Was told not to worry about pain in my tooth and jaw, called it signal reaction to change! Dying tooth on christmas not a great way to start my holiday. Now I have a root canal I need to get right after christmas. Don't ignore pain from your patients! *EVEN* pain from chronic pain patients. Not going back for sure. Giving three stars because Doctors like Paul and Dave are great people and always have been great to me when I go. I'm just extremely disappointed in this latest thing.

I was lucky enough to have Dr. Murphy and others that worked with him tackle the challenge of my dental implants. The whole process was very concise, everyone in the office was wonderful, and the flowers they allowed me to take home after each visit made my girlfriend very happy. Without this office, I am not sure how my implants would have panned out. I was very lucky and fortunate and am very grateful for everything this office has done for me. Hopefully he gets this message and knows that the implants are doing well!

I found Dr. Murphy to be cold, arrogant, and uncaring. He rushed through the visit, refused to answer my questions, and in general did a very, very, poor job. I had to go to a second dentist to have the tooth that was bothering me repaired properly. This dentist seemed to be out-of-touch and in a world of his own. When I called to ask that he reevaluate his work, he blew me off. I strongly recommend finding another dentist.

I visited Dr Welden in order to get a second opinion regarding a treatment I received from a local endodontist. Dr Welden was knowledgeable, very professional and patient. He has excellent bed side manner. I very much appreciated both his through explanations and his ability to listen.

Dr. Bob and his team are excellent dentists! I had my first visit with them, and I felt immediately welcomed! I had an hour-long consultation with Dr. Bob, and we reviewed my dental plan for the future. They even gave me a rose when I left! Every employee was smiling, and very obviously loved their job. I will definitely be back, and will be bringing the rest of my family with me! 10/10, would recommend.

Absolutely the best dentist, David Welden, practices as one of the kindest and most well organized doctors that I've ever experienced. The entire North Boulder Dental Group staff is top notch! Here's why: 1.) They have up to date technology. For example, they can provide up immediate images of what they are seeing to inform the patient, they use an easy to read digital chart that explains progress, and as a perk they have a tv w/ headphones that allows the patient to watch a show that can drown out drilling sounds. 2.) The office is incredibly clean and feels very professional. 3.) The staff seems happy. As I edit this post, I am waking out of their office after they all stayed late to solve a pain issue before I go out of town. Love this team!

Have always had great experiences here. I appreciate their more conservative approach to recommending fillings: twice now I have had other dentists recommend fillings that the dentists at North Boulder dental said were completely unnecessary. They don't have cheap cleaning specials, but their honesty and thoroughness makes it well worth it (even without dental insurance), and their honest recommendations have saved me hundreds of dollars. Would not go anywhere else for dental work.

If I could vote 500 stars I would. I’ve been a patient of Dr Sica’s for over 15 years and can say with full certainty he is THE best dentist I have ever been to. His attention to detail and dental expertise are exemplary. The front office welcomes patients you with such sweetness and they work magic with their scheduling. The hygienists are top notch and I have to say Caroline gave me the best cleaning of my life! She polished them first then cleaned which made a huge difference. Love love love North Boulder Dental!

This is by far the best dental practice I have ever been to. I scheduled a visit for a dental emergency and was seen the same day, despite being a new patient. Dr. David Welden was excellent and explained my options after genuinely listening and considering what would be best for me personally. I would recommend to anyone in the boulder area.

This is the second dental group I have used in Boulder, and it's one of the best dental groups I've ever been to. The dentists do a really great job of explaining what's going on, and ALL of the staff are super nice and happy to deal with your insurance company. I really really recommend them (and I'm really really glad to not have to shop around for dentists anymore.)

North Boulder Dental is PHENOMENAL! The docs are kind, compassionate, and expertly capable, and the hygienists and staff are always wonderful. I've seen Dr. Nielsen for a while now and deeply appreciate the warmth and expertise she's brought to every one of my appointments (and fillings). I know I've received the best care possible and enjoy each opportunity I've had to see Dr. Nielsen. I also recently developed a painful abscess and was able to see Dr. Sica that day. He took the time to understand what was going on, explained everything clearly, and treated me with the utmost kindness and care. The docs at NBD also know the Boulder dental landscape remarkably well - all of the referrals my wife and I have received have been to incredibly kind and expert clinicians for root canals, wisdom teeth removals, etc. Finally, the staff is kind, love what they do, and can often work miracles with scheduling in order to ensure you get the best treatment possible. Dreading the dentist is a thing of the past with North Boulder Dental - I can't recommend them enough!

I have had very positive experiences at this dental group, working with Dr. Weldon. I agree with previous reviews about the helpful, happy staff, technology, cleanliness, and kindness of doctors and staff. I will also add that staff and Doctors take their time to explain procedures, process, options, and offer suggestions in a way that informs and allows me to take better ownership of my oral health. As someone who seeks to do so, the lack of condescension is essential. Thank you!

The staff were all very friendly however the billing department lacks general communication skills. I was billed more than double what I was told I would be expected to pay and instead of being told in person or by phone it came in the form of a bill in the mail. I wish they had been more transparent as I would have chosen another dentist and saved several hundred dollars.
