We came to this office for a second opinion. Originally we went to the Toothfairy in Ridgefield and were told my 4 y/o would need to be sedated in a procedure at the hospital because capping a tooth would be too traumatic for him. We then tried to schedule the procedure and the facility was unresponsive. From the moment we stepped into All About Kids, my son was mesmerized. Dr. Shaw and her assistants took the time to build repoire with him and made the experience fun from start to finish. He was able to have all cavities tended to and a cap placed in with out any fear. He never needed to be sedated. He just needed to build trust. I am so thankful for this practice and the amazing staff.

The front desk team are very nice and go above and beyond to help you scheduling appointments. We had an EXCELLENT visit to All About Kids Dentistry this morning. It was our second visit there with our almost-2-year-old; he was so relaxed and at ease with both the hygienist, Rose, and the dentist. CROOKS! Just ripping off medical insurances.I was told that my child had a cavity, and I knew that he had no cavities on how we take care of his teeth. I went to another dentist after fighting with them to get my x-rays and medical records for over a week.The other dentist showed me the x-rays and it showed NO cavities in his mouth. Don't trust this business. Also it's a nightmare getting through to this office. 2 days of calling trying to get through and a voicemail system that doesn't work. You can't even get days and hours of operation on their recording. And this has happened before. They will never see me or my family in any of their offices deceptive Crooks.

Today’s visit was a difficult one, However, the dentist and the assistant went above and beyond to their duties and were extremely patient and comforting with my daughter. Would not recommend Dr. Shiva to anyone. This was my daughter's first time visiting the dentist. Dr. Shiva didn't introduce herself, had no patience or compassion for my scared 3 year old. She acted annoyed within seconds of her not cooperating, even saying that another baby was waiting so she had to hurry up. Our hygienist was very sweet though.

My wife awarded me the task of taking our 5 year old daughter to a new pediatric dentist in Danbury last week. Back story: my daughter is petrified of the dentist and cried the entire ride to the office. Upon walking in, we were very impressed with the fun ocean themed decor, which instantly made my daughter happy and lightened her mood. We were greeted with friendly faces, especially by our doctor (Dr Megha Shah). After being taken back to our room, my daughter insisted on sitting on my lap during the whole visit. This is when Dr Shah took over. She immediately comforted my daughter and made her feel safe and at ease, as if a parent would their own child when feeling scared and nervous. She was very thorough, and explained in detail in a way a 5 year old would understand, what exactly she was doing at each moment. By the end of the visit, my daughter was smiling and laughing and felt comfortable and confident and was excited to come back for her next visit. As someone who works in the medical industry, I’ve never been so impressed with a doctor’s bedside manner and ability to ease a tense situation. We will certainly be coming back with our 3 year old daughter as well, and will always be requesting Dr Shah.

What a great experience my children had coming to see the dentist at All About Kids. The staff in the front desk, hygienist, and the doctors are lovely and amazing. They took care of my two little ones today and the word is amazing. They take time with my little ones and made them comfortable. been bringing my step kids here since they opened and always had a great experience, doctors and assistant and hygienists always made my kids feel safe and comfortable, but recently the last few times we went in and saw the same doctor (dr.Shawh) its been very strange and uncomfortable. the first time we met her i remember being very uncomfortable with the way she was speaking to my stepson and he mentioned he was annoyed by her messing up his hair (very different but i just laughed it off even tho it was strange) and the last time we went the hygienist was doing the cleaning the same doctor from the last time (dr. shawh) came in and stood at the door on her phone and then the gentleman from the front desk came in after her to ask her a question about another patient and she didnt even step out, instead she kept talking to him about another patient all in the same room my step child was getting their teeth cleaned. she finished her back and fourth conversation with the man from the front desk and then walked out of the room while talking on the phone in the hallway, when she finally came in to see my stepkids she seemed annoyed. my neighbor had a bad experience with this same doctor and requested not to be seen by that doctor again. I will do the same from now on because i dont want to switch dentist office because prior to the last few times we always had great experiences with doctors and the staff.

My girls had appointments first thing today. I call them right st 8:30 to make them aware I won’t be bringing my girls because they are running fever. The receptionist who answered my call was so unprofessional the first thing that came out her mouth was you know there is a change you will get charge for canceling last min, now I work for a doctors office for over 10yrs and was a receptionist and not once have I ever spoken or show disconcerted to a patient. But whoever answered my call ONLY care to tell me I mite get charge. I truly do get the hold cancel appointment last min, but if I’m telling you my girls are running fever I mean did she expect for me to bring them to there office with fever?! I always keep my appointments never a no show and when I do call all I get is mouth and unprofessionalism. Now what bothers me out of all is that she hung up the phone without asking is there anything else I could help you with? Is the proper way to try to end a phone call but she didn’t even bother. Now I have call several time after she hung up and they refuse to answer my call. I’m in such of disbelief now it makes me wonder if I really want to keep bringing my girls to this office. Now I just call again and spoke to supposedly a supervisor and his gonna tell me he can’t reschedule my girls appointment to a sat because his system won’t allow it! That is a complete bs then he tells me they are putting my girls on a cancellation list I said ok requesting they call me on a Sat, then his gonna tell me because my youngest is only 2 they don’t seem 2yr olds on sat! Wth difference does it make, I told him that’s bs as all of my girls appointments always been on a sat, his gonna tell me policy just change when today? Really! I’m so done with this office and I hope you guys as well. I guess my girls or any kids can’t get sick and call last min to cancel cause this this the bs your gonna get. What a disappointment of of a receptionist and supervisor!! If this is the way you handle a last min cancellation 6month check up I could just imagine if you need to cancel a last min procedure. SUCH A POOR SERVICE. You get a 0 rating from me. I’m done with this office!!!!!!!

