Dont believe all these "5 star" reviews probably employees. I walked through the door with blue cross insurance. They charged me $20 to be seen. I said ok I expect that. I get to the back, dr. Comes in, prods around my mouth, then the nurse/ receptionist enters with a piece of paper says well we will need $144.00 before we pull the tooth. ( what is insurance for? I've been to a dentist. Insurance is billed then we pay what our copay is.) BTW the minute I told them I didn't have that kind of cash the bib was taken off and I was escorted to the front. Terrible place. They could have told us it would be $144.00 up front before I paid the $20.00 to be seen or went to the back and had xrays done. Hucksters in dental robes taking advantage of the pain people are in. Don't do it. Run- run fast, run far. Far far away from this establishment.

Couldn't be more happy with Dr. Boyd and his assistant, Tera. I have been having ongoing pain and sensitivity for months that wasn't being properly addressed by my regular dentist and had to see EDCS with an emergency appointment on a Sunday. Tera was warm and friendly and Dr. Boyd took the time to educate me and create an action plan for long term relief and care. They won my business in one visit from a dentist I've been seeing for ten years!

By far one of the best Dentist experiences I have ever had. They were able to get in, in a timely manner. From the moment I walked through the door I felt welcomed. The staff was very friendly and professional. Especially Danielle, she made us feel welcome and at ease. I had my son with me during my second visit, they interacted with him instead of focusing just on the patient. Which was nice because I usually worry about bringing my kids along to appointments.The front desk staff went over everything I regard to what covered and even though they are OON. I will continue to use them. And the dentist!!! He was amazing, he explained everything as he completed a root canal. Best part, I went home pain free. Thank you and your amazing staff

Oh my goodness, this place is wonderful, if you have to go to a dentist! Dr Boyd and Nakeeta and all the office staff were kind and caring. Dr Boyd explained all of what I needed done, in a thorough way, didn't rush me thru. Nakeeta also the same. Explained my financing options clearly. I'm 58, been to a few dentists. These guys definitely one of the best! Thk you for pleasant, caring service!

I was in a lot of pain on a Sunday over the holiday weekend. Emergency Dental was able to get me in within 2 hours of calling them. The staff was super friendly and the Dentist on duty was one of the friendliest I have ever seen (and normally I don't like Dentists). Would recommend to anyone in need.

This place is AWESOME!! The staff is amazing and they get you in and seen quickly. By far the best dental experience iv had thanks to Nakeeta the director and dental assistant and kamara who works at the front desk. If u have a dental need this is the best place in Colorado Springs in my opinion.

I was scheduled for 2 extractions for Monday, but the pain got too intense over the weekend. I was able to get in same day on a Saturday for the procedure. Nakeeta, the assistant, was wonderful. She was kind, attentive, patient, and went over and beyond for my care. Dr Boyd, who performed the extractions was knowledgeable, thorough, listened well, and incredibly patient with my many questions. He really took his time with my case to determine the best diagnosis and approach. It hasn’t even been 24 hours since the procedure, but I am feeling tremendously better and in very little discomfort from the extractions. I am so thankful such quality emergency care is available. Would highly recommend.

I came in today to get a tooth removed. It was a very good experience! Everyone was polite, friendly, professional and each person did their jobs very well. My team today was Dr. Boyd, Tera, and Makeeta. They did great and this is a wonderful place to get your dentistry done at. The one down side was a somewhat long wait but everything else was excellent.

Came in for emergency procedure on a Sun. Front end told us insurance was unable to get a hold of. Was told they would call and refund the next day, Mon, once insurance was contacted. Their phone number is to another place in Omaha, NE where the employee there is extreamly rude and now says that you are refunded after the insurance pays, which could be a month an a half. TLDR: Front end lied, back-end is holding our money untill ins pays a month and a half from now.

