REVIEWS OF Sani Dental Group IN Arizona

The people there are great and try to make everything as painless as possible for dental work. I got fillings and a root canal done then going in next week for wisdome extractions. They have done an amazing job so far. But I did hear from others in the office that their implants have a tendency to go wrong but they do warranty them for 2 years. All in all I will be coming back to them

Avoid at all costs! I spent a year researching dental tourism destinations. I chose Sani in Los Algodones because they were listed as the top clinic by Dental Departures. It’s important to note: those clinics are ranked by NUMBER of reviews, not by score, and that’s important. Sani is by FAR the largest group in Los Algodobes, with the most volume of patients, so it makes sense they have the most ratings, which makes them the ‘top’ dental clinic. My experience with Sani was beyond outrageous. I booked my stay at the Hacienda, a hotel owned by Sani, because patients are reimbursed for their stay. My first appointment started fine: I was taken back quickly by the receptionist who took my medical history, then I had 360 X-rays, and then after about 30 minutes, I was called back to consult with one of the doctors. That’s when things took an ugly turn. I had two treatment plans from 2 local dentists, who BOTH recommended the all-on-four procedure. I had also received a quote from Sani for an all-on-4 full mouth restoration package that was supposed to be 17,800 and that was what I had expected to pay. The doctor, however, proceeded to say I needed 8 bone grafts, sinus lifts, general anesthesia and 16 implants, bridges, etc that was going to cost $42,000! When questioned, his responses were brusque. When I said I didn’t have that, the other person in the room - I think he was an accountant - actually asked me how much money I had brought with me. Not my budget. How much I had WITH me. After several minutes of being told I needed this and that, that I’m not a candidate for the all-on-4 package, I’m upset and in tears because I had waited and saved years for this and I was expecting to go back home able to smile again. I felt like I’d been punched in the stomach. The ‘accountant’ led me outside and told me he’d give me a special deal but ‘don’t tell anybody’. Not joking. It was like the worst used car salesman technique, laughable if it wasn’t dealing with my health. He dropped the cost to 28,000, then to 22,000. At this point, I was done with Sani because I knew for a fact the doc had either lied to me about the best course of treatment, or he was incompetent. Either way, I was leaving. This happened on Saturday morning and for the rest of that night, through Sunday, and into Monday morning, the accountant guy kept calling me. All of a sudden, I CAN have the all-on-4 procedure. He also seemed very concerned with my plans: was I going to another clinic? Which one? He wanted me to meet him on the corner to talk to me in person. Uh, yeah. Not happening. I have screenshots of numerous calls from three different numbers, over the course of about 18 hours. After saying ‘no’ too many times, I started blocking his number, only to have him call from a different number, with a better deal. It was crazy. Sheer harassment. He would not leave me alone. My breaking point was Monday morning. I was in the shower in my room at the Hacienda, getting ready to go to another clinic, when I heard pounding on my door that lasted several minutes. I didn’t answer, but I heard voices and yep- it was the Sani accountant who had tracked me down AT MY HOTEL ROOM. Sani owned the hotel- would he get a key and just walk in next? At this point, I’m freaking out more than a little. I get haggling, I get pushy salesmen, but this was beyond that. Plus, this was about my HEALTH. This sort of tactic was being used by a MEDICAL facility. Insanity! I packed my bags and left the Hacienda within the hour. Won’t lie, I was pretty shaken up. Fortunately, I did find another dentist and that was a totally different experience and restored my faith in Los Algodobes. Clinic like Sani who use shady, bullying tactics give the city and decent clinics a black eye. Sani has many good reviews, and I do ask myself why. Maybe if I had gone for a crown or cleaning, it would’ve been fine. Maybe they treated me so horribly because they saw $20k walking out the door. In any case, there’s no excuse for such blatant harassment. Nightmare!

Well. If you have 1 tooth problem they still force you to $70 usd full mouth x-rays. I did not wanted to be x-rayed. They refuse to 1 tooth local xray.

