This place feels different and better than any dental office from the moment you walk in! I didn't have any phobias with the dentist office, but at the same time I never really look forward to dentist visits (and sometimes put them off a bit) because it always feels like a "chore" on my to-do list. I tried this place because someone referred me. The whole experience was fantastic! The staff is all friendly, patient, warm, and kind. The dentist are helpful and treat you like an individual instead of rushing in and out. Best of all (for me) the facilities were excellent, they had great snacks, and comfortable seating! I LOVED my experience and I'll be looking forward to my dental visits from now on!

I cannot say enough positive things about NWA Family Dental! I have pretty bad dental anxiety (and struggle with anxiety in general) and was very nervous to go to the dentist. It had been several years since I had visited a dentist, but my anxiety was immediately put at ease. From the moment I talked to Hansen on the phone to make my first appointment, I could tell this practice was different from anything I had previously experienced. He answered all my questions and was so kind. My first visit, the office staff were courteous and friendly when I first arrived. Maddie took me back and answered all my questions and Dr. Bowen was kind and explained everything in detail. They were patient and didn't shame or scold as my dentists had in the past. They went over my treatment plan and financial options in detail, making sure I understood everything and all my options. Maddie even called AND sent me a handwritten note in the days following my initial appointment to check to see if I had any further questions. When I returned for my cleaning, Kyra took such good care of me and again, put me at ease. She was funny and did a fantastic job - again explaining everything clearly and making sure I understood everything. By my third visit, I barely had any anxiety at all. The entire staff, from the front desk to the financial department, to Dr. Bowen and the hygienists/assistants go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and have a good experience. I would HIGHLY recommend this office to anyone and everyone. Thank you, NWA Family Dental!

I hate going to the dentist, but I love it here. I went about 15 years with out going to the dentist. My husband convinced me to go, so I said "Fine. Probably need to go anyway." I ended up needing 10 cavities filled and 2 crowns done. Sucks but, they make it so you do not feel a thing. If you do they will stop and numb you some more. It makes the whole process way better. It is a clean, comfy, and super friendly facility. I have 1 crown and 5 cavities left to go and I am ok knowing they make it as comfortable as possible. Payment and treatment plans are also easy with them. They layout blueprints of everything and sit down and discuss alll sorts of plans with you. Definitely the best dentist clinic ever! Highly recommend going here.

I want to thank all the personable staff, at Northwest Arkansas Family Dental; for their professionalism and detailed experience. We did reviews to find a good dentis, and came across NWAFD. I heard a lot of good things about the staff here and gave them a try. Dr. Johnson was a great choice for us. She made a it a good experience and fixed my wife's broke tooth pain, with a temporary filling; which was better than the last dentist would do. Thank you all for helping us.

Efficient, professional, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They took time to thoroughly answer any questions I had and I never felt rushed. I was called back within 15 minutes of my arrival despite it being my first visit, and they were able to work me into the schedule in a short time period. It is a well thought out and modern facility. They even have televisions on the ceiling when you are being examined. I will return if my job allows me to stay in Fayetteville.

Hands down the BEST experience I've EVER had at a dentist! Dr. Bowen and staff are amazing, absolutely the most knowledgeable, personable, friendly, and wonderful staff on the planet. Seriously, I don't know where they find their people, but from the moment you walk in you are family! They are so warm and welcoming! I was there for a whopping seven and a half hours for a procedure and they took such good care of me! Maddie was the dental assistant on my case and she kept me smiling and laughing the entire day. The girls took such amazing care of me I can't even. Maddie skipped lunch! All of the staff were so kind and collaborative with each other; it was the most high-functioning and positive workplace I've ever observed. Every now and then as other patients were being discharged, other doctors and dental assistants would pop in and offer to help, ask if Maddie needed anything, and relieved Maddie so she could go and eat! I honestly feel so loved on and appreciative. I trust NWAFD completely. They also have the most advanced techniques I've ever experienced, taking not only x-rays but surface photographs of my teeth and explaining every step of the process fully before beginning each procedure. Their plan of attack is treatment then education for prevention--love it!!! I had a very, very minor complication (one of my temporary crowns came out) so I left a voicemail after-hours and Hansen called me back first thing in the morning the very next day and worked me in the schedule immediately. Maddie put it back in with a stronger cement to make sure I was comfortable and secure until my porcelains arrive!! I just can't rave enough. I feel like I've known Hansen for years because he knows me by name every time I walk in the door. They were so accommodating with my daughter; for my initial visit I was able to bring in and set up a pack n play for her right in the OR. Everyone came by and interacted with her and when she was fussy some of the assistants took turns holding her and playing with her. Their new patient information form was so unusual; they ask questions about your hobbies and dental-related fears.They really go the extra mile to get to know you here! It's an almost ~exclusively female~ practice, which for me was a huge plus. Love to see powerful, educated women dominating their field! If you need a dentist, GO TO NWAFD! It's the big pretty red building behind Goodwill on College! Tell them Amanda sent you!!! You won't regret it!