If I could rate more stars I would. I cannot express how thankful and grateful I am to have found this Dentistry on such short notice. I was experiencing severe pain on my left side, and I knew the reason-I still had all four of my wisdom teethe, and the lower left one was cracking and breaking off over the years. So, it got to the point where I needed to act fast due to my procrastination. I Google searched, emergency dentist near me, and Emergency Dental of Colorado Springs popped up. I was in so much pain, I didn't even care, I called, was able to get in that day. First, Dr. Boyd's assistant, Tera, was amazing. She was so friendly and kind. I couldn't believe how personable she was. She helped calm my fears and anxieties. Dr. Boyd was just as amazing. He too was personable, understanding, kind, compassionate, and there needs to be more Dentists like him. I was thoroughly impressed and feel I lucked out for finding him on a whim! If you want to be treated like a person, if you want to be treated with patience and kindness, and if you want the best Dentist in town, you need to go see Dr. Boyd. An unfavorable experience at a different practice had me in quite a bit pain. Following my visit with Isaac, I am happy to report that I am in much better spirits and free to once again eat whatever I please! He worked on my crowns and talked me through my concerns. My experience with this office began on a Saturday at 8:30 AM when I called seeking help to alieviate the excruciating nerve pain I was experiencing. The front desk quickly set me up with an appointment set for 11 AM that same morning and said they would be able to help me with same day treatment. She was able to give accurate pricing and set my appointment with ease. Nakita greeted me when I arrived, in so much pain. She was sweet, professional and helpful. I saw “the team”.. Dr. Boyd and his dental assistant, Tera. I cannot say enough good things about them and the experience and care they provided for me. Dr. Boyd is thourough in his examinations and diagnoses. He is careful and meticulous while performing procedures. He is explanatory and confident. I have always struggled finding a dentist I could trust and before coming in I read good reviews but his expertise exceeded my expectations. Tera is extremely attentive and makes you feel like she’s on your team. She went above and beyond to make sure my needs were met and I was comfortable. She is an absolute patient advocate and natural caregiver. She was such a comfort and was constantly assuring me of her own personal confidence in the doctor. I was not only given relief after diagnoses, but also my own confidence in what my situation was and what I needed to heal. My experience was so enjoyable that I am planning on making this office my general practice from now on. I cannot thank Dr. Boyd and his team enough for helping me get relief when I so desperately needed it.

What a fantastic solution to a dental emergency on a Sunday. After biting into peanut brittle on Saturday a tooth cracked almost in half. I was given an appointment first thing the following morning. After describing my treatment options the Doctor and staff took wonderful care of me and maintained a light attitude considering the situation! I would HIGHLY recommend the services provide by Emergency Dental and will be doing so again myself.

I woke up to extreme amount of pain and needed my tooth pulled asap. I tried a different emergency dentist right down the street that did not seem like they wanted to work with me (I don't have insurance) so instead I found this emergency dentist a couple miles away, from the moment I walked in everyone was very friendly and helpful and worked with me every step of the way. The dentist and his assistant were amazing and made me feel as comfortable as possible considering the pain I was in. I highly recommend coming here if you need an emergency dentist they are awesome and will take great care of you!!

This dental clinic saved my sanity. I had a badly infected tooth and it was driving me insane. If they hadn't been open on Saturdays, I wasn't gonna make it to Sunday. I recently had a molar removed that had been giving me some trouble. I was putting off going to the dentist as I had an extremely horrible experience having a molar removed last year. Thank GOD I found Emergency Dental on a Sunday morning. Met with the staff and then Dr. Boyd came in and got to work. Within minutes the tooth was out and I was pain free. So thankful for this team and will now be going to Emergency dental for all my dental needs. Thanks team!

Best Dental Experience Ever! I broke a top molar in the very back, you know the hardest one to reach... I was in so much pain, my neck felt out of place, I couldn't eat anything for a few days, but that was nothing compared to the 24/7 pounding headache. I'm one of those girly men who are absolutely terrified to go to the dentist, it literally take a few days of excruciating pain to convince me to go, but i can honestly say this team has boosted my confidence in dentistry enough to return to them for more help. You'll meet Nakeeta and Marie in the lobby, they are very friendly and helpful... Tera took me back and set me up for the Doc, shes a blast to get to know and talk with, she had me laughing the minute I sat down, no one beats her southern hospitality, give her a hug for me... Dr Boyd is very knowledgeable and professional, there was no pressure or obligation to continue with anything i was uncomfortable with. He explained my options and was ready to listen to my concerns and questions. Most importantly he was very genital and compassionate the hole time. Its obvious this guy loves his job, he's NOT some 60 year old burnout who's just riding out the last few years before retirement, and he's NOT some young buck with shaky hands and no confidence... These Guys Know What There Doing! Dr. Boyd, with the help of his lovey assistant Tera of course, had my tooth out in less than a minute virtually pain free. It's now the day after the yanking and I still haven't touched the pain meds. Great Work Team!