So far so good. Excellent service and great under pressure. My dentist did everything expected of any dentist and Ive been to them all....Had 1 wisdom extraction and replacing 2 crowns with 2 implants because my canadian dentist did a crappy job and will not warranty his work. Im paying exactly half the amount for the same work except I understand Sani will warranty their work. Paid for my winter vacation with the money i saved. Canadian dentists are getting waaaay to rich.

First negative review I've ever posted! I went to Sani 4 years ago. They sold me on requiring 1 root canal and 6 crowns. The dentists that gave me the prognosis appeared highly intelligent and spoke english very well. I think that's his only job, offering recommendation and selling their service. Keep in mind, they do not do or even know what an onlay or inlay is - and always suggest a full crown. The electricity went out several times during treatment. The root canal was the WORST experience of my life, and I compare that to being hit by a car and hospitalized with stitches to the head. The dentist repeatedly injected me with the same anesthetic which wasn't working -rather than try an alternative, which is what any US dentist would do. I looked up the aftermarket "Novocain" substitute they used, and it was an import from eastern Europe. I ended up in a US emergency room from being overdosed with the non working "Novocain -knock-off." I was shocked to learn that I'd have to return a week later after the crowns were made to have them put in. Over the course of treatments, I was shuffled to 3 different locations, only one of them bearing the company name. After suffering all that, I thought I had at least saved thousands of bucks and got put my dental concerns behind me. Fast forward to the present.... I've been to US dentists since that time, and have had 3 of those crowns replaced and just learned that I need the root canal redone completely. One of the crowns popped off by itself. All three had major tooth decay underneath. The root canal shows decay and infection due to poor cleaning during initial treatment. I'm fairly certain I have 3 more crowns that will need replacing in the near future. Unless you only have a couple years to live or plan on being wealthy enough to fix what gets messed up at Sani within a few years, I recommend taking whatever option you can afford in the states... be that an extraction, dental college, ect.. going to Sani for dental work is masochistic and more expensive in the long run.

I had 22 crowns put in 3 teeth pulled and 2 root canals and a back bridge for under $5,000 and done in one week. The guarantee their work. I had one problem which I went back for. They covered all dental costs and my hotel bill. It was the first time I looked forward to going to the dentist. I highly recommend and I send everyone there.

I was at Sani-Dental (Piatinum) the beginning of this year. I purchased 2 new full upper plates. The other night while dining with friends. . .my back upper tooth literally fell out onto the floor. How embarrassing!! Thank God I didn't swallow out!! Who do I contact and talk with a REAL person???

Charles Springer

Shoddy work. Three teeth have fallen off. The bridge work is loose. $14,440 up front.Another $6,800 following. Sleazeball hustlers all the way.

Roger Bradley

I had surgery involving titanium implants, 2 major bridges and 8 crowns. The process took over 6 months, but was well worth it. I saved 77% on my dental bill by going to SANI. In the states they wanted $51,000 to do my uppers and lowers. SANI gave me options. After everything was over and done will the bill was $11,400. That is a BIG SAVING. They do have their own processes in place and it might be a little slower, but the payoff is fantastic! I tell my friends it is like Dial Up vs High Speed Internet. You still get the same outcome in the end just be patient. I really want to thank Omar Gerardo (Surgeon) and Jari Franco (Dentist) for their expertise and their patients for detail. It paid off in the end. I will never use stateside services again they are in it for the money. These guys do care and know what they are doing! Thank you so much!

sani dental is an ok clinic but they clinics are way over populated they attend to many people in one day expect to be waiting standing with a least 25 more people becouse they do not have enough seats, for the consecuent they do not really take the time to study your case they work very fast, i went there becouse i had pain in my gum coming from one of my teeth they took me a xray and after waiting one hour they a dentist inspected my teeth he told me there was nothing wrong with my teeth and the gum pain had nothing to do with my teeth and I need it to see diferent kind of doctor they charged me 150,after there I went for a second opinion and i fount a nice smaller clinic with cleaner facilitys and just four people in front of me when I had my turn I spoke directrly with the endodontist he personally took like 20 xray of my teeth in cuestion and he found the problem and explained to me, I came back to phoenix happy with no more pain. by the way sani dental was more expensive they charge around 800 dollars for and endondoncy I only paid 500.

