My 2 year old had to have a cap for her chipped tooth (lateral incisor). The staff took great care of her, completed her procedure quickly and we didn't have to put her under general anesthesia which was recommended by another local pediatric dentist. Dr Keith is very thorough, doesn't rush through instructions or explanations and doesn't make me feel rushed when I'm asking questions. I'm very happy with the care my daughter received and we will keep going to Pediatric Dentistry of the Rockies until they tell us our daughter is too old!

This place was amazing. My son had to get both a lip and tongue tie lasered and it went so well. The nurse was friendly and informative and communicated so well the entire time. Dr Van Tassel was also incredibly friendly and explained everything very clearly - they made us feel very comfortable putting our 10 week old in their hands (literally and figuratively). We were there during a really busy time so we had to wait a little longer, so they gave us a Starbucks gift card to apologize for the wait. The wait wasn’t even that bad since we were in a private room, comfortably waiting. I would highly recommend this place!

Was so thrilled with our visit today for my 8 year old's bi-annual cleaning. He was, as usual anxious about his visit but after some bribing, I got him in the office and into the cleaning chair with the hygienist there. She was extremely calm and comforting and helped to explain all the tools over again to him. He held still for her while she cleaned his teeth. Dr. Alleman came over to check him out and continued a conversation with him about his summer break to ease his fears. We were in and out in less than 30 minutes with a cavity free mouth! So happy we found Pediatric Dentistry of the Rockies.

Recently took my 3 kiddos in for teeth cleanings. Turns out 2 of my kids needed small cavities filled. The office was able to do the fillings right after their cleanings—saving us another trip to the DDS and eliminating another day away from School. Dr Zach and Dr Van Tassell are great—very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I never feel like they are trying to “up sale” us on anything. I feel the layout and flow of their office is excellent and all the staff are great. My daughter has actually been asking for months when her next DDS appt was because she loves going there. How often does that happen?

He answered all of our questions and took his time, no rush and no pressure. Procedure went well and we were given Doctor cell number for text or call questions post-procedure. Immediate improvements with nursing and excited to see how it goes after a few days!

Dr. Keith and his staff are top notch. Both of my children see him and I wouldn't go anywhere else. They are patient and gentle with my kids and give them great advice about keeping the sugar bugs away. My son has had 4 fillings and 2 crowns already in his short 6 years and both times had to be fully sedated. The experience was so pleasant and professional. I cannot say enough about how I love this office. Every staff member is not only kind but so helpful. I am treated as a competent memeber of my kids health team, they don't just " allow" my questions and comments but welcome them and answer so graciously. My kids who had awful first experiences at another office, now get EXCITED when it's dentist time! I only wish I could find an adult dentist and doctors who treated patients with such dignity.

I don't write a lot of reviews, but our whole experience with this office was fantastic. My 6 year old had 2 small cavities filled this past week after we were referred from our primary dentist. When we were done, my son literally asked me when we could go back! Dr Van Tassel was fantastic for my boy and was very good at making sure I understood what was going on too. The only thing I didn't like was they made it too easy and gave me no way to say to my kid "you better do better at brushing your teeth or you have to go back to the dentist again!" He wants to go back and so now I have to figure out how to be a better parent beyond just striking fear into him! :) You won't be disappointed with this group. Highly recommended.

We were new in town and so I chose them because of their excellent rating and boy did they live up to it. I wish there was a ten star rating for exceptional service like theirs. I had all three of my children seen same day, same time(literally side by side) including a two year old which happened to be the first dental visit. ALL the staff i dealt with were incredibly kind and genuinely interested in my family. The kids had seen only one of the two dentist that day, but the other dentist made it a point to come out introduce himself welcome my family and talk with my kids and I. Also,one of the children had a cavity that needed to be taken care of and they arranged it so they could fit him in while we were there. I know that this isn't always going to be the case, same day appointments, but their efforts were so helpful that day. Thanks for everything!

This office runs very efficiently, from scheduling to check-in, back office orientation to the exam, and all the way to scheduling for the next visit. The team worked well together to create a pleasant, inviting, fun atmosphere (not to mention prompt service!). The assistants appear to enjoy their jobs, going so far as to voluntarily entertain my 18 month old so that my husband and I could have a constructive conversation with Dr. Keith. Dr. Keith has a very approachable, relaxed disposition, he invited questions and concerns of ours, did not appear rushed, and seemed realistic as to expectations for toddler home oral health care. As someone who works primarily in adult dentistry, I hear loads of stories from adult patients who have a fear of going to the dentist, due in large part to traumatic dental visits as children. From what I saw at our initial visit, Dr. Keith and his team seem committed to doing everything in their power to mitigate those potential negative childhood dental experiences. I look forward to Pediatric Dentistry of the Rockies being our child's dental home, as I believe here he will receive comfortable and comprehensive care.

We could not be more pleased with the care they provide for our children. The staff are all kind and are excellent with kids of all ages. They take the time to explain the instruments and the procedure to the kids. They use a weighted blanket to make kids feel calm and comfortable, and allow kids to watch a movie during cavity fillings. This is absolutely the BEST pediatric dentist in Fort Collins.

HIGHLY impressed with this practice, with Dr. Zack and the hygienists . My son had a cracked tooth from falling and hitting his incisor and was very apprehensive about having dental work done . From start to finish they helped put my son at ease so they could successfully make the repairs needed. They took the time to be compassionate and explain step by step what would take place as they did it . I also appreciate the conservative nature of the dentist as he didn't rush to fill every cavity. He said if they were small that we would monitor them and compare to X-rays at the next visit. Very friendly, professional staff. Super kid friendly office and environment . So thankful I found this place . I live about 35 min away but definitely worth the drive . 5 stars in my book!