Fantastic clinic to go to. I would highly recommend to come here. My spouse had incredible tooth pain due to it breaking and causing infection. We went to a closer place to home in peyton and they saw the damage and scheduled him over a month out. I called today and they immediately saw him. Just had to make an appointment and they saw him one hour after i had called. They saw the damage and took care of is tooth immediately as we had hoped for even at a reasonable price. Less pricey (about a grand) than the first place we went to. They staff here is sooo friendly, family oriented, and professional. I love this place. They made sure the whole family was informed with the procedure and it didnt take all of our time to get it done. His appointment was about 30 mins long. Dr. Boyd was amazing and so was his staff. I highly recommend to come here, they take care of emergencies and all other dental needs. We are so happy that they were available on Saturdays. Thanks to the staff and team there, we are highly satisfied and plan to return in the near future.

My son had an abscess and we needed to get seen right away. Supposedly they could not verify my insurance on their computer. Even when I called my insurance to verify and offered to fax proof, they said they had to pull it up...and they did not have a fax number. Very sketchy. We went to another dentist and they had no problem verifying my insurance and getting my son treatment.

What a fantastic solution to a dental emergency on a Sunday. After biting into peanut brittle on Saturday a tooth cracked almost in half. I was given an appointment first thing the following morning. I woke up to extreme amount of pain and needed my tooth pulled asap. I tried a different emergency dentist right down the street that did not seem like they wanted to work with me (I don't have insurance) so instead I found this emergency dentist a couple miles away, from the moment I walked in everyone was very friendly and helpful and worked with me every step of the way. Best Dental Experience Ever! I broke a top molar in the very back, you know the hardest one to reach... I was in so much pain, my neck felt out of place, I couldn't eat anything for a few days, but that was nothing compared to the 24/7 pounding headache. I'm one of those girly men who are absolutely terrified to go to the dentist, it literally take a few days of excruciating pain to convince me to go, but i can honestly say this team has boosted my confidence in dentistry enough to return to them for more help. You'll meet Nakeeta and Marie in the lobby, they are very friendly and helpful... Tera took me back and set me up for the Doc, shes a blast to get to know and talk with, she had me laughing the minute I sat down, no one beats her southern hospitality, give her a hug for me... Dr Boyd is very knowledgeable and professional, there was no pressure or obligation to continue with anything i was uncomfortable with. He explained my options and was ready to listen to my concerns and questions. Most importantly he was very genital and compassionate the hole time. Its obvious this guy loves his job, he's NOT some 60 year old burnout who's just riding out the last few years before retirement, and he's NOT some young buck with shaky hands and no confidence... These Guys Know What There Doing! Dr. Boyd, with the help of his lovey assistant Tera of course, had my tooth out in less than a minute virtually pain free. It's now the day after the yanking and I still haven't touched the pain meds. Great Work Team!

Fantastic clinic to go to. I would highly recommend to come here. My spouse had incredible tooth pain due to it breaking and causing infection. We went to a closer place to home in peyton and they saw the damage and scheduled him over a month out. I called today and they immediately saw him. Just had to make an appointment and they saw him one hour after i had called. They saw the damage and took care of is tooth immediately as we had hoped for even at a reasonable price. Less pricey (about a grand) than the first place we went to. They staff here is sooo friendly, family oriented, and professional. I love this place. They made sure the whole family was informed with the procedure and it didnt take all of our time to get it done. His appointment was about 30 mins long. Dr. Boyd was amazing and so was his staff. I highly recommend to come here, they take care of emergencies and all other dental needs. We are so happy that they were available on Saturdays. Thanks to the staff and team there, we are highly satisfied and plan to return in the near future.

I cannot thank Emergency Dental of Colorado Springs enough!!! I was involved in a freak accident on a Saturday where 2 of my teeth in the front were knocked back. I was scared and didn't think I could ever get my normal smile back. Insert Tera, Kamara, Isaac, and Dr. Boyd. This team is the DREAM team. Their office was open at 7 pm on a Saturday and they were able to see me and realign my teeth. Not only are they skilled with dealing with teeth emergencies, but what makes them the ultimate dream team is their genuine care and concern for their patients. Was seen here Sunday evening over Labor Day weekend. Sherry and Dr. Hammack were wonderful and explained everything to me about my problem. I have serious anxiety and was apprehensive about coming here because of the anxiety but I would come back here anytime! Edited to add: The call center makes the appointments for all of their offices. If you called 2 hours (7:00 pm) before closing, on a Sunday evening and couldn’t get an appointment maybe you should’ve called earlier. Giving a business a one star review because you waited until they were booked and your wife couldn’t be seen is kind of ridiculous and in no way is an honest review of their services.

