It's the worst dental experience ever...stuff is rood n stupid, doctors don't care, receptionists don't care, I cancelled all my ensuranse approval after few bad experiences with this office. Don't go there if u have other options.they don't know what they doing. At all.

So no, nothing came up, there were no surprises...this was a routine first visit

Pat is the most unprofessional, passive aggressive, and deplorable supervisors I have ever witnessed in my entire life. She does not care about her patients, and does not do her job effectively. She continuously makes excuses for the mistakes of her staff, rather than reprimanding them. I have made several Complaints about the unacceptable work ethic and she just sweeps it under the rug. I don’t even understand how she got the position of a supervisor, because when things hit the fan she gets nasty with you and acts like it’s none of her business. She then bad mouthed the patients when she makes a mistake.

The worst dental experience that I can remember. The walls and floor and equipment were all dirty and old. There were no digital xrays or computers (which I haven't seen in 10 plus years). And xrays were taken while I sat in a regular office chair?! Who does that. Then I had specifically requested being in the room with my husband and vice versa and that's why our appointments were one after another. But they took us at the same time and said they never told me that. As if I imagined it all. Now here comes the cleaning part. The hygienist was so rough that she was literally jabbing me with the equipment like she was in a rush and every second of it hurt. When I complained, she says its because my gums are infected. But the dentist who examined me right after that, said no, my gums are perfectly fine. Oh and water was splashing and spilling all over my neck; she's supposed to be suctioning as she goes along. After we were done, our teeth didn't feel any cleaner than if we had done it ourselves at home. She didn't even floss my teeth after the cleaning (which I've always had done at other places). The only good part was the actual dentist. She was nice and thorough and even sat at the front desk with us while the insurance person looked up prices. Needless to say, we're not going back there. oh another thing I just realized is they didn't even give us a toothbrush, floss, or mouthwash to take home. If anything, that's supposed to be a given.

I had my 6 month checkup yesterday and I couldn't have been more pleased. The staff is friendly and efficient. Leroy was the dental hygienist and he did a great job and has a pleasant demeanor which helped keep me calm during the process.

I have to say I was so impressed with this office. I don't have the best insurance, but they worked with me and really helped with the process. Charlene is super nice in front and the manager even went out of her way to explain everything about the insurance and the procedure. It's not easy to find good medical offices that are both friendly and knowledgeable, but this is one of them. In fact, I'm thinking of getting my teeth whitened just because they do such s good job and are a pleasure to work with. Thank you American Dental! I recommended you to all my coworkers.

Despite my unrealistic fear of dental work, I agreed to both a cleaning and a couple fillings after being recommended here by a friend, and I couldn’t be happier! The staff is sweet and friendly, and the doctor is amazing at what he does. I didn’t feel an ounce of pain or discomfort, a pleasant experience unlike anything I have ever experienced at another dentists office. I still have a couple fillings yet to do, and I must say, I’m not even dreading my reunion with Mr.Whistle or Mr.Bumpy, proof that this place rocks!

She also has learned to call me an hour before my appointment bc im a busy forgetful person! The office environment is very clean and the staff is super professional, courteous and easy to get along with. Doc knows his teeth and is an undercover Captain America in his spare time. Receptionist acted all ghetto telling me they didn't get any information faxed from my ins.. sorry miss if you feel obligated to work. I will not be going back, customer service? NOT! I bet stiffs are treated better. What a horrible waste of my time. I will be extremly happy to pay a cab in Jersey for a 30 min ride to a dentist there, then return to this place. Took my 11yr old son for a cleaning, waited over 1 hr and was seen by the doctor less than 10mins. They took x-rays & put flouride. Did not remove plaque or tartar which is basic teeth cleaning. Will not recommend or return. Please AVOID! When I asked if they will remove the tartar, the doctor asked me "Do you want to do this?" & Offered her instruments. Very unprofessional! Well, I had to buy instruments & clean his teeth after...bad attitude, worse service. The worse part is they are charging my insurance when they didn't do much.