Frances Whitfield

My dentist quoted an unaffordable $13,000 and it only cost $2000 for 8 crowns, 2 post rebuilds, full denture and partial dental. The work looks great, works great and the staff at Sani Dental and the Hotel Los Algodones are second to none! I will be returning!

The best anywhere!!! I never felt like a number. They actually gave me royal treatment. Yes they are busy but there's a reason why. Great service and prices blows every dental place I've been out of the water. I do have one regret. I wished I had known about them years ago. I could have save lots of money and probably had better teeth than what I have today. Look up the word rape under Webster dictionary and you'll see "Dental Prices in the United State." Going back with my 90 year young Mom in Oct. She too loves their services and can't believe how nice and cheap they are. Also one of the best vacations time ever. Relaxing and the people in this small town act like family. Maybe they just liked us but what a great experience on everything. Love, love love Sani Dental Group.

Dr. Santiago, Dr. Florio del Rosario Solano, and Asst. Fliguel Angel examined my teeth, replaced a filling for me, and cleaned my teeth. The service and level of competency was superb! Dr. Santiago let me know that my dentist at home was wrong when she told me that I had a cracked tooth; he said that the old filling simply needed to be replaced. The prices were a fraction of those charged in the USA, and they treat their customers like royalty! I highly recommend Sani Dental Group.

WORST DENTAL EXPERIENCE EVER!! Had 1 implant & 1 root canal. BOTH had to be,(according to their dds) REDONE!! 6 weeks & still in pain from the root canal which needs to be redone again, FOR THE 3RD TIME!!!!

robert mcleod

Very disappointed! Returned after 6 weeks to get my "healing dentures" realigned, they were unable to realign the dentures and sent me home without a bottom denture. For 9 weeks I have not been able to chew anything and have no idea when or if they will be able to finish the job!? Beware...

Elizabeth Giuliani

BEWARE!! You are a number here and treated like an assembly line. I contacted San Dental before coming to Los Algodones MX and emailed them all my information. Upon my arrival they did not have any of my emailed information. At my scheduled appt. time I was put in one room, taken out waited another hour, brought in another room, brought out waited another two hours and was told I had to come back to MX in 10 days due to metal under my old root canal. I paid for a panoramic x-ray and left. I planned on getting a pre-treatment of a root canal and a new bridge on one side and another six crowns. I went to another dental clinic the next day and they took x-rays and there was NO metal under my old root canal. To top it off the Hacienda Los Algodones hotel is owned by the Sani Dental Clinic and I stayed that one night and they made me give them $80 cash when I checked in. The rate is $35. When I checked out Rome (man at front desk) said it will cost me $50 because I did not do any more procedures at the Sani Clinic. My husband called the hotel that evening--but Rome told him he did not speak English so I never received the call. Stay away from the Sani Clinic!! Many other patients were complaining also!!!!!

Had a wonderful experience at Sani Dental this September. I had 2 root canals, ordered 2 crowns, had panoramic xray, 9 extractions, 4 lower "all on 4" implants, temp healing denture and ordered my permanent implant all in the few days I was there. The Hacienda was a pleasant surprise as it was like a motel, but clean and everyone was there for dental work and since the infrastructure of the entire town is a little lacking (wi-fi wasn't great, the tv stations are in Spanish, power would flutter after each MRI) everyone just kept entertained by actually having conversations with real people/patients. Sitting by someone in the tiny front office/restaurant dining on soft food menu was one of the best things about the trip. Sitting by the pool or just hanging out after a day of dental work and wandering through the vendors. Trust me when I say I have had hundreds of procedures and many hours in a dental chair. I have had just about every procedure that can be done in Chicago at some advantaged 'dental spas' and family friend dentists. I had 2 implants several years ago that took almost a year to complete, $10,000 later and the crowns are not the right color or sizes and overall wasn't happy with them. But for less than the 2 implants, I was able to get a full mouth makeover with a full all on 4 implant and all the final arches, crowns, etc. Overall, most Sani patients are not there to just get a filling or one crown replaced, but major surgical procedures. I wouldn't classify it as a 'dentist office' but a surgical center. Some people do not understand that dentistry is tricky ANYWHERE in the world and sometimes there are teeth that cannot be saved, that is just dentistry. I will be returning after 5 months of healing to get the final fittings, but so far everyone there is very helpful, trustworthy, competent, compassionate and I would recommend them to anyone. I am very happy to be a reference for Sani Dental Group.