I woke up at 4am on a Saturday morning in extreme pain. I looked for a dentist that was open on Saturdays. I read the reviews and all the comments about Dr. Boyd and his staff. I was hoping this was my Dr. Boyd when I lived in another town and realized he had left my town. I made the appointment and was ( I know this is extreme) but teary eyed when i found out it was the same Dr. Boyd. He is a dentist that does take the time to discuss everything and options... he also listens to your concerns and welcomes questions. His staff is by far the best and very knowledgeable. My 5 stars are for Dr Boyd and his staff. Please note when you call for an appointment you aren't getting the front desk. You are getting a call center. This call center is terrible. I've called several times within working hours and I have to leave a message. Several times they don't call back and I've had to call them again. They have no sense of urgency even when I leave a detailed message of what I'm experiencing ( again, I'm leaving the message within working hours) I would strongly urge Emergency Dental of Colorado Springs to get their own phone system in house.

Lol,,,, the best dentist experience I’ve ever had. I felt like I knew them, we cut up the whole time. They made me feel comfortable in every way. Dr. Boyd was cool and made sure he done everything possible to keep me calm. After all the fun we had during a 4 wisdom tooth extraction I’ll be going back regularly. Can't thank this place enough. I'm a 23 year old college student living on my own so naturally dental insurance isn't on my budget of ramen and Netflix. But the day had come when my wisdom tooth was causing me to have screeching pain in my left ear. I called and explained my situation and they were more than patient enough to walk me through several options to get me treated. After taking X-Rays the Dr had told me my tooth was hooked to the nerves in my jaw and that he wanted me to see an oral surgeon to ensure I will be in the best of hands. After all is said and done I am headed to surgery tomorrow morning thanks to the referral of Dr. Boyd. If getting my Wisdom Tooth out doesn't kill me, finals next term will anyway. :)

While it is a bit pricey , the care and attention to your needs out weigh the cost. They do accept most insurances and offer other ways to cover your visit. The dentist him self is an amazing man , he is very attentive to your needs and will not nickel and dime you! If he feels there's something he can do to help , you better believe he will! As a recently "disgruntled" employee, the way this entire office is ran is horrible. They downgrade your insurance by 3% meaning you will pay way more than you are supposed to! The "director" is supposed to be the one in charge is very rude, will not give me the owners information to contact him. Always so shady and willing to make an extra buck. She gets to hire her niece kamara as front desk with no experience needed. No wonder there is lawsuits, favortism, bringing back horrible employees who have stole.

If I could leave 10 stars for care and kindness, I would. My fiancé visited last second on a Saturday night, had two front teeth pushed back from a freak accident, and the entire staff was ready and willing to help right away. We ended up staying 1 hour and 30 minutes past closing time and all four amazing staff members stayed with us and allowed my fiancé’s procedure to be taken care of fixed until it was done. I had an emergency that needed dental care right away. My mom called Dr. Boyd at 7:30 P.M on a Sunday night and he saw me the same day and stayed with me until 10:30. He was helpful, prompt, knowledgeable and compassionate throughout the whole experience. His assistant Isaac is also very awesome! This was the most amazing dental office I have ever been to. I had a tooth that was keeping me awake for days, I made one phone call and they got me in 30 minutes later. For one, you walk in and the office smells wonderful; it feels homey and makes you feel extremely comfortable. The staff makes you feel welcome automatically, they talk with you and try to distract you from your dental pain. They take you in a back room which still feels nothing like a dental office, big windows and nice wood floors and take all your xrays while chatting and making you laugh. Doctor Boyd then comes in to tell you what’s going on and instead of making you come back for a follow up, he’ll let you get what you need done right then and there because they care about your pain. No matter how scared you are in that chair the assistant will hold your hand if you need her to and doctor Boyd will tell you how amazing you’re doing the whole entire time. Dr. Boyd had worked on my husband's teeth a couple years before I went in to have my work done, and he was very happy with Dr. Boyd's care as well (Michael was his assistant at the time for that appointment, and he was great too). It was just "by chance" that I was blessed to have seen Dr. Boyd and Tara for my appointments too. I am very thankful for this team of consummate professionals and fantastic people. This review has been a long time coming and should have been posted quite a while back, but only because it's the first review I've ever written and I had a lot to say (obviously), I just did not get it done sooner. I give Dr. Boyd and Tara the highest recommendation I can possibly give, without a single reservation, to ANYONE AND EVERYONE who is looking for the best dentist and dental experience EVER!!! I cannot thank Emergency Dental of Colorado Springs enough!!! I was involved in a freak accident on a Saturday where 2 of my teeth in the front were knocked back. I was scared and didn't think I could ever get my normal smile back. Insert Tera, Kamara, Isaac, and Dr. Boyd. This team is the DREAM team. Their office was open at 7 pm on a Saturday and they were able to see me and realign my teeth. Not only are they skilled with dealing with teeth emergencies, but what makes them the ultimate dream team is their genuine care and concern for their patients. This team held my hand, helped me stay calm, talked to me, made me laugh, and made me feel confident that they could help. Staying an hour and a half after closing to help me, I will forever be thankful for this team!

