I was recommended to the Rock Family NLR by a friend. Upon arrival I was greeted in a friendly and professional manner. She answered all my questions and had my paperwork done in a timely manner while handle other customers as they came in and out for appointments. Jan was an excellent help! AP was also very professional and friendly. She did my X-Rays quickly and handled my mouth with care. Dr. Wilson was also very professional, friendly, and gentle when looking into my mouth. AP and Dr. Wilson both explained to me what the care of my mouth needed and what was going on with it and how they were going to help me get it fixed. From the entrance door to the chair for examination Rock family was awesome!!! I’d recommend them to anyone who looking for a nice clean, friendly, professional dentist office!!! Rock family NLR you ROCK!!!!

I went in today to get a permanent crown put in. When I walked in to Lakewood Dental Care this morning, they were ready for me, had everything set up, and I was in & out of there in no time flat. The new crown fits perfectly, is very comfortable, and will last at least 25 to 30 years if it's anything like the original that Dr. Hixson put in. He does good work!

Love this place! I've dealt with Mitzi several times on the phone. She is so helpful, patient and kind. Alba at the front office is friendly, too. My first visit there, I was very nervous about getting a procedure done, but Dr. Cauldwell was wonderful! He was extremely calming and gentle with his work. I was very pleased with the results. I’m terrified of dentists but all of the staff here were so kind to me. I had a constant unbearable toothache that they had me in the chair for and all fixed up within a day of me calling them for the first time. I had to get two root canals which I asked to be sedated for and it was the best procedure I’ve ever experienced. I felt no pain and for the first time ever, I wasn't scared to be at the dentists. I love these guys!

Cannot say enough about how pleased I am. The schedulers and office staff are wonderful, flexible and easy to talk to. They planned out my needed dental care to match my time and budget constraints while keeping my comfort and anxiety in mind. Both the dental assistant and the dentist took their time in explaining my options, the processes, the expected outcome and future visits. The entire office truly puts the patient's needs, health and financial concerns first. The compassion for patients is evident in every area of their staff, from scheduling, billing, to the actual dental assistants and dentists themselves. Worst desntist EVER they are always running behind!! I always have to wait about 30 minutes to be seen. Ridiculous.. Then why they give you a time if they are not going to respect it. They dont think that poeple have to WORK or GO BACK to school!! And they are so cheap, the staff up in the front is RUDE . and. Of course you get what you pay so ... Bad service . Awful service. I cannot wait to get my braces off so i dont have to go there ever again!

I love Rock Family Dental! I’ve always hated my smile but they’re slowly helping me love it. They got my braces on the first day I went in, and now I enjoy coming every few weeks. They almost feel like a family to me. Today the dental assistant that worked with me was Ashley. She’s super nice and fun! *Note: The following is my revised review. My first review (1 star) follows below. I had issues with Rock but they did follow up and make things right. I have continued to use their services (just for exams, have not needed any dental work done so far) and they perform well.* 1st review: Cannot recommend. After my first checkup they gave me a stiff bristled toothbrush, which is odd because even the ADA recommends soft. My wife had a filling installed which subsequently broke, and they refused to even look at it without a payment. They will not receive any more business from me. Follow up: they called my wife and did see her at no cost to address the filling issue. We will reconsider our patronage

Dr. Hixon's manner was inappropriate and simply awful!! We no more got in and he started in on my daughter about keeping her teeth clean. It was so unprofessional. We drove about 80 miles to come to him because my daughter had a tooth broken and he was the only one we could get in to see that same day who did sedation dentistry. My daughter and I got up and walked out after she told him off. I will NEVER go back and will not recommend him to anyone.

Highly impressed with this office. Hadn't been to the dentist in 2 years and was dreading it because I knew I had some issues. I was treated with compassion and respect!! Tamyra and Shandley were professional and kind while examining, X-ray, cleaning, and polishing my teeth. Then met Dr Cauldwell who went over a plan for my teeth which was awesome considering I thought one tooth wasn't salvageable. I will definitely be using this office for all my dental needs as well as referring all my friends and family to this office as well! I wish i could give more than 5 STARS!

I went to get an overdue cleaning and was promptly greeted by the front desk staff members (Lydia and another young lady whose name I can't remember). Within 15 minutes of arrival Tamyra (Dental hygienist) called me back for X-Rays and began the cleaning process. She was polite and gentle during the process. I mentioned my broken retainer that I brought with me in an attempt to get it repaired. She later mentioned it to Dr. Cauldwell. He recommended taking a mold of my mouth and replacing it with a more modern retainer (old one was plastic with a metal wire attached). Dr. Cauldwell was thorough in his post examination of my cleaning and asked if my teeth felt clean. I'm not use to dentist asking because they usually assume the patient is satisfied. After consulting with him for a bit, his congenial dental assistants (Shanley and another young lady whose name I didn't get) took the mold of my teeth, and informed me that the retainer would be available the next day. This all took place near the close of the day and everyone involved seemed just as courteous as if it were the beginning of the day. Thank you all at Rock Family Dental for making my out of town cleaning feel like home! God bless!