Wasn't expecting this to be so easy! These guys know what they are doing!! Had my upper teeth removed and implants done in a weeks time. You will need to wait while your mouth heals, this is not instant! But the quality is great. Work is proceeding as expected and I want people to understand that the "teeth in a day" claims by other people may be true, but that is not your permanent set of teeth. You need to spend 6 MOS. recovering from your implants before the permanent teeth can be attached.

I visited Sani dental last October. I went alone and am a woman in my thirties. I had dealt with years of dental problems, pain and debt. I had enough already and decided to take the plunge and go to sani after all of my friends and family advised me not to. Although, they had never been? I absolutely do not regret my decision at all! I had all my work done for a fraction of the price in California! It probably cost me about a forth of the price or less. I can't remember exactly but I had maybe 13 crowns done, 5 root canals, and one tooth extraction! It only took a few days and so far so good! I am so glad I went! I wished that I got everyone's names who worked on me because they were awesome! They were very professional, skilled and knowledgable. They consulted with each other and I was very confident in their decision making. I felt that they were very honest and everything ended up costing less then I expected!:) I do want to Thank those whose names I did get. Thank you Javier at the front desk for making me feel welcome from the very start! You were the first smiling face I saw when I came through the door neverous. You made me feel at ease immediantly;) Thank you Jose for showing me around town and making me feel welcome every time we met. I really enjoyed your company:) Dr. Fernado and tadis thank you for doing an excellent job with my root canals. Your sense of humor and kindness meant the world to me! It was completely painless:) Dr. Paul you did an excellent job with all of the crowns! You are truly a pro. Teeth that other dentists in the states said that could not be fixed were wrong! You fixed them! Very amazing! Great job! I am only sorry I did not get your assistants name because she was awesome too, so sweet and kind! I will be back;) One last thing. It is an absolute must to stay at hotel Los algodones! Completely safe and welcoming. Wonderful staff! Wonderfull guests. It's like having a big dental support group. I will write a 5 star review for them soon. They will pick you up from the airport and take you back. Awesome experience! Safe and friendly town. So if you are reading this ...don't hesitate. Don't let fear hold you back. Go for it! You will not regret this trip! I have no pain and no worry anymore about my teeth! Wonderful. Update: several... root canals have failed. One was definitely not done correctly:( I am in pain again! Sani said they would honor their warranty:) It's just a matter of getting the time and money to get back down there. Im willing to give them another chance. Let you know how it goes next time! Regardless, I would still recommend. Just be realistic and consider if you are having major work done..fast, you may need to return;)

I interviewed 10 dentists last week, and I was impressed with Sani Dental Group. There are so many business signs that it is hard to see where to go. Street numbers seem to have no relevance and are not displayed on buildings. Google Plus Code: P78C+6C Los Algodones, Baja California, Mexico. Walk 2 1/2 blocks from the border on Calle 2 which turns in to Calle Álamo. It's on the left. They have the following free amenities: WiFi, Air Conditioning, Shuttle service from Yuma and hotels to clinic, discounted hotel rooms, free rooms with minimum purchase, $150 CT scan. Credit cards have a 3-4% fee. Take US cash (it's safe there). They have very friendly, helpful, English speaking staff. It is a huge place, clean and nicely decorated. They mop outside every day. I was impressed with their private exam rooms, disposable plastic that covered everything touched by the doctor and assistants, and instruments are sterilized in an autoclave and sealed. Machines are certified by the ADA and they are members of the BBB and ADA. They own their own dental lab so crowns and bridges get made quickly. There was some waiting between seeing different specialists, as you get a different specialist for each procedure. They gave me a lead apron for the CT scan. One dentist I trust said this is not the best place, but their prices were the best. Even so, I have asked them to give me a better quote.