Was seen here Sunday evening over Labor Day weekend. Sherry and Dr. Hammack were wonderful and explained everything to me about my problem. I have serious anxiety and was apprehensive about coming here because of the anxiety but I would come back here anytime! Edited to add: The call center makes the appointments for all of their offices. If you called 2 hours (7:00 pm) before closing, on a Sunday evening and couldn’t get an appointment maybe you should’ve called earlier. Giving a business a one star review because you waited until they were booked and your wife couldn’t be seen is kind of ridiculous and in no way is an honest review of their services.

I woke up at 4am on a Saturday morning in extreme pain. I looked for a dentist that was open on Saturdays. I read the reviews and all the comments about Dr. Boyd and his staff. I was hoping this was my Dr. Boyd when I lived in another town and realized he had left my town. I made the appointment and was ( I know this is extreme) but teary eyed when i found out it was the same Dr. Boyd. He is a dentist that does take the time to discuss everything and options... he also listens to your concerns and welcomes questions. His staff is by far the best and very knowledgeable. My 5 stars are for Dr Boyd and his staff. Please note when you call for an appointment you aren't getting the front desk. You are getting a call center. This call center is terrible. I've called several times within working hours and I have to leave a message. Several times they don't call back and I've had to call them again. They have no sense of urgency even when I leave a detailed message of what I'm experiencing ( again, I'm leaving the message within working hours) I would strongly urge Emergency Dental of Colorado Springs to get their own phone system in house.

Lol,,,, the best dentist experience I’ve ever had. I felt like I knew them, we cut up the whole time. They made me feel comfortable in every way. Dr. Boyd was cool and made sure he done everything possible to keep me calm. After all the fun we had during a 4 wisdom tooth extraction I’ll be going back regularly. I enjoyed talking and joking with Ms. Terra (hopefully I spelt it right) we had a lot in common which made the visit fun and less nerve wrecking. I would recommend them to everyone.

Can't thank this place enough. I'm a 23 year old college student living on my own so naturally dental insurance isn't on my budget of ramen and Netflix. But the day had come when my wisdom tooth was causing me to have screeching pain in my left ear. I called and explained my situation and they were more than patient enough to walk me through several options to get me treated. After taking X-Rays the Dr had told me my tooth was hooked to the nerves in my jaw and that he wanted me to see an oral surgeon to ensure I will be in the best of hands. After all is said and done I am headed to surgery tomorrow morning thanks to the referral of Dr. Boyd. If getting my Wisdom Tooth out doesn't kill me, finals next term will anyway. :)

When you're in pain , there's is no one better than Emergency Dental of Colorado springs! The staff is very friendly and will go above and beyond ro make sure your comfortable. While it is a bit pricey , the care and attention to your needs out weigh the cost. They do accept most insurances and offer other ways to cover your visit. The dentist him self is an amazing man , he is very attentive to your needs and will not nickel and dime you! If he feels there's something he can do to help , you better believe he will! I hate the dentist, just like most of us , but I will happily return to this facility any time I have a dental emergency! I am so grateful for all their help. As a recently "disgruntled" employee, the way this entire office is ran is horrible. They downgrade your insurance by 3% meaning you will pay way more than you are supposed to! The "director" is supposed to be the one in charge is very rude, will not give me the owners information to contact him. Always so shady and willing to make an extra buck. She gets to hire her niece kamara as front desk with no experience needed. No wonder there is lawsuits, favortism, bringing back horrible employees who have stole.