The place looked like an abandoned building, and my X-rays were taken in a closet. The staff seemed nice but a little clueless. They called me three times to confirm one appointment. That set off a red flag right away and almost made me cancel. Dr. Gatti has the personality of a handball and although I feel as though I was properly diagnosed, a little bedside manner never hurts. He was colder that the North Pole. I've had many cleanings over the years and they usually take 30-40 minutes, this guy was done in 10, which sounds like a rush job to me. The cracks in the warped floors, no doors on the rooms and exposed electrical outlets weren't appreciated either. As you can probably guess, there won't be a second visit.

Dentist cracked my tooth while replacing filling, a chunk broke off when I got home. Went back and he started drilling again, hit a nerve twice. Requested another dentist. The 2nd dentist says i now need root canal and a crown, was grinding down the replacement filling, excruciating now that tooth is cracked. Tells me to drink liquids for a month until the insurance approval comes through. Wish I never let them touch my mouth.

came in for cleaning. They literally cleaned for 5 minutes. a much more thorough cleaning is done at home with just a toothbrush and floss. They only used a water rinse and smeared one stroke of flouride across my teeth and had me rinse with mouthwash. They told me i had two tiny cavities forming that they could fix in 15 minutes, so I let them. I’m trying not to be suspicious but the filling broke in half and fell out within a week and now I’m back on my 2nd hour in waiting room waiting for it to be corrected.

I don't normally write bad reviews but this was the worst experience I have ever had at a medical provider. I went in for a cleaning and general checkup. The office itself is very dinky and unorganized with people and papers everywhere. I got there at 10:30 on the dot for a 10:30 appointment and I got xrays done after waiting in the waiting room for 20 minutes. Then they sent me back to the waiting room and I waited another 20-30 minutes till I saw a doctor who checked my xrays and teeth and told me everything was fine. Then they sent me back to the waiting room and told me that I'd be helped shortly by a dental hygienist who would do my cleaning. I waited 15-20 more minutes and by this time it was 11:45am. I asked someone when they I'd be next and she told me it would be around ONE HOUR more because two people were ahead of me and their water was not working properly. She told me I could wait or reschedule my appointment but since I'd already been there for 1 hour and 15 minutes (not to mention travel time), I'd decided to wait it out. About 45 minutes later I went up to make sure they'd be able to take me in 15 minutes but the lady seemed unsure and said she will check and let me know. She never came back to let me know. Finally, someone came to me around 12:50 and let me know that they're not sure when they'd be able to take me. I just walked out right there after wasting my entire morning. I urge everyone to find a different dentist. There are plenty of options in the surrounding area and you don't need to settle for this place! Two days later they even sent me an email thanking me for coming in for the appointment. I really hope they did not report this checkup to my health insurance...

I was really apprehensive after reading all the reviews. My experience was not nearly so negative. I came in and was seen by the person taking my x-rays within 10 minutes. After my X-rays I was brought to a room to wait to seen by the dentist. I waited for 20 minutes and then someone had me come in to another room for my cleaning, and then after my cleaning i went back to the first room and was seen by the dentist within 5-10 minutes. The initial 20 minute wait was a little frustrating but otherwise things went pretty smoothly. The dentist was nice and knowledgeable and everyone else I dealt with was friendly enough. I used my insurance so I didn't have to pay anything on the spot. This place isn't the best dentist office out there, but if it's in your insurance plan it's ok and my experience wasn't bad at all.

The office is located in a shady corner of a small non-popular small shopping mall. you probably don't want to go there after dark. from the outside, it looks like it is a 3rd world country building. It is really contradictory to the office's name. I arrived there on time, there was ONLY ONE patient, and a few dental assistants. I only wanted to get a regular cleaning which was offered free under my dental plan. It could be done by the assistant easily. but they didn't do anything, they just kept me waiting for about an hour long for nothing! During that wait, there was no new patients coming, the office was not busy at all. That surely will tell you something about that office. when i finally saw the dentist, he wanted me to do a deep cleaning which will cost hundreds of dollars. (My second dentist didn't suggest this at all.) I refused him. so he gave up, and told me that he will do the prophylaxis. i have done several basic cleanings before, they usually take at least 20 minutes. you will be amazed about how "efficient" this dentist is. he used one of his polishing tool, put on the cleaning material, he brushed my teeth it in less than 3 minutes which I sometimes brush my teeth longer than that! Then he told me to go to the bathroom to rinse my teeth. I was kind of confused, I thought that he wanted to do something else after that. that was the end of his cleaning! So of course, I will never go back to his office ever again. I should give him 0 star, because he didn't service me properly at all.

