I arrived for my appoint on time, and I was promptly taken back for my regular cleaning. The Dental Hygienist, Lauren, had a very clean and organized room. She was very light handed, and extremely effective at cleaning my teeth. People that say having your teeth cleaned is scary and painful have not had their teeth cleaned by Lauren. She’ll take care of you and she’ll make sure you’re comfortable and pain free the whole time! Dr. Rouhani did my exam at the end, and she was very honest and direct In her assessment. I could tell she wants the best for her patients and she doesn’t beat around the bush. Whenever I do end up needing dental work done, She’ll be the Dentist for me. As far as the rest of the staff in the office, everyone was very nice and welcoming, and they make every attempt to make you feel at home. I highly recommend anyone looking for a new dentist to go there!

I needed my upper denture repaired. They did a great job. I went back to get information on implants. The doctor told me I was two old (70 years old). He told me to take the $35,000. and go on a vacation. Due to his impression of me I will not go back.

I meant to post a review when I visited in October but never got a chance to. Staff was friendly but I personally didn’t care for the dentist because I felt he was a bit judgmental about what I had going on. He just kept repeating over and over again your too young for your mouth to be like this blah blah blah. Didn’t come there to get judged. They took my x rays since I had pain in my wisdom tooth. Told them how unbearable it was and all they said was rinse with warm salt water and change your tooth paste. So I had to stay in pain for another week. I went to Monarch dental and had x rays done and they couldn’t believe adorn didn’t offer me antibiotics because they saw I had an infection that was hard to miss. Even though I need my wisdom tooth pulled I’ll have to wait because I’m too far along in my pregnancy but they are attempting to get he infection under control. I’ve had friends with similar experiences so I know not to go back

I've had bad experiences with dentists in the past, but not here. I had a great experience with Lauren, who made me comfortable with my deep cleaning and treatment. Dr. Ragland was awesome! I will drive 2 hours to see a dentist because of how well they did and made me feel. The office staff was great also. Everyone is so friendly and kind. Totally recommend anyone to see them.

Came here several months ago with my boyfriend for his visit. We scheduled an appointment thinking he'd get a cleaning that day and instead spent hours there for them to only take an x-ray and poke his gums with a tool. The x-ray films were sharp and cut his mouth up and then we had to wait an hour and a half for the lady at the desk to get to us. It was past closing at this point. They told us his first visit would be free and tried to get him to sign up for some plan only receive a $300 something bill a month later. Even after he had it adjusted with his insurance it still cost more than the visit at another office where they cleaned his teeth and took care of his cavaties. Stay away.

This was my 3rd visit to this AP location, it was likely my very last. My normal hygienist was no longer there which was a bummer, and she made my previous two visits pleasant. I had to wait 50 minutes before getting called back, and I was going to give them another 10 minutes before I walked out. Upon this visit, I now had dental insurance to use and cover my cleaning. Now that I had this, I thought it was odd that the dentist was pushing me hard to have all my fillings replaced & my receding lines filled in. He also insisted I was feeling his poking and prodding when I wasn't. They also applied what they said was a plaque preventer on my teeth but was only applied to the front teeth. It felt more like teeth whitener applicator, but I don't know. Anyway, this was the first time they gave me this. It was never given on previous visits. So I was surprised when they also charged me $40 for something they didn't inform me about, never gave me before, and never asked did I want it since it was an extra charge. I wouldn't be upset had they told me up front.

The staff was very nice. The office was running behind that day so my wait was extremely long, but the service received was great and the staff seemed to really enjoy their jobs. Friendly comfortable atmosphere. The one thing I would change is I was hit with a lot of unexpected charges that were pricey. Would like to have known about them prior to receiving the service so that I could have put it in my budget.

The receptionist was nice and polite. She had a great welcoming smile and explained things to me. The assistant i mainly had was AWESOME. She was very understanding of my issue and i felt incredibly at ease. She was nice and empathetic. The other assistant was very kind and got me some water. The dentist explained everything that was going to happen and was very nice. The finance person, helped me out so much. She was great. I love this place and wish all dentist offices were as friendly as this one.

COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME! I scheduled an appointment to have a broken tooth filled, was told to arrive 15min early to fill out new patient paper work. I then spent over an hour in the lobby waiting to be seen, finally get taken back for the free xray and exam which took about another 45min only to have the dentist tell me that he's going to schedule me for several other treatments that I am going to need. I'm like, "ok but I still want to get my broken tooth fixed" so he has me wait an additional 15 minutes to talk to the consultant, who then tells me that I would have to schedule another appointment to get work done.. this is just a consultation.. when I explained that I scheduled this appointment to have the broken tooth fixed they go and talk to the dentist who says now that they can't/won't give me the filling that I came in to have done. So I end up wasting my entire afternoon and still left with a broken tooth! I will NEVER go to another Aspen Dental office again, worst service ever!