Regina Schwartz

I like to ask the person who said that it is a scam. Can he explain in more detail his experience? I have gone thru quite few websites to read reviews and all are great, except this person. I'm planning to go in August. Thank you

1,5 ago I entered Sani dental office as I wanted to get 4 crowns for my 4 front tooth. Dr. Rivas suggested me to replace the FULL MOUTH as that would “look better “ he said and gave me a good discount . So I signed paper that says I was agree to pay 10800$ for FULL MOUTh . Aftertastes all my tooth were grounded and crowns were installed I realized that my 4 back teeth weren’t done , so it wasn’t full mouth like I expected. I was very disappointed and asked my questions - doctors told me they don’t recommend the full mouth as the very back tooth would be better not to touch . Why didn’t they tell me that before ? I signed papers and was agreed to pay for the full mouth- not almost full mouth . I wouldn’t be agree for that and I would just replace only 4 as I planned . There’s no way for me to cancel it as my teeth were grounded yet and I will never get my natural teeth back !

I went to Sani Dental based on reviews, because I had one front tooth giving me some grief. After checking in at the front desk, someone took my head shot picture and I was sent to the waiting room. Then another person took me into an office and questioned about allergy and extended benefits at home in Canada. I was informed it was $30 for them to fill out my extended benefits paperwork, which I declined. I was then sent back to the waiting area. Then a fellow took me to the X-ray room and returned me to the waiting area. At last the “dentist “ came and asked me into a different room where there was another man operating the computer. I am not sure this fellow was a qualified dentist or a salesman. He looked at my X-ray and did a grind test on my bite and spoke a lot of Spanish to the computer guy. Then they informed me that all 5 of my gold crowns needed replacing, all my teeth were worn down and that I needed 2 root canals to the time of $8000 US. When I said “what??” They gave me a reduced price of $3000 not using gold. When I asked about simply the tooth in question, they said both that tooth and another one needed root canals for just over $800. They encouraged me to book an appointment and I was led to another room to pay for the X-ray where I waited for someone to show up. I paid cash $60 for the X-ray, as there is a 4% fee using credit card. They gave me the “quote”, a receipt and a CD with my X-ray. I went to a different dentist also recommended, who looked at my new X-ray on the CD, took me to his office, said he could see inflammation around my tooth but no sign of needing a root canal or infection as I was concerned about. Nor did any other tooth appear to need a root canal. He did a cleaning and gave me a prescription for antibiotics just in case. I asked if he considered my gold crowns to be worn or needing replacement and he felt they were fine. Which was my understanding as I’d recently been to my Canadian dentist who did not have anything negative to say about them. So, beware. To me, Sani Dental is a scam to suck you into paying a lot of money for work you don’t need. They are no different than the hustlers on the street that you walk past to get to the office.

As a woman, I value my teeth and my smile. I was informed by my dentist and oral surgeon in Poway that I was in need of the removal of one of my gorgeous crowns and the extraction of the entire tooth. For me, a missing tooth is not an option. The price which I was quoted in Poway for the extraction, bone graft and implant was over $6,000. In effort to find more affordable options, I found Sani Dental in Los Algodones, Mexico. Their price is substantially less than the amount quoted in San Diego. I have had the extraction and bone graft and go back for the post and implant. Initially I went to Sani for the consultation. Their equipment appears to be state-of-the art. I received x-rays and went home to "think about it." Decided to return to Sani for the extraction and bone implant and for beginning implant process. I experienced no pain or swelling after the extraction. The staff appeared to be very knowledgable and very pleasant and friendly. Although I was hoping to practice my "español" while in Los Algodones, I found that the staff at Sani are very fluent in English. To my surprise, it seemed that most of the village speaks fluent English, even the street vendors. Therefore, communication has not been a barrier. I return for the second stage of the implant process soon. I hope my input has been helpful. Will update at a later date on my subsequent visits :-)

The staff is very professional and the facility is immaculate and state of the art technology. They are the largest and most well known facility in town. I have been told they are priced higher than some others dentist that are also excellent. They do give you a voucher for the hotel and a complimentary shuttle to and from the airport. It depends on how much work you need done. Check website's of other dentist depending on what you want done.