I have been four times, twice for cleanings, once for a filling, and once to get my wisdom teeth out. Mostly everyone was very friendly, the equipment was up to date, I was seen fairly quickly, and I actually healed from my surgery in record time with minimal pain (my last wisdom teeth experience was horrible at another dentist). Cleanings were fairly pain-free, the staff joked and smiled a lot, and they took time to explain how I can better care for my teeth outside of the office. This place isn't the lap of luxury, but it's affordable and professional, and I felt well cared for and calm. I did have a problem with a receptionist when trying to figure out an appointment (she got a little snippy with me over something that was her fault), and a few times I was treated a little curtly by the busy staff (not rude), but most of the folks I've dealt with have been really great (and hey, we all have those days, right?) Keep in mind that a LOT of people work here. Some of them are awesome, others I could pass on. Either way, I'd recommend this place if you are busy and on a budget - if you're not... go somewhere else. One tip: the temperature in this place is COLD, especially in the summer. Bring a sweatshirt if you're going to be there for a little while.

Cheryl gave my teeth a cleaning; and, she did it with style and kindness. She gave suggestions on I could better maintain my teeth. She's a very nice person. She also asked if the cap that had been put the last time was ok, and if I needed to see my regular dentist, Dr Rouse, a real pro, for anything. I said I was good. The office was extremely busy because there was a specialist in that day and a lot of kids were there. But Janet the other staff members up front kept the place in control.

The worst experience I ever had at a dentist office , form the minute I walked in I was received with the most rude and nasty secretary screaming at me that my insurance was not accepted when I had called the day before and they took all my info and I was good to go . The technician that took my X-ray was the only pleasant one . I was seen by Dr . Shah she spend less than 10 minutes with me didn’t even took the time to check my teeth or ask me questions she just look at my x ray and said I needed to retreat my root canal and that they don’t provide the service and I should look for someone else , rush me out and told me she will prescribe an antibiotic in the meantime . I had to chase after her to ask her questions after I recover from the news . Finally the receptionist continued to be the rudest and I walked out of there totally disappointed and more pain than I walked in . Avoid this practice if you can !

This place makes me scared for people who come here on the regular. Only went once when I had my insurance changed and I'm never going back. I get seen 25 minutes after my appointment time. Usually I would think that's actually pretty good, timing wise, but I was the first appointment of the day and there was no one else there. I'm used to a certain routine when going for a routine dental cleaning and exam. Usually you go in, get x-rayed, get a dental cleaning from the assistant, the dentist comes in and asks if there are any issues, the dentist does an exam and some spot checking on the cleaning, you go over the x-rays and any further action is recommended. I will freely admit that I am used to certain level of care and compassion when dealing with my mouth. This was not my experience here. The dentist, Dr. Ibrahim, came in immediately and asked if there were any issues. I mentioned my implant and some site specific sensitivity I was feeling. He proceeded to clean out my tartar in THE MOST EXCRUCIATING WAY I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. At one point I stopped him because I was shaking and crying, but he dismissed me by saying I was just sensitive to the cold water. At no point did he check in, even when I convulsed from pain. Then, he gave me an incomplete brushing (he didn't get my upper right side AT ALL) and then proceeded to give me a lecture about how my gums are receding because I'm brushing wrong. I know I have receding gums but have NEVER heard of it being caused by "pushing the gums down with the brush." Am I crazy for thinking that's crazy? When I confronted him about this and the incomplete cleaning, he said if I wanted a deep clean I needed to find a specialist because they "weren't allowed" to do anything else. He was very dismissive and made no attempt to help me follow up. He also failed to mention anything about my teeth grinding or fillings which are usually the first things dentists ask about when they examine me. I admit I didn't mention them to him myself, but the fact that he didn't saying anything when the past 3 dentists I've been to mention those issues immediately makes me think he's either incompetent or lazy. I don't care which. I'm never going back.