My new patient appointment went well. The environment is nice and the staff is friendly. The actual dentist did not make me feel more comfortable about the state of my oral health and his comment stating "he can't do all this work" did not make me feel great about my own self confidence, definitely since I've neglected visiting any dentist for those reasons. I have been wanting to get everything straightened out with my oral care and new I'd have to pay for each single appointment. So once I had enough money to schedule my next appointment the Finance Manager in the office Christy told me to call her or email her if I had any questions. I've been trying for the last month to get in touch with her to schedule my next appointment and procedure, still have not heard from back. So I guess I'll just have to go elsewhere. Overall the office was nice but they didn't seem to care too much about me or the business I wanted to do with them.

My appointment was at 10, I wasn't called back till 10:50. I was only here for a cleaning. The hygienist was nice, but rush so much that she nipped my gums several times and then told me the pain was because I didn't brush my teeth. She flossed my teeth so hard, it was like getting a paper cut on your gums. I wait and have horrible service everytime, this was the last. I will not be back

This place is nothing like the commercial suggested. The services compared to other places were very expensive. Very unorganized, lost my paperwork and took forever to send my xrays. The dentist and the hygienist were very nice and knowledgeable. The overall experience was a big no for me though. I would not recommend going here for general dental needs.

Came to Aspen Dental and I don't think I am ever going to leave. They are friendly, well trained, and professional from the moment you get greeted at the door to the moment you exit. I had to schedule weeks ahead of time only for them to call me 5 hours before my appointment and tell me they are closing at 3 today, a Friday, because the doctor "has business to attend to". My new patient appointment was at 3:15. Hardly a good first impression. I often work out of town and it's rare for me to be able to schedule an appointment and know where I'll be weeks ahead of time. I won't be rescheduling with Aspen Dental.

Worst dental office I have ever been to, first time they billed me for x-ray that I was told there would be no charge, had to go in 2 times to get work done because they didn't have the material the first time, then I told them I wanted it finished before I want on my cruise then they put me off a week after getting materials in. so I had to go on the cruise without getting my work done. I will never go back there or recamend them, worst customer service ever.

I have received a very comprehensive new patient exam like I have never had and a gum treatment. Aspen is very up front with costs and has several payment options, all fully explained. My experience couldn't get any better. I could feel their professionalism from my first visit, you can immediately tell you are in good hands. They handled my periontoditis case in the best way possible. I got so much better right after my first visit and my problem completely resolved a few days after it. Their prices are very reasonable and they offer credit on their plans. Lauren was my doctor and I will always be thankful to her!! Look forward to my next check-up visit!!

I have lived a mobile military life for the past 30 years, seeing whoever was on shift and not having many choices. I've had fillings, root canals without anesthesia. On my last cruise we were in the Persian Gulf and I split a tooth on a piece of boneless rib, hmmm missed a piece. Anyway you don"t just stop pull in and go to a dentist, so after about a week of no sleep and serious pain I pulled the remainder myself. I walked into Aspen and was greeted, processed in, xrayed, and within minutes I had a very nice knowledgeable dentist checking my teeth. He answered all my questions and setup a plan that would allow me to keep my natural teeth for a lot longer. Then the Hygentist came in smiling, she discussed everything she was going to do and went over all my options. As soon as I opened my mouth she immediately noticed that I suffer from dry mouth and before leaving sent me home with a tube of gel that put a stop to that immediately. Lastly, I spoke to a young lady concerning my financial options. I had previously had a dental plan that I paid 120 monthly for but paid about 90% out of pocket. It took 5 minutes and a few answered questions and I was approved and given multiple payment options. I know I need a lotbofvwork done because I had received a quote in Florida before moving back to the tune of approximately 11,248.56. Needless to say Aspen was no where close to that amount. All I have left to say is that Aspen Dental was, efficient, courteous, clean environment and were ready to help with whatever situation. 5 Stars is'nt enough on the scale to do them justice. I just need to get finances in order and I will be receiving quality dental work from nice people that seem to really care. A really big change from what I'm used to. If you need work done, don't waste time looking for the best deal. I'll save you some time, GO TO ASPEN DENTAL AND GET IT DONE RIGHT. I CAN't wait to get started and have a healthy mouth again, be able to smile and chew on all sides.