From Lindsay up front is so patient and helpful getting your insurance processed, the hygienists who assist are super friendly, personable, and professional, and Dr. Bowen is just fantastic. So first things first I have never liked going to the dentist. I have a lot of anxiety around it and it makes it difficult to get work done. My dental hygienists Nichole did such a wonderful job. I had to have a VERY deep cleaning done. I hadn't been to the dentist in years so i had a lot of tarder build up and she got my teeth back to normal. I couldn't be happier with the outcome. I've been here twice now, once for a cleaning and once for some procedural work and I have to say every single person that I met from the receptionists to the hygienists to the dentists, was very kind and helpful. It had been a few years since I had been to a dentist, I was new to the area, and incredibly scared of being yelled at for not having gone to a dentist in so long, but everyone was extremely patient with me. They helped me with insurance, a dental plan, and even started the cleaning off by saying from the get-go "this is a judgement-free zone, let's get you taken care of." They explained every step of what they planned to do and took the extra time and effort to check in with me to make sure I was still feeling comfortable. Their main focus is preventative care in addition to upkeep which I absolutely love! They are progressive, clean, friendly, and gentle. They 100% put me at ease and are the best dental place I've ever been to in 25 years! I cannot praise them highly enough!

!!! THIS DENTAL OFFICE LIES !!! My wife and I went in to have her dental check-up. She felt the atmosphere was nice and they were friendly. Turns out that she needed to get 5 fillings repaired and 2 new fillings --- WHICH WAS A LIE. We went to another dentist for a second opinion, which is a longer practicing Dr., to find that she only needed ONE. The difference in cost between their lie and the truth was over 360.00 after insurance. She was then offered a gift card, like every other person who rated them 5 stars, if she would rate this practice at 5 stars. Their 5 star-rating is bought and not earned. This is disgusting that they would lie to patients in order to better their own finances.

One of the dentists in training didn't know how to use the gas properly and the part on my nose sucked in so I could not breathe during fillings. I waved my arms to try to explain this but had my arms held down and was told to be still. I kept trying to say I could not breathe, that something was weird about the gas machine but the same thing carried on 3 or 4 times before they did anything to help me. I felt uncomfortable the whole time and like no one knew what they were doing. Another employee made me feel bad at the front counter after the work was done. I would never go again.

My first impression was good. The staff was friendly and professional. I also liked the clean and quiet office space. I went in for new patient consultation and cleaning. The only unpleasant experience was the unplanned fluoride treatment that I got. I felt like it was a waste of my $42. It was very bitter, and it made me sick to my stomach after the hygienist applied it to my teeth. I had heartburn for hours after the treatment since they said not to brush my teeth until 6 hours have passed. Swallowing my bitter saliva was uncomfortable. I will visit them again for sure, but no more fluoride treatments for me.

They also let you know ahead of time what your cost will be so you aren't surprised at checkout. They went above and beyond in every way.

I couldn't understand how anyone could rate a dentist office 5 star until I went here. Very clean, very professional. They have technology that takes pictures (not just xrays) of every single tooth to identify issues. This was so cool. They were very thorough. I did have one issue where they performed a "deep clean" which was not covered by insurance and I wasn't made aware. After I told them they never mentioned it wasn't covered they cancelled the charges and apologized. I was very surprised at such good customer service. I will be going here again soon and will recommend it to anyone looking for a dentist in Fayetteville!

5 *s across the board for this clinic! Their staff is so friendly and patient. The dentists are more than understanding and informative, they are NOT a "rush through" dentist office. They took the time to acknowledge each concern of mine that I had and were beyond successful in easing my mind of any challenges that could complicate my overall dental experience. With just having twins on my family's plate, money is a bit tight, but NWA-FD understood and made my treatment affordable and within my family's budget for monthly payments. One of the dentists in training didn't know how to use the gas properly and the part on my nose sucked in so I could not breathe during fillings. I waved my arms to try to explain this but had my arms held down and was told to be still. I kept trying to say I could not breathe, that something was weird about the gas machine but the same thing carried on 3 or 4 times before they did anything to help me. I felt uncomfortable the whole time and like no one knew what they were doing. Another employee made me feel bad at the front counter after the work was done. I would never go again.

My first impression was good. The staff was friendly and professional. I also liked the clean and quiet office space. I went in for new patient consultation and cleaning. The only unpleasant experience was the unplanned fluoride treatment that I got. I felt like it was a waste of my $42. It was very bitter, and it made me sick to my stomach after the hygienist applied it to my teeth. I had heartburn for hours after the treatment since they said not to brush my teeth until 6 hours have passed. Swallowing my bitter saliva was uncomfortable. I will visit them again for sure, but no more fluoride treatments for me.

I had my first checkup in 5 years, and the experience was great! They did a full set of baseline X-rays and photos so that I could know how things are going over time. The doctors were very helpful and fast with their work. The cleaning process was comfortable and thorough. Hanson up front is super nice and helpful as soon as you get in. I️ had Kyra as my Hygienist who is one of the best I’ve ever seen. Dr. Johnson took over after Kyra, who is also one of the best DDS’s in the area. Their technology is far superior to anywhere else in the area, which allows you to see exactly what the dentist sees so that they can show you how your teeth look in real time.