If you have dental insurance and have any other option for a dentist, GO ELSEWHERE. This place is staffed with mostly incompetent people and the corporate office is only interested in making money off of their patients. They are breaking the law to do this. HIPAA regulations state that patients must be allowed to access their medical records for a reasonable fee that may include the cost of copying, yet this place refuses to digitally send DIGITAL X-RAYS and charges $25 to print out your digital x-rays with their low-quality office printer. When I scheduled an appointment with a different dental practice, they were outraged about this. There seemed to be one receptionist who everyone else deferred to and who knew what she was doing, but even she scheduled me for an appointment at a time when the dental hygienist wouldn't be in the office! A different receptionist called me 2 days before my appointment saying the dentist wouldn't be in so could I come in the next day for an exam. When I got to the office the next morning, I was told, after waiting 45 minutes, that I had no appointment and they had no idea why someone would have called me. That's also when I found out that my original scheduled appointment could not take place. By then the next option was two weeks out. During my wait I witnessed the dentist on staff fumbling and unable to recall where he put someones dentures that had been left there. If you have any other choice, take it and don't give your business to these incompetent, law-breaking scammers.

simple things like cleanings are good.the two stars is for the person who cleaned them. but when the receptionist have to contact your insurance for things they will tell you they've done it, when they really haven't. For over a month i've been waiting to get a crown (which they were supposed to contact my insurance company for). They were super busy when i was there, so i tried to be patient and not hassle them with phone calls. I call my insurance to see what the hold up is just now and they tell me they haven't been contacted at all. not cool.

Incredible experience with Dr Wietholder and staff. Visits are always smooth friendly and comforting. I have always been apprehensive about dental visits, until I went to Dr Wietholder! He is obviously knowledgeable, but still explains everything in a way I can understand. I am glad he is younger, because I plan on sticking with his practice for a long time. I have complete trust in him! Highly recommended! It's also an honor to have a dentist that has served his country in the 82nd Airborne!!!

He sits in a room and just lays on a chair and sleep... the guy that takes the xtrays curses like crazy while examining your mouth. Once you get there they will want to pull your teeth out. The ladies at the front desk( Deliana and Elisa) were really helpful, which was much appreciated as this was my first time at a new dentist office and I was worried about unexpected costs ect. I signed up for the dental plan and the prices were low and affordable. The dental hygienist Nick did X-rays was warm and kind. The dentists themselves were also professional. Overall a great experience after being nervous about being able to afford dental work.

If you are assigned to this place via your dental insurance DO NOT ACCEPT IT! Change it or prepare for a royally jacked up experience. In my 30+ years of going to dentists I've never had such a horrible unprofessional botched up experience than I've had (repeatedly) at this place. The first visit I was there nearly 3 hours waiting, part of which was because the dentist went to lunch and didn't tell the receptionists. Annoying, but fine, I'll come back. Came back for them to fix my loose temporary crown, and they somehow jacked that up because it cracked within 2 weeks. Okay fine, gave them another pass because the temp was old. Came back a third time to get a new temp and schedule a real crown visit and here's where it went left. The tech took 2 tries to make a mold of my teeth (and somehow hurt my mouth in the process). I even told her it hurt and she said "I need to make this mold" She apparently still got it wrong because the "dentist" had to come in and make another one. He then makes the new temp, shaves it down and sends me on my way. I look at myself in the mirror on the way out and realize I have plaster all over my face. Who does that? Who lets you walk out of your chair with white crap all over your face without offering to wipe it off, or at least a tissue? Here's the kicker. The temp crown had a hole in the top within 3 days, and cracked all the way in half a day later (Christmas Eve mind you). So on Christmas I'm left with an exposed post and trying to eat on one side of my mouth. Oh and it cracked on salad. A SALAD. Which means the whole thing was botched from the beginning, he shaved it down too far, and the whole thing was borderline malpractice. These fools said I have a cavity but I wouldn't DARE go back and let them drill into my tooth! Run from this place as fast as you can. From the staff to the "dentists@ It's clearly run by all the dental school D students. Everything from their actual work to their attitudes are piss poor and it's a shame that people with less than stellar health insurance have to deal with such a horrible place.