I've been to some very very poor aspen centers. However the LR location has restored my faith. Really like the doctor there. He doesn't seem as rushed as the other locations and was very knowledgeable. I'm happy here and plan on making it my new "dental home"

Where i do I start? I arrived at 9:45 because they ask you to arrive at least 15 minutes early. So i did. It took until 10:45 a.m. to call me back. Once i got back there they did x-rays. It took an hour for the dentist & hygienist to come & look. Then they sit you in this room so you can wait on the office manager to tell how much the work you need for your mouth. By this time its 12:00 p.m. At 12:25 I excused myself from their office. You need me to wait so you can tell me how i need to pay you. THEY ARE SLOW. However the staff is friendly & kind. I did like the staff they JUST SLOW AS HELL!!!! I will not sit for hours waiting to see how much I need to pay with no services. If you can sit for hours please go they are nice. IF you have to go back to work afterwards don't go. FRIENDLY STAFF BUT SLOW SERVICE.

For someone who despises the dentist, Aspen has me feeling silly for the stigma. The team is SO kind, they’ll talk you through everything as long as you ask and they work hard to keep you comfortable. From dentist to hygienist (especially my sweet, sweet gem of a hygienist) and front desk staff, everyone has been patient, kind and understanding. I wouldn’t even think to change dental facilities for that reason alone but am also extremely grateful for their payment plans, timeliness and ease of appointment confirmation via text/email.

We got new insurance and tried Aspen out since they were on the list. We did not have a good experience at all! There was several issues, and we will not be going back! We only went in for an evaluation for a cleaning. It took almost 2 hours. The first problem I had was when the hygienist was trying to push getting an oral cancer screening test on my teenager, that is not covered by insurance. The disturbing part for me is that they weren't even presenting it as an option or even asking me if I was interested. They just said, this is a test that we do here " because you know how our culture and society is today". What!!?? There was no concerns in the mouth, there is no family history, there is no smoking or dipping going on...no reason whatsoever to have this test on my child! But yet it is an expectation that I will just agree to pay them $75 to give my child chemicals to swish around in their mouth, to check for something that has no basis! I don't think so!! They weren't happy that I said, NO. So when the dentist comes in to look at the xrays, he comes in laughing under his breath and says, I hear you've already talked to our hygienist. Then goes over to look at the xrays and says, there's a couple of cavities and it looks like we need to have the wisdom teeth taken out. (He never came over to the film that was pulled up in front of us with the xrays on it to even show me what he was talking about.) He then headed over to stand by the doorway, so I said, "Can you please show me which teeth have the cavities in them?" He says, "Oh sure." (I guess he's not used to showing people what he's talking about.) He then heads towards the door again and says, "So we can get the oral surgeon that's here today come talk to you about the wisdom teeth." I respond, "Ok, so are you going to go get them now?" He laughs as he walks out of the room, and says, "Oh, I see you're a sexist. It's a him, not a her." Excuse me!! Because you did not hear me correctly, you respond like that! Even if I had said 'her', that was extremely rude and unprofessional for him to call me a sexist! And if that wasn't enough...when I sit down with someone else to go over the treatment plan with me, the first thing they tell me is that I will have to pay for this oral cancer screening test. I told her that I already made it clear to them that I wasn't having that test done. She says to me, 'Well, it's what the doctor wants for part of the treatment plan. And you know it is very important with how today's society is..." Oh really!! That sounds familiar. Hmmmm....I see. It seems that pushing this 'cancer screening test' unnecessarily, to everyone, is the priority here... Not the individual needs of the patient. What I said was completely ignored! My review... if you like to just be part of an assembly line and are willing to pay for whatever they tell you to do, you'll be fine going here. If you want to be respected and treated as an individual that is involved in their own treatment plan, this is not the place to go!

This rating is for the company of Aspen Dental in general. The customer service at this location was subpar. I simply warn you all, as I have to all my friends and family, if you need a dentist don’t utilize this company. They are scam artists that will try to sell you products you don’t need and are overpriced. After you receive your services, they will send you to speak to a billing representative to look at your charges for that day’s visit. They claimed most of their products offered will be covered by dental insurance with 100% certainty and if there are services that are not covered by your dental insurance, you can pay on the spot or they can finance your visit to make payments. What they don’t mention is all the hidden costs and they will continue to bill for services not performed. I have never dealt with this type of system, if you need a Dentist, please STEER AWAY from Aspen Dental. The company is built of a system of scamming their customers. Go to a traditional dental office! Please save yourself the trouble, and your wallet.