The staff and Dentist were amazingly patient and quick! Worked with us to set up a financial payment plan and let me stay in the rooms with kids. They filled us in on what changes they were making and the suggestions were based on what they felt would work best for my kids. For instance my daughter had to get a crown placed. I was going to get the pearl colored one even though I knew it cost more. The dentist recommend I get the stainless steel becaise it would last longer with my daughters grinding teeth issue. So I went with his advice. Very very happy and grateful for this pediatric dentistry. Thank you!!!

If you want to find a dentist for your kiddo, look no further. I have been to a few dentists in town for my little man, who is terrified of dentists. Although he is still terrified at Pediatric Dentistry, he becomes more comfortable each visit. Dr. Zach, God bless the man, goes above and beyond for Hunter to feel comfortable. In fact, he even wrote him an email after finding out how much he loves pokemon about how much pokemon like to have clean teeth. He made him a friend on Pokemon Go so Hunter will want to go back in 6 months to trade pokemon! Being patient and taking small steps means the world to me. I no longer have anxiety about going with my son to the dentist. No one looks at me wondering what in the world is wrong with my son, instead they just gather around and help out in every way they can. My four children are able to be seen all at once - which makes going to the dentist an easy and quick experience! When additional procedures are needed, they are explained well to me and my children. Sometimes, these procedures are even able to be done the same day. For example, one of my kids needed to have a few cavities cleaned and filled. We were able to fit it in their schedule and do it right away, instead of having to come back for another appointment. The entire staff works with kids and families all the time, so they are excellent at making a child's trip to the dentist a positive experience. Thanks!

My two children (now 9 and 5) have been seeing Dr. Keith for 3-4 years (he is their first and only dentist). Dr. Keith and his staff are all terrific. A few things I like: 1) parents are welcome to go back with their kids if they need you (some peds dentists don't like this), 2) the people are so friendly and nice, that kids like mine don't feel the need to have me -- there is NOTHING scary about the dentist. They even got x-rays with bite-wings (is that what they call it?) today, without me anywhere nearby. NO PROBLEM. Why? Because they are treated kindly and respectfully by everyone there (trust me, I have a kid who's "these people aren't treating me well" radar is set to "extra sensitive.") 3) They always have me back at the end, when the doc is examining them, to have a look-see and hear the "report" straight from him, and ask any questions directly. 4) He's uber-nice. 5) They have video games in the waiting room -- okay, that's what my kids like, but still, they are ALWAYS happy to go to the dentist. Our visit today was just as good as all of them -- everyone treated well, teeth cared for well, happy kids, happy mom. Oh, and my youngest was excited to learn that she actually does have some loose teeth. Despite her anticipation of this event, she hadn't noticed yet, but the hygienist did. She's a happy camper.

Our appointment was for 2, right after their lunch. We were there way early- and therefor the first ones there. Many others showed up after us. When they started calling people in, they called in three before us- but I didn’t think anything of it until we had to wait close to thirty minutes before being seen. When I mentioned it to Ashley, the DA, she said I could go up front and that many people are scheduled at the same time. When I asked if that was the case, shouldn’t we be first since we were there first, she gave a VERY unapologetic smirk and “sorry” with sarcasm. The only reason this does not have a one star is since the doc was professional, kind and knowledgeable and was able to hurry when I told him we had to go since it took so long. In short, I’m glad we don’t have to come back here. Or if I ever do, to plan for two hours for a 15 minute appointment. Snacks, toys and not after lunch due to school pickups.

I took my 19 month old daughter to Pediatric Dentistry of the Rockies today for her very first visit to the dentist. I was really dreading it, but It was a wonderful experience! The entire staff was friendly and helpful. The office is completely geared towards kids. Dr. Keith is excellent with small children. He was able to get my daughter to open her mouth for a full exam without any problem. I'm so glad that we found Dr. Keith and this practice!

We love this office! Dr. Van Tassell is great & the hygienists do a great job as well. It took my son a few visits to get comfortable and now he does just awesome! Gets cleanings and X-rays no problem. Everyone is extremely helpful, nice, and great with kids! Fun toys at the front too! Oh and my kids love the coins they get to redeem for a little prize at the end. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

As a parent, I also like how he shows and tells me what's going on with my children's teeth. The billing is awesome. They bill your insurance for you. Appointments can now be made online as well as over the phone. And when you have an emergency, they get you right in. Today we called for a filling that fell out and we received an appointment 2 hours later. Thanks so much for making our dental visits so pleasant.

Of all the doctors my son was forced to see, Dr. Van Tassell was the only one my son was never afraid of. He and his staff are always amazingly friendly and they have so much patience for both of my boys! Dr. Keith and his staff are fantastic. Ever since my 3 year old son had an accident that knocked off one of his teeth, we've been seeing him and his team now for the past 4 years! Dr. Keith was the only doctor in town who was willing to see my son immediately right after his accident. Not even the on-call ER doctor who had refused to come to the hospital had "room" for him the next day. BEST DENTIST EVER! After 3 unsuccessful attempts to get my daughters teeth cleaned and x-rays at another dentist in the area, we finally decided to switch. After many recommendations we decided to try out Pediatric Dentistry of the Rockies. The staff is EXCELLENT. They are totally kid friendly - making sure that the kids understand the process, the tools, what's going to happen next, etc. You can tell that everyone there is trained in working with little ones and takes the fear right out of being at the dentist. I'm happy to say that today's appointment was wonderful. It erased all the fear my daughter may have had with dentist appointments. She had fun while business was getting done. THANK YOU so much!