I only wanted to get a regular cleaning which was offered free under my dental plan. It could be done by the assistant easily. but they didn't do anything, they just kept me waiting for about an hour long for nothing! During that wait, there was no new patients coming, the office was not busy at all. That surely will tell you something about that office. when i finally saw the dentist, he wanted me to do a deep cleaning which will cost hundreds of dollars. (My second dentist didn't suggest this at all.) I refused him. so he gave up, and told me that he will do the prophylaxis. i have done several basic cleanings before, they usually take at least 20 minutes. you will be amazed about how "efficient" this dentist is. he used one of his polishing tool, put on the cleaning material, he brushed my teeth it in less than 3 minutes which I sometimes brush my teeth longer than that! Then he told me to go to the bathroom to rinse my teeth. I was kind of confused, I thought that he wanted to do something else after that. that was the end of his cleaning! So of course, I will never go back to his office ever again. I should give him 0 star, because he didn't service me properly at all.

Nice enough people but would definitely.m not recommend and I won’t come back. Arrived 5 minutes early to fill out paperwork. Easy enough. Relatively quickly was called back for x-rays. However it took 50 minutes to be called back for my teeth cleaning. Cleaner was nice but only took 10 minutes to clean when it should really be a much more thorough 30+ minutes and include flossing, fluoride, etc. Facility is a little grimy and could use a good cleaner, painter, and refurb.

This was the absolute worse service that I have ever encountered. The staff did not have any knowledge of the procedures. They seemed young, dumb and unaware of anything besides scheduling appointments. They acted as if they were fairly new, and did not train very well for dealing with patients or people in general. There was even a dentist there (a black woman) and even she did not have any idea about the required referral process. She was very rude, distasteful, and just plain ratchet. I would not recommend American Dental to anybody. The staff there is under experienced and clueless and that is something that would piss off any patient.

I had a truly appalling and horrible experience here. I had a 9am appointment, and was not seen until 1030am. When I was seen, the cleaning took 10 minutes and was half-assed. I wasn't even visited by a dentist, only technicians, and she didn't even brush or floss my teeth. The whole time I was worrying that the equipment in my mouth wasn't clean. Facility was dirty, dingy, and staff was cool. I am going to reschedule another dental appointment with a different dentist because I don't even feel like my teeth were cleaned. I have been going to the W 30th St location in Chelsea for ongoing work. My last visit was an emergency. I had been in sudden pain for a few hours and suspected I cracked a molar. I could not wait until my appt 2 days after, so I showed up and one of the office staff informed me that for future emergencies I needed to show up before 2PM (no joke - but would they seriouly deny an emergency case?) Luckily for me, I got seen without any friction between me and the staff. The dentist that examined me was brief though. He found an infection on the xrays, prescribed pain meds and antibiotics attributing all my discomfort to the infection. I got referred for 2 root canals with an appointment that was over 2 weeks away, since they were booked for a while. The pain still continued so I payed another dentist elsewhere an emergency visit. (I wasn't going back to AD!) This new dentist dropped his schedule to make room for my emergency, he listened to me attentively, actually found the crack, did my 2 root canals, and prescribed more effective meds all in one sitting. That was the type of care I originally expected. Finally, the pain was finally gone. After my experience at the American Dental office, my new dentist elsewhere is a sure keeper! This AD office could benefit from training in better customer and patient care. Patients come first, especially if it's an emergency case...always. In addition, since the office environment impacts patient experience, I suggest foul language between employees (in all languages) be left out of the office. Mindfulness needs to be given especially considering the culturally diverse community being served.

For a while, I had a poor dental plan and this was one of the only places in Manhattan that would accept my insurance. Unfortunately, it is (at best) staffed by incompetent dentists and (at worst) a scam operation. I was given four fillings, two of which had to replaced by a competent dentist and two which I was told probably did not need to be done in the first place. The dentist was rude and dismissive (notwithstanding that I barely asked any questions, turned up on time and otherwise was a model patient). The hygienist was OK.

I had my first appointment at American Dental back in October. I had my mouth examined and proceeded to cleaning. I’d like everything. The staff service and the queing even there was a long wait of course that happens especially that day there were a lot of patients. One thing that I was really disappointed was the attending lady who did my teeth for cleaning. I was really traumatized cause she literally murdered my gums. I was bleeding the whole procedure. I didn’t cry but she saw me struggling and in so much pain. I even told her. Her response was because I don’t floss that its the reason why it was bleeding. I always floss and that’s not the case. I was bleeding cause she keeps hitting my gums with her hook (the cleaning thing) it is metal and kinda sharp designed for removing plaque or dirt in the teeth not for hooking the gums. My teeth doesnt even really need a lot of work cause I go to dentist regularly. Today 04/24. I had my second time appointment after 6 mos. 2 weeks ago was originally my sched but when I learned that there’s actually another person who cleans I immediately rebook my appointment. And today I had my teeth cleaned without lacerations and chopped gums. Thanks to that guy. I forgot his name.

