Absolutely atrocious billing practices. If they make a billing mistake, which they very often do, they make it the responsibility of the patient to appeal to the insurance. The lady I spoke with stated that its not Cleveland Clinic's responsibility to correct a claim is the patient. This is horrible practice as they need to be liable for their mistake, not me. Now I much appeal with my insurance for something that is covered because they made a mistake on the claim. STAY FAR AWAY IF POSSIBLE!!!!!!!
