Extremely friendly staff, and very professional. As soon as I was greeted , I felt at ease. The office is very clean and modern. They have all the latest technology and everyone seems very skilled at what they do. Dr Ricks is very nice and developed a plan to get my teeth and gums healthier. He explained everything very thoroughly. This week I had the dreaded “deep clean” done and it was a walk in the park. The hygenienist, Suzi, expressed genuine concern for my comfort all the way through the process and I could not believe how painless it was. It wasn’t even uncomfortable. She is really friendly and funny and kept me so engaged with what she was saying that I forgot that I was even having the cleaning done. If you are like me and have extreme anxiety issues with going to the dentist, you need nitrous before every procedure, then this is the place for you. The level of customer service from the point of scheduling all the way through to billing is top notch!

They put me on the waiting list and I got a couple calls the same day with openings and was able to get in. I had THE BEST and MOST COMFORTABLE cleaning I’ve EVER had by Suzie, that alone makes me not want to go anywhere else ever again. Priscilla at the front desk made sure all my paperwork/insurance/etc were in line and even did a small favor for me that she really didn’t need to do—above and beyond! And of course, Dr. Ricks is extremely kind and thorough. He also was great about educating me on some things I hadn’t considered to avoid future cavities. Thanks guys!

I have had two visits here so far. The staff is very friendly and down to earth. They all are extremely knowledgeable, yet great listeners. Although I don't have any kids, this is a place you should want to bring your whole family. They accommodate people of all ages and personality types. I went in because I have muscle and joint pain in my jaw. I saw Dr. Blatter both times and he is not only the best dentist I've ever had, but the most knowledgeable, and the type of person that will go above and beyond to make sure your problems are fully understood by everybody and fully addressed. I'm sure Dr. Ricks is equally noteworthy!

If you are terrified of going to the dentist, Read This! I hadn't been to the dentist in many years because of my fear. Several months ago, I began searching for a dentist nearby and I started investigating this one because they have such great reviews. I regularly visited their website and read all new reviews for several months and then finally drove over to check them out for myself. They were so extremely nice and nonjudgmental that I actually made an appointment before I left. The next day, I got a call that they had an opening for that same day so I was able to get in the very next day instead of stressing about it for a week! Literally every single person I came into contact with in this office (both times) was super nice and so encouraging and understanding of my over-the-top fear. They were extremely patient with me and explained every single thing before they did it. Since it was just a checkup, there was no pain but they were still very slow and patient when walking me through the appointment. Several of them even came to check on me when I was waiting by myself for the dentist to get to me. If only I had found this place years ago, my situation would have turned out differently and MUCH less expensive than my limited options are now. I would have been able to make myself go in regularly and my options would have been greatly increased. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. I will forever be grateful for the kindness and patience they showed me and I will definitely go back! Thank you so much!!!

If you are terrified of going to the dentist, Read This! I hadn't been to the dentist in many years because of my fear. Several months ago, I began searching for a dentist nearby and I started investigating this one because they have such great reviews. I regularly visited their website and read all new reviews for several months and then finally drove over to check them out for myself. They were so extremely nice and nonjudgmental that I actually made an appointment before I left. The next day, I got a call that they had an opening for that same day so I was able to get in the very next day instead of stressing about it for a week! Literally every single person I came into contact with in this office (both times) was super nice and so encouraging and understanding of my over-the-top fear. They were extremely patient with me and explained every single thing before they did it. Since it was just a checkup, there was no pain but they were still very slow and patient when walking me through the appointment. Several of them even came to check on me when I was waiting by myself for the dentist to get to me. If only I had found this place years ago, my situation would have turned out differently and MUCH less expensive than my limited options are now. I would have been able to make myself go in regularly and my options would have been greatly increased. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. I will forever be grateful for the kindness and patience they showed me and I will definitely go back! Thank you so much!!!

As far as procedures go, they were fine and on par with any other dentistry. However they do not know how to deal with your insurance company. I went in for a root canal and had them triple check, that I would only owe this set amount and the insurance would cover it. I told them I'm would not do the procedure unless they covered it. They assured me, repeatedly, that they would so I did. 5 months later they come back telling me it wasn't covered and I owe an additional $760 on top of what I already had paid. They were completely unwilling to work with me on this and made me pay it. I would not recommend using them or any of their sister companies. They simply do not know how to work with insurance companies.

Didn't get any of my issues resolved. There was one in particular: I had a bleeding gum and came to see a doc there twice. Both times he and his assistant said it happens and I just have to brush my teeth better. I went to another dentist and she immediately identified that I had a cracked filling which was injuring the gum every time I took a bite. Something that took me half an hour to get fixed took a year of bleeding because I believed the dentist in this clinic. But what else do you do when a DOCTOR tells you TWICE that there's no problem... UPDATE: I use an alias for my reviews, but this is a correct office.

Aurora Family Dentistry has gone to length in order to make me feel comfortable while receiving procedure. I am very nervous at the dentist office and have quite a bit of anxiety. This dental group has taken the time to ensure my comfort by administering nitrus correctly, by educating me clearly and without condescension, as well as by talking me through everything that was being discussed as well as planned and done. If you are as I am with negative previous experiences at the dentist, and/or with unpleasant discomfort in thinking about and begin at the dental office, I suggest your head this way and though they are not very flexible on offering payment plans, they will serve you well.