I was seeing a dentist at kings highway location that I have been with for years but his old office closed and he relocated to this facility. He made me suffer with a tooth ache, insisting that a root canal was my only option or an extraction. My insurance doesn't cover molar root canals which I learned after authorization was denied, I filed an appeal which was denied as well and the office manager at this location was aware that medicaid does not cover that procedure. She was very unprofessional and hung up on me, the doctor declared "I'm just an employee here" after I returned to the office to consult with him and their behavior was disgusting. It ended up being that I had a big cavity and a root canal was last resort, if necessary. The dentist that did the re-evaluation works at the Caton Avenue site and was very professional in addressing my concerns and created a treatment plan for my teeth. I would recommend him to everyone and I will report Dr. Ibrahim to the Dentist Association along with the office manager because they allowed me to suffer and made it seem like paying $400 for the root canal, same price for Medicaid was "doing me a favor" as per the office manager, who should not be managing the staff when she needs to learn professional mannerism and English etiquette.

I arrived at 2:40pm for a 2:45 appointment, I wasn't seen by the dentist until a bit after 3:30. The dentist and his assistant were very friendly, no complaints there. However, I felt that the receptionists were a bit rude. I'm not sure if they were annoyed about something, or if they were just too caught up in their daily routine to think about being friendly. When I was leaving, the dentist came out to ask the receptionist if she could give me a referral and, without even looking up from her desk, her exact response to him was "I don't write referrals". The dentist had to stand there and write it up himself, which he did gladly. To sum it up, I think time management and customer service could definitely be improved on. **EDIT: Quick Update, I went back for a follow up appointment and the customer service at the reception desk definitely improved from my previous visit. Also I was seen within 15 minutes of arrival. Haven't been there enough to redact my initial statement, but I definitely left there a happier customer the second time around!

The people working at the front desk will give you an appointment for a certain time and put a totally different time in the computer. The time will be off by hours. When you confront them about it, they lie through their teeth to make it seem like you forgot your own appointment. Your actual appointment can also be pushed back by several hours at random. One day when I arrived for my dental work, they told me I was already checked in. Turns out they checked in a guy under my name and he was just about to go in and receive MY procedure! Thank God for him I walked in at the right time. Now that is unacceptable! The front desk assistants should be replaced with more competent people. They are extremely irritating. One more problem with them and I am done with American Dental for good!

Awful experience. I do not know if I will be returning. I reside in NJ & was told by my general dentist that I needed to see a "prostodontist". He gave me a list of options, all located in NY & told me to call one of them to see if they could help me with my issue. I called American Dental, asked to make an appointment with the "PROSTODONTIST". I was told they're was parking available, I left my home at 11, so that I could arrive at my 12 o'clock appointment. I got there at 11:55, however it took me 30 minutes to find parking. Where the heck is the "parking in the back" I was told about?! I get there at 12:30 & explained the situation to the clerk, she coldy told me that I will not be seen until 2 p.m because doctor is at lunch. So, I waited 2 whole hours only to eventually find out that the prostodontist was not even in the office!! I made it to the chair as I was prepped to see the disinterested female general dentist who I saw walk past. They already took full mouth xrays, so I wanted an explanation. All the clerk did was chastise me for not being more detailed when I was booking the appointment. Also told me I might be charged for the x-rays. Completely disappointed, exhausted, hungry, and I feel defeated. A whole entire day off from work wasted. I did not receive not one apology! They're seems to be a lack of organization with the phone system at this place, smdh. Alot of miscommunication. If they as dare charge me for those x-rays, I'm going to fight that bill to the ground.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! Place seemed very dirty. Flimsy curtains instead of doors on everything - cramped, hot and smelly. Not one receptionist or technician smiled and there were 5 receptionists (not one greeted me or even asked me to fill out paperwork - I had to ask if I needed to fill anything out 35 minutes into waiting). Only one person spoke English to me. Waited over an hour and was not thrilled with service when finally got it. Didn't give straight answer to one question I asked. I called later to have documents transferred and was placed on hold 3 times before I could even tell them why I was calling. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else!

