We have had the most wonderful experience at the golden VA clinic for my dad who is a World War II vet. Morna in audiology and Anita in physical therapy have gone above and beyond always with a smile and a real compassion for my dad . Thank you from dad and mom and the entire family!

I really want to give 0 stars. The doctor is ok but if he asked someone else to do something they won't do it. I am alone with my husband which is a Vietnam vet and a Dementia patient. When we went to his medical visit and told her what the social workers have done to us, the doctor ordered the one in her team to do things right. But afterwards this social worker wanted us to apologize. THE OTHER WAY AROUND! Here they want you only to humiliate you not to help you. The social workers are all colluded against you and the one assigned to your case don't want to move a finger for your loved one. By principle, how I am going to apologize if they insulted me and called me names. It's just a case of bullying. And the one suffering the consequences is my husband. And he has 100% benefits. I wonder what they do to those that are with less. They want easy money here. They work in front of their screens and don't want to do ANY effort. I am even receiving medicines that we don't need!

I just had one of the best Primary Care Appointments at the Veteran's Affairs Golden CBOC. I am beyond pleasantly surprised. It was a new PCP for me, my last retired so I came in with so much anexity but Cole Zanetti, DO, MPH. Was phenomenal. This honestly was one of the best doctor appointments I have ever had even with private care.

Nothing but good things to say about the Staff here, at the Golden VA. The mental health department especially and especially Ms. Collins. I cannot give enough thanks to Ms Collins for her work with me and recent patience as well. She has worked with me for over a decade. I got roughed up at St. Anthony’s Porter hospital. I had a concussion to my belief. Ms. Collins actually visited me when I asked for Federal protection and was transported to the VA. I cannot say enough good things about the Golden V.A. Awesome!!!! I've been to many states and different doctors and nurses. And by far this is the BEST place I have ever dealt with. (I'm in the medical field as well) Rude doctors calling you a liar is all I got in other VA facilities. These doctors and nurses spent well over the time allowed to talk and go over my injuries and situation. NEVER RUSHED. EVERY other place I have been has had the most rude doctors who were in a hurry to get you out and didn't care at all. I hated it so much that I just really didn't even wanna go cause I had to explain myself to everyone and felt like no one cared. THIS IS BY FAR the best place ever. Really made me feel like I was important and they wanted to get to the bottom of it. And if you are a veteran from other facilities....you know exactly what I mean. WHOEVER RUNS THIS PLACE SHOULD HIGHLY BE RECOMMENDED TO RUN THE WHOLE VA SYSTEM. IT WOULD BE SOOOOO MUCH BETTER NO MATTER WHERE YOU WENT.

This is my first review ever, however, I believe it is warranted. I have been to a few VA facilities since separation from Active Duty and this clinic was by far the best - Even better than most civilian hospitals/clinics that I've been to. The staff were friendly and professional, my PCM was excellent, the facilities were clean and overall, it was a good experience. The only downside was waiting over a month and a half for an initial appointment, but unfortunately they only have 15 Care Managers on staff.

Vets, this site has treated me with nothing but professionalism and respect! I called today asking about an appointment, was called back same day and have an appointment in less than 2 weeks. VA gets a bad wrap. Wait times are the same in the civilian world. Things happen everywhere. Filing for and receiving benefits was seamless. To the person who called this a scam, this is the VA and it's paid for by the government and by the taxpayers to serve those who have served. It's not for the civilian non-vet population. I doubt you knew what this facility was there for.

Extreme willingness to help! So far I've been through the CMP exam and some doctors appointments. My experiences have been very pleasant. They have a great appreciation for vets unlike some VA clinics closer to military bases. If you have the time check out the restaurants and hiking spots in the area. I'd love to live here if I could. 6/12/2018 They have a volunteer playing the harp in the main lobby. Very relaxing. Thank you!

I had filed a claim for disability benefits, and was sent here for an examination. The staff I dealt with were friendly and professional. More than that, however, as I waited for my appointment, I watched staff interact with other veterans, and I was really impressed with how they treated people. Regardless of how difficult the vet was behaving, the staff was very helpful and respectful. Update: The purpose of my visit to the clinic was to have my hearing tested so that the VA could make a decision regarding my claim for disability benefits. The audiologist who conducted the examination verbally told me that my military duties could be the cause of my hearing loss, but I recently learned that her written report concluded that my disability was not likely to have been the result of my military service. She either lied to me or she towed the VA line in order to disallow my claim.

Marques Johnson has been nothing but polite and concerned and always goes out of his way to make sure that my visit is nothing but Superior.

Called to ask pricing for an x-ray. They don’t know. Can’t even give me an estimate. How the hell do you not know how much your services cost? You give patients a bill when they leave ?? This place is a scam. Go to MedExpress urgent care, they will give you a clear idea of what the costs are and they are very affordable.

Facility was new and clean, staff at the Primary Care were professional and friendly. But the only thing there is Mental Health, Primary Care, and by appointment only Laboratory. I had all of my services at the Oceanside Clinic and didn't have to go to another. Nothing more than a Doctors office.

Best Satellite Clinic VA has. Top notch staff, very caring and efficient. As with any thing military based, hurry up and wait. The only dissatisfied patients are the ones who insist on being seen without an appointment ,,or feel in titled.