If I could leave 10 stars for care and kindness, I would. My fiancé visited last second on a Saturday night, had two front teeth pushed back from a freak accident, and the entire staff was ready and willing to help right away. We ended up staying 1 hour and 30 minutes past closing time and all four amazing staff members stayed with us and allowed my fiancé’s procedure to be taken care of fixed until it was done. Seriously, I never write google reviews but I HIGHLY recommend anyone to use EmergencyDental in the Springs whenever you have the need. Honestly this place is amazing. The staff were not only friendly and welcoming, but took care of me letting me know everything that was going to happen and what the expenses were. I had an emergency that needed dental care right away. My mom called Dr. Boyd at 7:30 P.M on a Sunday night and he saw me the same day and stayed with me until 10:30. This was the most amazing dental office I have ever been to. I had a tooth that was keeping me awake for days, I made one phone call and they got me in 30 minutes later. For one, you walk in and the office smells wonderful; it feels homey and makes you feel extremely comfortable. The staff makes you feel welcome automatically, they talk with you and try to distract you from your dental pain. They take you in a back room which still feels nothing like a dental office, big windows and nice wood floors and take all your xrays while chatting and making you laugh. Doctor Boyd then comes in to tell you what’s going on and instead of making you come back for a follow up, he’ll let you get what you need done right then and there because they care about your pain. No matter how scared you are in that chair the assistant will hold your hand if you need her to and doctor Boyd will tell you how amazing you’re doing the whole entire time. My daughter had to have an emergency root canal, and they were able to do it immediately after the diagnosis. She was so relaxed talking to Tera before the procedure. Before Dr Boyd began the procedure, he explained thoroughly what he would be doing and answered so many questions. It seemed strange that a 17 year old needed a root canal and I was skeptical of doing it on the spot. After discussing it, my anxieties went away and the procedure was seamless. Went in last Sunday at 6pm because I broke a tooth and had another one that needed to be extracted as well. Awesome staff and Dr Boyd made me feel at ease. Came in today for the extractions and let me tell you about the assistant Tara ( sorry if that’s the wrong spelling). It was her first day back after a few medical issues that she had back in December that I would say were probably life changing for her. She was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!!! She kept my Wife, daughter and I entertained and smiling the whole time. I’m pretty sure between Tara and Dr Boyd I even had a few little chuckles while they were pulling my teeth. That’s how great these guys are. I had zero pain, they walked me through everything and they even had great conversation that kept me entertained the whole time. My girlfriend Cassidy’s cap came off of her tooth this morning while she was at work and due to both of us being struggling 20 somethings I was ALSO at work and neither of us could financially afford to leave to take care of the tooth issue until the evening, so I was personally overjoyed that it was so easy for her to make an appointment and that the location was so convenient for us! My girlfriend has HORRIBLE anxiety related to the dentist and we were both really worried about this problem being more than just a cap falling off. Upon arriving we were greeted by a super friendly receptionist who helped alleviate a lot of Cassidy’s stress by chatting with us; the waiting is usually one of the hardest parts for her and it was great to feel like the time flew by before we went back to the office. It was really awesome of the staff to recognize and inquire about the situation more so that they didn’t even wonder whether or not I was going to accompany her, and it made her feel really comfortable. Tera was the assistant helping us once we got back there and she was OUTSTANDING. Attentive and thorough, sensitive to all of Cassidy’s concerns and discomforts, and one of the funniest women we’ve ever met. Once again, talking with her and cracking jokes to pass the time before the dentist came in made a world of difference and Cass said multiple times she had never been so relaxed in a dentist’s office, usually experiencing panic attacks or other severe anxiety symptoms. The location itself is inviting and comfortable and every staff member there tonight was lovely, helpful, kind, and still made it feel personal while maintaining professionalism about the technical aspects and everything like that. It was very impressive from the perspective of a concerned girlfriend who has heard prior horror stories of Cass’ experiences at the dentist to see her genuinely calm and feeling taken care of. We will definitely be back with any other dental concerns in the future, I can’t see a reason to go anywhere else. If I could remember everyone else’s name who was on staff I would list them as well but Tera stood out tonight at someone who genuinely cares about patients comfort, care, finances (she double checked everything to make sure she wouldn’t need to get a new cap etc.), and overall experience.