I waited about 2 months before writing this review to make sure everything turned out good. I can say now i am very pleased with how everything turned out after my week with Sani Dental. I had problems getting my passport on time which turned out not to be a problem as long as you have a drivers license. (get your passport though its easier) Give your self plenty of time, at least a week, if your doing a lot of work. I kind of rushed the end because my flight and family obligations and i regret it. The staff was very good about getting everything done in time and again i wish i didn't have to rush them because i would have had them shave a bit more off 1 of the crowns. I had the whole upper arch done in porcelain crowns as well as a 3 tooth bridge on the bottom rear molars. 3 bridges done in all with 6 root canals. My upper jaw was sore for about 3 weeks and i was worried something was wrong but 800mg ibuprofens knocked out all the soreness until the pain went away. Dr. Mario, Dr Murillo, and Dr Saldivar all were great and there assistants as well, they spent about 6 hours a day grinding and doing the root canals, it was pain free but a lot of work keeping your mouth open that long. (brush your teeth kids :D ) everyone i know says they look great and i still do a double take in the mirror sometimes :) I cant thank them enough and have recommended them to everyone that needs work done and will be returning to get the bottom done next year.

Sabrina Greenwood

I had a great experience at Sani Dental. I do t have dental insurance and my root canal was going to cost $850 or more in Phoenix and it was $315 At Sani. I had my first consultation appointment and the procedure and recommend crown options were explained. I saw Dr. Carlos Morales and he did a wonderful job. I had to go back a week after my first appointments to have the composite done. I plan to return for my crown in a month or so. I have more time than money so very thankful to have this option to keep my smile beautiful!

I had 15 teeth pulled and 10 implants put in on the same day! They were fantastic! Dr. Diego was the most competent dentist I ever had! And the price was incredible! Never in my lifetime would I have been able to afford that in the states! I recommend them highly! You can't go wrong!

On Dec. 6 I went to Sani-Dental Platinum for 2 implants for a 5 unit bridge. During the consultation I pointed out that my Periodontist in Arizona wanted them to be very careful of the shallow root system I had and they assured me they were aware of that. When I returned home, I was in constant pain and contacted the Dr. who assured me that was normal and to take a LOT of Vitamin B. After 3 months of pain 24/7, I made the 4 ½ hr. drive back, got a C.T. scan and was told all was good, pain was not unusual, take Vitamin B. After another month I returned again and they removed the original implant and replaced it with a shorter one. At that point I was somewhat upset they had not done that in the first place. After 5 ½ months of constant pain I returned to my Periodontist here in the States and had another C.T. scan. He said from the shadow of the original implant it appeared they had touched the nerve. I contacted Sani-Dental and they were very kind and cooperative and sent the original C.T. scan of the first implant. My Periodontal team reviewed it said they had, in fact, penetrated the nerve. When I told them this, they sent another view of the implant and insisted they had not penetrated the nerve. When I showed it to my Dr. here he pointed out it was a scan of the front implant not the back (you could even see my front teeth beside it . I contacted Sani again and pointed that out. They denied it . Until they tried to pull that stunt I did not intend to write a review and just chalked it up to a terrible mistake. Now they are trying to cover that mistake by insulting my intelligence and that of my Periodontist. As I go into 7 months of intense 24/7 pain, I have no bridge, I am now on high dosages of pain meds and am under the care of a Neurologist who has me on medication that will hopefully reverse or block the damage in a few months. If not I will need a nerve block. I have no complaint about Sani-Dental Platinum’s facilities, customer service, or treatment of patients but they made a terrible mistake and not only refused to admit it but tried to cover it up. UPDATE: It has now been exactly 9 months of stinging, burning, pinching pain. I am under the care of a Neurologist and am on medication to help rejuvenate the damaged nerve. My periodontist team here in Arizona tells me I can go ahead and have the bridge put on the implants since the new one no longer touches/encroaches the nerve. However, it could be YEARS before I am no longer in pain, if ever. And yet they won't admit it. DO NOT GO TO THIS CLINIC FOR IMPLANTS.

i am very pleased with there work and the staff are very professional state of the art equipment and very clean thay removed all my teeth and gave me new dentures top and bottom hurt like hell for the first day but thay look grate so take some good pain meds and youl be fine aim very happy with there work and the city of algodones is the cleanest and safeest little city in mexico and the fish tacos are the best in the world love them i ate 22 fish tacos the first day there love that little city thanks Robert Baeza…….

