I WAS ABSOLUTELY BLATANTLY LIED TO BY ABERSOLD’s (ARKANSAS DENTAL CENTER - MIDTOWN’S) OFFICE MANAGER, PAM. The day of, I was their last patient & called back & talked to Pam. (We had agreed that I would be paying in cash to receive a discount.) I asked Pam if I could come back (a few blocks) & write her a check since I had been on nitrous for over 3 hours & by force of habit had handed her my credit card. She was trying to leave on vacation & said it would be easier for her to let the credit card transaction go thru. She said that she could instead give me a "professional discount" that would amount to the same $. She said she does it for several patients. A week later, Pam told me I was not getting a discount. Forget the $. A company's office manager lying to me, especially after the thousands of $ I have spent there in a very short time, is appalling. If she lied to me, who else? Maybe her superiors?
Also, I asked for 2 crowns & 2 veneers. Instead, I was given 4 crowns, which means 2 extra teeth had to be filed down to nubs. I wasn't privy to this change at all. It was during the procedure that I realized how much drilling was being done that I ran my tongue across the 4 teeth involved & realized 2 teeth had been filed down to nubs that shouldn't have been. The only explanation I was given was that veneers were actually just 1/2 of a crown. That is not an explanation of why I received different work than I had requested.
I was never offered any "New Patient Deals" that they claim to offer, I was lied to about getting a 10 percent "Professional Discount", & I had work done that wasn't what I asked for. I hate my teeth. They look like dentures & do not match my other teeth. Their lifetime whitening is a joke. I will have to live with what was done in that office because I will never go back.