Went in last Sunday at 6pm because I broke a tooth and had another one that needed to be extracted as well. Awesome staff and Dr Boyd made me feel at ease. Came in today for the extractions and let me tell you about the assistant Tara ( sorry if that’s the wrong spelling). It was her first day back after a few medical issues that she had back in December that I would say were probably life changing for her. She was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!!! She kept my Wife, daughter and I entertained and smiling the whole time. I’m pretty sure between Tara and Dr Boyd I even had a few little chuckles while they were pulling my teeth. That’s how great these guys are. I had zero pain, they walked me through everything and they even had great conversation that kept me entertained the whole time. My girlfriend Cassidy’s cap came off of her tooth this morning while she was at work and due to both of us being struggling 20 somethings I was ALSO at work and neither of us could financially afford to leave to take care of the tooth issue until the evening, so I was personally overjoyed that it was so easy for her to make an appointment and that the location was so convenient for us! My girlfriend has HORRIBLE anxiety related to the dentist and we were both really worried about this problem being more than just a cap falling off. Upon arriving we were greeted by a super friendly receptionist who helped alleviate a lot of Cassidy’s stress by chatting with us; the waiting is usually one of the hardest parts for her and it was great to feel like the time flew by before we went back to the office. It was really awesome of the staff to recognize and inquire about the situation more so that they didn’t even wonder whether or not I was going to accompany her, and it made her feel really comfortable. Tera was the assistant helping us once we got back there and she was OUTSTANDING. Attentive and thorough, sensitive to all of Cassidy’s concerns and discomforts, and one of the funniest women we’ve ever met. Once again, talking with her and cracking jokes to pass the time before the dentist came in made a world of difference and Cass said multiple times she had never been so relaxed in a dentist’s office, usually experiencing panic attacks or other severe anxiety symptoms. The location itself is inviting and comfortable and every staff member there tonight was lovely, helpful, kind, and still made it feel personal while maintaining professionalism about the technical aspects and everything like that. It was very impressive from the perspective of a concerned girlfriend who has heard prior horror stories of Cass’ experiences at the dentist to see her genuinely calm and feeling taken care of. We will definitely be back with any other dental concerns in the future, I can’t see a reason to go anywhere else. If I could remember everyone else’s name who was on staff I would list them as well but Tera stood out tonight at someone who genuinely cares about patients comfort, care, finances (she double checked everything to make sure she wouldn’t need to get a new cap etc.), and overall experience.

Nobody enjoys a dental emergency. On Sunday morning 9am, the staff was extremely polite and comforting. I was very anxious about getting in the chair but I got through it without freaking. I had a tooth extracted by Dr Hammack. It was a stubborn tooth and I was in the chair a long time but he was as gentle as possible and did not rush through the procedure. He could have used brute force and been done with it quickly. but for my comfort, he took his time. A day after the procedure, I am healing well and the pain is quickly subsiding. The fees charged to me where right on par with a non-emergency visit elsewhere. I expected to be over-charged at an emergency dentist on a Sunday but I left feeling like I received great care for a fair price. I made an appointment to return for a routine exam in a few weeks. I highly recommend this dental office.

Got a same day appointment on a Sunday. Services were provided the same day as well, which makes this place incredible. Dr.Hammack, Tera (the dental assistant), and the front desk receptionist were amazing. They have excellent people skills, make you feel comfortable, they do not judge you on the situation, and just find a resolution. If you do come in outside of normal business hours just be aware that insurance cannot be verified, so you will have to pay up front, and then be reimbursed later on through your insurance company. I would recommend them.... I have been waitinng 3 months for a reimbursement check from their billing department. The billing department people are rude and do not follow through on your requests or concerns, and because of that I am moving the 5 star rating I gave the staff down to a 2 star rating.

I was was on vacation and my dentist is in Miami. It was Sunday afternoon and I was in severe pain and pretty desperate since I did not know anybody in Colorado Springs. Dr. Boyd and his team are the best. i went in after i crushed a filling so deep into my tooth, that it forced my tooth to split. the best part, same day care. my tooth was pulled. i was given options to determine the best course of treatment. i was also consulted on my chipped tooth and how emergency dental would repair the tooth that peak vista dental failed to do. if you use peak vista dental, RUN!!! Get out of that place with all the teeth have left and go see DR. Boyd, Isaac (dental assistant), Terra (dental assistant) and Kamara (receptionist). Dr. Boyd, Tera and Nakeeta explain everything throughly, move slow and actually acknowledge when I feel pain. I've had 3 appointments with them and if it's possible my experience gets better each time. I couldn't recommend this place more!!

Staff there was amazing and so caring! My son chipped his front tooth and has very bad anxiety about dentist the Dr helped calm him down and reassure him that he was ok!! They did a great great job and his tooth is good as new! I highly recommend this place!!!!