The office is clean and the people working there are very friendly and with out a doubt they do excellent work. I had dentures made with a partial on the bottom and they look great, but the problem is you can not eat with them as the bottom flips around and hurts the gums. Yes they will correct the problem but you have to go back and it will take another three days. I tried to get a price adjustment and just take the loss but, no way. Amazing! My experience with Sani dental so far has been over-the-top professionalism at every stage of the process. I was looking at over $45k in the US and received better care for less than half that. I'm on my second visit and looking forward to an amazing smile. Thank you Sani from SLC, UT United States!

This is a group of individuals I would not deal with. It is a middle man making money on referrals.

I was EXTREMELY disappointed with my experience at Sani Dental Group. I wish I could rate them less than one star. My appointment was at 11:30 a.m. and did not leave until 4 p.m. and all I had done was ONE filling. I was told by another dentist in the United States that all I needed were four fillings so I decided to come to Sani because their fillings were cheap. Well they took x rays which I had to pay $60 for and then they tried telling me I might need ROOT CANALS!! After they decided that I DIDN'T need a root canal they were very sure that I needed FIVE crowns! And to be honest I don't know if they even fixed any of my cavities. They said I had decay underneath one of my old fillings so they took my old filling out and basically refilled it. To top everything off I can't even properly floss the tooth they filled due to some of the filling being in between my teeth. I actually feel stupid for letting them work on me at all. This has definitely been the worst dental experience ever! I WILL NOT be returning here and would not recommend this place to anyone!

THE ONLY WORDS NEEDED ARE AMAZING.... Dr paul Lopez was my dentist who turned my post chemotherapy smile full of chipped, cracked, broken and damaged teeth into one of a mouth full of pearly white teeth that were instantly ranked a movie star caliber smile!! I highly recommend going here for any and all dentistry, they really value patients here unlike the some United States dentist and best of all you can usually get reimbursed for any work you get done if you're with a decent PPO dental insurance. The work that wouldve cost 40-45k in the USA was just about 10k for a complete mouth restoration, root canals w/ post, 22 zirconium & porcelain fused to metal crowns made this a very enjoyable experience!!!! I cannot recommend this clinic enough

My husband got four wisdom teeth out here. It was as good an experience as oral surgery can be. The price was much, much lower than anyone here in the US could do. They were very patient-focused and respectful. Their office was clean, cool, and well organized. I will probably come back to get work done myself, and he intends to return for an implant when we can afford it. Mexican dentistry is a great solution for people who can't afford Arizona dentists, or even those who just want to save money. Their relationship with the Hotel Hacienda was also very convenient.

I was here two years ago and they BUTCHERED me! They put in 3 crowns, set them too deep, and now I have constant pain 2 years later! Yes, I can go back and have them redo it, but I live in Florida and cannot afford it. Also, two of the crowns needed root canals which they never did. This place used to be good when the owners actually worked there. Now they hire students with no experience to do the work cheaply. Go to ANY other place!!!

My dentist in the US gave me a quote for $18,000 for 5 root canals and 12 crowns and my insurance only covered $1200. I did a lot of research and looked at getting dental work done in Portugal, Thailand and Mexico. I decided on Mexico because of the cost. I called Sani Dental and spoke to Frank he was very helpful with providing a quote. Frank arranged transportation from Yuma airport to the hotel he booked me in Mexico . Then after checkin at the hotel Sani Dental picked up from the hotel and dropped me off at there platinum location. The people at the front desk were extremely nice and I meet a young lady that went over my paperwork. I then took an x ray of my whole month. Dr. Juan Carlos and David took me into the exam room and explained my treatment opposition. They were very help and didn't rush me through the process at all. The next day the sani dental shuttle picked me up at the hotel and brought me to the dentist. I met Dr Gisela and she preformed all five of my root canals. She was super genital and I didn't feel any discomfort. By far it was the best experience I've had with a root canal. The next day I meet with Dr Alan he grinded down my teeth for my caps. Dr Alan was by far one of the best dentist I've ever had. The work he did is amazing. The whole experience was amazing and I have very high expectations. I'll be coming back in a couple of months to do my bottom arch. Thank you Sani Dental for helping me save $15,000 and treating me like family.