The complete experience is so positive thus far. I’ve never been able to say that before. The attendants were very helpful. They treated my husband and I like old friends or maybe even family. I will tell all my friends about this practice. The financial secretary did her best to answer our questions so they there was very little anxiety. I will be going back.

I do not recommend this office. Although the staff is very welcoming, they are not efficient or thorough in their explanations. The dentist said things that did not align with what the assistants were telling me. I went in for a cleaning and never received the cleaning although I kept asking and had the money for it. It did not have anything to do with other procedures.They just did not give me a cleaning. I waited seven days for a response on when my fillings can be taken care of. The nurse said that she would call me the next day and it took me calling her seven days later for her to remember that she was supposed to call me. I do not recommend this office.

I have been looking for help with my dental situation for over a year and Aspen Dental were nice and very concerned about my dental health. They were honest and helped me above and beyond even when I thought I wouldn’t be able to complete my visit to get my teeth fixed. I would recommend anyone to go there because they genuinely care about people and not just about how much money you can spend like a lot of dentist now a days. It’s sad what health and dental care has turned into but Aspen Dental said they cared more about helping me especially after a year from being bounce from dentist to dentist without one of them helping to relieve my pain because of not having insurance. They care about the little people just as much as the big people and I thank them a lot!!!!!!!!!

I just left from Aspen Dental on Markham in Little Rock after spendiing an entire hour waiting in the exam chair for the dentist. When he did come in he spent all of 10 minutes to stick his fingers in my mouth and then tell me I had some bone loss and he could make me some dentures, but he couldn't guarantee they would stay in my mouth! Then he added that he guessed a set of wobbly teeth are better than trying to gum everything I eat! Could you be any kinder to someone who lost her teeth to a medication and who's 66 years old, someone who was so excited about getting teeth for the first time in 2 years. Then I was sent to have a panoramic X-ray and off to a holding room for a consultant who would tell me how much I owed. Another hour wait! I had enough after that. Too much abuse for one day. Obviously if you want the type of treatment they tout on the Aspen Dental ads, don't go to the one on Markham. You'd be better finding a vets office that knows if they don't treat their patients the right way, they are going to get bit.

Aspen Dental is an awesome clinic!! From day one I was impressed with their professionalism, they helped me with my periodontal disease and now I visit them regularly! They are also very flexible and helpful when scheduling appointments. Lauren is my dentist and visits with her are always very efficient and fun!!! She's such a sweet person. This was perhaps the best dental experience I've ever had. The kindness and friendliness of the staff was what I would label as above and beyond generous. I was so embarrassed by the work I knew I needed but the staff positive attitudes left me feeling that I had no need for such feelings. I would recommend this dentist facility to everyone. I have only received diagnostic treatment so far - no actual dental procedures done yet. But based on this initial experience I can say that I was treated with great respect and friendliness. All staff I encountered were kind and professional and always concerned about my comfort and well-being. There was a lot of wait time, but I still felt like I was being treated like a queen! Floor staff was great . Very friendly and personable. Appointment time was within minutes of schedule. However , Dr ???? Came in to the exam room and never introduced herself. Immediately started feeling around in my mouth and telling the assistant with her to add $600 for this , $800 for that. In the end the total was well over $6000. 23 extractions and full upper and lower dentures. I decided to go elsewhere for a second opinion. Second place did everything that Aspen was going to do for $3400.

Aspen Dental of Modesto has a wonderful team. They are very helpful team of folks. They do everything to make your experience an enjoyable, friendly, and super awesome one. The team at Aspen Dental of Modesto are super sharp and really give you 100% of themselves to make you feel great about the decision you've made to go with Aspen Dental. Highly recommend there office. They are brand new too Modesto. They are as of July 2019 accepting new patients right now. They can handle most of your dental needs including implants, partials, and many other dental needs. Went to get a tooth pulled, but my root was too long. I had to have oral surgery. My mouth was numbed properly and the tooth was extracted. I didn't feel a thing. My tooth healed properly and my follow up visit everyone was very nice and cooperative.

I had a horrible experience I went in to get my back tooth look at they did my free exam and x-rays and I told the dentist I want my tooth pulled but didn’t agree with me he was hesitant about his decision on what to do with my tooth! He hit my teeth with some tool and he felt swelling in my gum and I told him I was in excruciating pain and it is infected but didn’t prescribe me no antibiotics nothing now it 2 days later and my jaw is all swollen! Thanks a lot!