I ended up here because it was all I could find open on a Sunday within 50 miles of me, and I'm so glad I did. The staff was very friendly from start to finish. I don't know what other dental rates are, but I did expect to pay more for an emergency dental issue on a Sunday. I'm still not a fan of going to the dentist, but the assistant, Tera, did everything she could to make me feel as comfortable as possible.

Dr. Boyd is the man. If you have anything tooth related going on go see him! I have had the WORST experience at Comfort Dental aswell as others and have been terrified of going to the dentist ever sense. Dr Boyd is honest straight forward, and made me feel 100% better about my situation. His assistants are amazing to the whole stuff is phenomenal. Get up in there!

Dr. Gilmer, Nakeeta, and Isaac are the dream team. Who else is open on a Saturday and can do a root canal under 2 hours? I had the worst pain imaginable and I went in there and they took care of it right away and made me feel tight at home. I will be going here for all my dental needs just because of how amazing my trip there today was.

Nobody enjoys a dental emergency. On Sunday morning 9am, the staff was extremely polite and comforting. I was very anxious about getting in the chair but I got through it without freaking. I had a tooth extracted by Dr Hammack. It was a stubborn tooth and I was in the chair a long time but he was as gentle as possible and did not rush through the procedure. He could have used brute force and been done with it quickly. but for my comfort, he took his time. A day after the procedure, I am healing well and the pain is quickly subsiding. The fees charged to me where right on par with a non-emergency visit elsewhere. I expected to be over-charged at an emergency dentist on a Sunday but I left feeling like I received great care for a fair price. I made an appointment to return for a routine exam in a few weeks. I highly recommend this dental office.

After having severe pain, I called to see Dr. Boyd and was able to get in right away. Dr. Boyd was very informative with the procedure and very professional. I came to this place last minute when I was having tooth pain and the service was excellent! It was fairly cheap compared to other places. Also they have convient hours. The entire team is super friendly and ready to help! This place beats comfort dental! I would recommend it to anyone!!

Got a same day appointment on a Sunday. Services were provided the same day as well, which makes this place incredible. Dr.Hammack, Tera (the dental assistant), and the front desk receptionist were amazing. They have excellent people skills, make you feel comfortable, they do not judge you on the situation, and just find a resolution. If you do come in outside of normal business hours just be aware that insurance cannot be verified, so you will have to pay up front, and then be reimbursed later on through your insurance company. I would recommend them.... I have been waitinng 3 months for a reimbursement check from their billing department. The billing department people are rude and do not follow through on your requests or concerns, and because of that I am moving the 5 star rating I gave the staff down to a 2 star rating.

I was was on vacation and my dentist is in Miami. It was Sunday afternoon and I was in severe pain and pretty desperate since I did not know anybody in Colorado Springs. I googled this clinic and just walked in without even calling for an appointment. Nakeeta and Kamara were very helpful with my paperwork and I did not have to wait long to be seen by Dr. Boyd. His assistant Tera was an angel and put me at ease. They are very professional, but also caring. I had to get my tooth extracted but it was not painful at all. I highly recommend this clinic.

We scheduled an appointment with this place for a broken tooth, and we were told an appointment time of 11am. We arrived on time and filled out paperwork. They finally called him back an hour later! The fee to be seen is expensive and unnecessary. I'd recommend somewhere else.

i am on my wife's google account but this review still needs to get dropped. my Name is Dominik Dubbel. If you hate the dentist or only go when your in pain, your in luck. Dr. Boyd and his team are the best. i went in after i crushed a filling so deep into my tooth, that it forced my tooth to split. the best part, same day care. my tooth was pulled. i was given options to determine the best course of treatment. i was also consulted on my chipped tooth and how emergency dental would repair the tooth that peak vista dental failed to do. if you use peak vista dental, RUN!!! Get out of that place with all the teeth have left and go see DR. Boyd, Isaac (dental assistant), Terra (dental assistant) and Kamara (receptionist). Also want to Note: if you happen to notice Isaac when he is wearing a face mask. he looks sorta like Dr. Smoothie From the show "Happy" on Netflix. thank you very much you guys and gals at Emergency dental of Colorado springs.

Dr Boyd and the staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. Went in with a nasty abscess and within a couple hours I am on my way to recovery. Also, dont let the name fool you, they are a lot more than an Emergency Clinic. They provide normal dentistry services on top of being available on Sunday morning. Highly recommend!

THE best dental experience we’ve had. My daughter is terrified of the dentist and they helped ease her through a root canal with no issues. They are so so kind and gentle and created such a safe space for my daughter. We will not be going anywhere else!