Shockingly, I had not been in for a dental visit in 5 years. I somehow pulled out part of a filling and called immediately for an appointment. The professionalism and patience of the young woman who answered the phone was greatly appreciated. I was not in pain but I was mildly panicking regarding what I should do. I was attended to at 10am the next morning and was met with a friendly & informative staff. My insurance was updated. X-rays of my teeth were completed, and my teeth were cleaned. I did get a gentle reminder that cleaning should be done every six months for optimal oral care and I had a filling repaired for a reasonable co-pay. The American Dental Office that I utilize is close to my home and because I have a unusual work schedule, their early office hours are beyond a simple convience. The office is clean and a lot of my community is represented within their walls. The staff & clientele are of the same mind..., come in, take of business in a safe professional and friendly manner. Any and all questions regarding insurance, co-pays, updating information occurs in a respectful and explicit way. Their are many nationalities in my neighborhood and the nuances within all conversations are handled with respect, humor and most of all facts. They make it easy to decide on a course of action because of their informed interactions. I would recommend American Dental to my neighbors & family. The Dentists & supporting staff create a safe environment for what could be a scary situation.

Yesterday was my first experience. The two ladies at the front desk Charlene and Teri made my process smooth. Went in for toothache but during my wait period i was thinking “if dentist is good Im going to have to tell my family to come here.” The hygienist was wonderful. She was gentle. Her concern was my pain and comfort. The dentist was seen was right after her. No long wait period in a room looking at walls like other medical practices I’ve been too. When i was done, Charlene already had my referrals ready with escripts sent to pharmacy. That was part 1 of my process, but they actually have me excited to return. Dental offices aren’t my fav places to go to, but this office i can trust. SB: trust isn’t easy when you’re in the medical practice because we observe everything

Highly recommend! I had such an awful experience at another dentist in town so my coworker referred me to All-American Dental. They're just a friendly and honest group that truly care about their patients. Dr. Wietholder pulled three of my wisdom teeth just three days after I called and made my initial appointment. The other dentist referred me out to an oral surgeon who couldn't see me for two months. It's been a only week since my extractions and I have no more mouth pain. I'm so grateful for this office and I highly recommend to anyone!

My most recent visit was just a cleaning and X-rays. As always, Tara was efficient, gentle, and quick. Additionally, the post Clear Correct process is going well, my teeth are straight, my retainers fit perfectly. I highly recommend this process if you've ever wanted straight teeth but don't want braces. It works!

4-8-19. Awful, save your time and money. Disrespectful front desk!I should trusted the reviews. The office was empty at the time of entry. For a 2:15pm appointment, I arrived at 2:06pm. Two receptionists were at the front desk.One had food that's visible and the other was on the computer. I did not get a hello or welcome after my entrance even though I respectively greeted them. I was asked"Do you have an appointment?" I replied yes and she just said, can you fill this form and I will need your ID and insurance card. I looked at her puzzled like she had a problem with me. I went back to the chair and started to fill the forms. I skipped the privacy notice by accident. The lady called out my name loud....Mr..... are you refusing to sign the privacy forms? I replied I didn't see that. Then she just pushed it out the front desk without saying anything. I extended my hands and grabbed them to fill. After filling them I passed it over to her and acted like she didn't see it. Then the wait begun...... I couldn't even get entertained as I wait, the 12 inch or so TV was not working properly. The temperature is 72 degrees Fahrenheit and the aircondition is not on, or not functioning. At 2:47pm the receptionist called me and said my ID was not working and the she would need my social security number to verify my insurance. I told her this was verified weeks ago after I made the appointment and I just gave you my insurance card and ID. Her reply was that "you either provide me with that or you wont be seen". I calmly walked out and in my head I was like... "fck that, am out of this joke of a dental office, and never will I come here.

Far and away the best dentist office I’ve ever been to! Everyone there is very professional, but with a personal touch that makes you feel important. They even went out of their way to take care of my treatment when I told them I needed the work done quickly because of upcoming travel obligations for work! The service I received there was excellent, and there was none of the waiting around to be seen that can be so frustrating. I can’t recommend All American Dental enough!
