5 pills, which we thought was funny because she prescribed 12 of the previous medication. The pharmacist agreed that she was completely unprofessional and was pretty shocked at the way we were treated. My husband and I are self employed, in the service industry, and would never treat a client the way she treated us. We will be filing a formal complaint. No one should be made to feel like a drug addict because they need pain relief from a tooth extraction!! Btw...he only needed to take two of the five pills, so I guess he does not like to "be in lala land!" after all!. Needless to say we will never use her again. And it's her loss because I need 2 wisdom teeth extracted but want sedation and was planning on using her if my husbands experience was a positive one.

I went in yesterday after a weekend with tooth pain. She diagnosed the problem by thoroughly asking me questions and gave me my options. I decided to have the root canal procedure, and I cannot stress how well I was treated; I really felt in good hands. Her assistant Melody followed up with me the next day to check on my recovery and that type of customer service is very rare these days. I sincerely recommend Dr Brenner and her highly professional staff.