The worst experience I have ever had with a business. Basically they gave me one price for a list of elective procedures and then increased it by $300 after I had the procedures. Three months of headaches later, they now say that I owe them $560 more than the original quote. Get this... a clerical error on their part caused the whole thing. I even caught the error before the procedure and they assured me that they had fixed it and that the original cost was correct. Just terrible. Christy Markham-Threlkeld was my main contact there. She was ok, but the whole experience was terrible. Still dealing with it. Go somewhere else.

Great Experience! I was greeted with a warm and friendly smile. The interaction with myself and other patients was professional yet friendly. Even the staff that I did not have direct interaction with were kind and approachable. My interaction with the staff of Aspen Dental was comparatively like seeing an old dear friend. The staff showed concern for my comfort and was great about explaining everything. There was absolutely no judgement. They were great about praising me for what I've done correctly and was extremely supportive about any corrections that need to be done. They created a care plan for me but was not pushy. They were willing to work around MY decision, within MY timeframe. I left my previous dental office of 15 years because I began to feel like a number and an ATM. At Aspen Dental I felt like I was surrounded by family and just like family, they care about my well-being.

My husband needed a dentist while on the road as a truck driver 1000 miles from home (he never complains or asks to see a dentist and/or doctor so I knew he wasn't feeling well). They were quick to get him seen, evaluated and treated. Gave him a plan to bring home for further treatment. It was refreshing to have such wonderful, professional folks from booking agent all the way to the dentist. Even had parking for the semi and a pharmacy in same location. All major pluses for us. Thank you from a worried wife in Georgia. Would definitely recommend.

If I could give a negative I would. This place is new in Modesto and might not last long! After deciding to spend thousands of dollars here and committing to the work that's when it stated going downhill. On my second visit I was left in a dentist chair for over 30 minutes I let them know I had another appointment and had to leave. When I went to the front desk they asked me to give them a minute. One of the ladies went to the back for a couple minutes . When she returned she told me the dentist was in a procedure so couldn't do it.told me they could have an assistant do it. The day before the assistant couldn’t even get the impressions right. Now they want me to let the same person make s decision that will affect the rest of my life. These puppy mill operations constantly over book but that was the least issue. I was making a lifetime choice and I don't think I want to leave my decision to anyone else but a dentist. These operations are only about money. They even employ a closer to get the money. The days of caring about the patient doesn't exist in these operations. There are tons of choices . Don't make s mistake and use this puppy mill!

The dentist didn't spend but a second talking to me. Told me that he couldn't help me with my dentures that I would have to purchase new ones. Pointed at the assistant and said she would help me out. I needed a reline and a repair and I left with nothing because I would not bother $3,000 item. The lower-cost dentures that I could afford I had a choice of six shades of shades of teeth that looked coffee and smoke stained like nothing else. Horrible horrible horrible all they wanted to do was get me to owe them money and when I couldn't spend money they wanted they didn't want to help me at all.

In my opinion Aspen Dental is a ripoff, they give you a free x-ray to bait you in. I was told I need $3000 worth of work done, I have insurance that gives me two free cleaning a year. I was told I need a deep cleaning and they wanted me to pay over $400 out of pocket seriously? I called and told them that I didn't want the deep cleaning and to just give me the regular cleaning. They said if I didn't want to pay for the deep cleaning they will not give me a regular cleaning and I can go somewhere else if that's what I wanted. The lady was very rude after I told her I will not pay over $400 out of pocket when I have insurance. Do not do business with Aspen, they will tell you that you need lot's of work done just to get your money, even if you have insurance! YOU BEEN WARNED!!!

This place will try and rip you off! Just like the review I read from Shawn. The same thing happened to me. I went in for a cleaning. I spent 2 hours there as well. Did not get the cleaning because they don't do cleaning the first visit. The hygienist talked about cancer screening but did not realized that I was being told that it's mandatory because it was in the long list of charges that the rude billing specialist presented to me and the hygienist also kept saying that they would have to continue a periodontist treatment on me that I've never heard of and how in the world can she even say that when at the same sentence she said that they will need to get my records from my prior dentist. I was totally confused on why I had over $600 worth of work that needs to be done prior to cleaning. I have a breakdown of the bill that they require for me to pay and it shows that I was going to be charged $54 for the cancer screening that I did not agree upon and a $134 electric toothbrush that I did not ask for and so many other charges that I have no idea what they are!!!