Well, the best I can say is that they are awesome! From the moment you get through the door there is excitement and wonder on my and my child's face. The staff is kind and there's gaming stations for the kids to play, stickers and a balloon when the appointment is finished. This was the first pleasant dentistry experience I've ever had in my life and I'm so glad that I could give it to my child. There's an overhead tv screen so my little one can pick out her own movie or show (a greatful distraction). And the staff, understand the needs and the fears of children. They work hard and care enough to make fears dissipate so my child can have a great experience. I'm grateful for the care and consideration of the staff. My only hope is that they open more offices around Connecticut and that I can get my little one to leave the office because it's so fun being there, even for that, I'm grateful! I would give a thousand stars but I guess 5 will have to do.

The dentist apparently is great and the kids like them but the people that run the office, on the other hand, are horrible. They get you to sign a form that states that they will charge your insurance and what ever isn't covered you will get billed for. Then they proceed to charge you for the entire bill personally without even contacting your insurance company even though they accept them. Then you go home and tell your husband about it who follows up with a few phone calls and the offices don't care to call you back because they already have your money... Do yourselves a favor and go somewhere else.

Ive been taking my 4 year old here for about 2 years and every time we go we are in and out even to schedule an appointment they always try to fit you in! Always a great experience!

All my kids go there and they love it.It's a very busy office but, you don't feel like they are rushing you. I will say I was very upset when they tried to cancel my appointment because they didn't get a confirmation .I've never missed any appointments and I have more than one kid that goes there so, for them to do that, It was a slap in the face . I understand it's a policy they have but, in my opinion, it was a little ridiculous.

Sorry this is so long but it’s very important that I get this out! Just want to give all the parents out there a heads up about “All about kids” dental in Danbury. I started going there about 2 years ago when Shane was terrified of the dentist and they were amazing, he’s been great ever since. About 2 weeks ago I took him for a routine cleaning and they told me he needed X-rays. Then they told me he had 5 cavities and three were really bad and needed to be filled immediately, they even tried to get me to stay and do them that day. (Weird I know.) Anyways I left thinking how is this possible? He doesn’t eat candy or any junk, we brush and floss everyday. So before I let anyone drill in my sons mouth I took him to my dentist for a second opinion, who has taken care of my family for 30 years. She takes care of children and adults. I brought him in, she looked at him and saw nothing wrong but wanted to see the X-rays to see if there was anything in between the teeth that she couldn’t feel. After they gave them the run around about sending over the images (which right there was a sign) finally they got them and my dentist called me this am and told me there is NOTHING in his mouth that needs to be filled. She said the fact that they gave me no paperwork and didn’t even tell me what tooth it was and the way they were acting was extremely shady. So I called and asked to speak with a manager as soon as I gave them my name they started acting weird and kept telling me she wasn’t there today even when the person before said she was at lunch and should be back soon. Finally after calling back a few times I finally got smart and wouldn’t tell them my name and what do you know? She picked right up!! I explained what happened and asked her for an explanation as to why this happened. She was nasty and told me I called them too much today and was “being aggressive” (ya think? You were just about to drill in my 4 year olds mouth to take advantage of my insurance??!!) she kept saying they never spoke with my dentist and that she must have not known what she was talking about! When I spoke with my dentist she said she kept asking them where the cavities were because she wasn’t seeing anything and they just kept changing the subject and wouldn’t tell her. She also kept yelling at me saying “you’re not a dentist”! and she was calling her attorney if I try and call back again??!! And hung up on me! These are the most unprofessional people I’ve ever spoken with! I feel bad for all the people that have been taken advantage of by them especially because its children! So sad! Just beware and always get a second opinion! Especially when it’s your child! Don’t let the decor and sweet hygienists fool you!

We took our kid there for a check up, the dentist rushed us and said that he needed two fillings, even though his mom checks his teeth almost every day and never seen cavities, they said he needed two fillings and we need to start right away. They took us by surprise and we were trusting and got his tooth filled. I don't think neither of the fillings were necessary and I don't feel comfortable going back to that dentist again