I contacted sani because they seemed to have the best reviews. I was a bit nervous about seeing a dentist in Mexico, so I went to my dentist in Canada first to get a treatment plan put together. I needed two crowns, 8 fillings and two implants. After sending my plan off to sani they came back and told me that all 8 fillings needed root canals! When I showed up for my appointment they didn't have my name written down so they sent me over to one of their other two locations, who also didn't have my appointment booked. I asked them to speak to the dentist so I could find out why he thought I needed root canals instead of fillings but they refused, and told me that I needed to sit through an information session first. I left Sani Dental and ended up seeing Dr Jesse at Alberta Dental. They took really good care of me and my teeth look fantastic!

My husband and I stopped in the office at 9am to ask about teeth cleaning. The gal at the desk said they had openings at 9:30. We signed the paperwork and were asked to wait in the next hallway. Another gal came out at 9:30, took us in her office and gave us a checklist card. She wrote 9:32 on the card and said we would be called within 30 minutes. My husband was called in at 10:42 and I would be next. I waited 15 minutes after my husband came out and went to the front desk. The gal said she would check. She camb back and asked me to wait in the second hallway and it would be 10 minutes. The doctor and assistant came out of the lunchroom. The doctor got some water and went back into the lunchroom. The assistant went outside. After 10 minutes, I went to the front desk. She just shrugged when I told her I was still waiting. I left!

My partner went for two root canals 3 years ago, today we're coming back form the dentist from a re-do in one of them. The other one will have to be re-done in the upcoming weeks. They missed a whole root in each of her teeth. Not only will the two have to be re-done, but the infection spread to another tooth and she needs a third root canal. I believe this is because of how much they rush the doctors, they "completed" two root canals in less than a hour and a half, it took over two hours to fix one of them. Avoid this place at all cost, thousands of dollars wasted, and months of pain endured because they couldn't bother to do a proper job.

OK...this is the first review of what will be a series of reviews. I did consults with 3 different dental facilities in Los Algodones. We opted for Sani Dental Group because of some recommendations from friends. I actually had 2 consults. The first was for comparison purposes and the second one was after we decided to go with them. To be honest, I understand why but having a dentist do the consult and an an "accountant" keeping track was odd. The second consult was great given that I had a chance to review the first one and had several questions on what they identified. The plan will take several months to cover deep cleaning, 2 extractions, caps and implants. We all agreed on the plan. The problem is that the chronological organization of the plan was mucked up. I returned a couple days after the consult and there was confusion on what was to be done. It didn't help that we didn't see the DDS until 1.5 hours after the appointment. Things were getting a bit tense. Finally, I met with the DDS and we hashed out a better plan and opted for 2 extractions and bone grafts and a deep cleaning. We will then wait 3 weeks for everything to heal and do the crowns then. We will then return to them in early November for follow-up implant work. OK...so it was a mixed bag so far but I want to spend some time complimenting D.D.S. Omar Gerardo Valero Monroy. After we got into his treatment room and had concerns about things he spent a lot of time getting things sorted out and offering a better way to do things than the original plan called for. On top of that I was very comfortable with his procedural work. I had minimum discomfort during the procedure and felt his work was smooth and efficient. After the work we took new X-rays and he was right there when the results were in to review and discuss what was next. I like this guy! So...I'll keep things posted.

(Translated by Google) It is the most visited dental clinic in cottons, very modern and comfortable facilities, it can be said that it is the strongest clinic of all, however many patients say they no longer return there due to the poor service of the Dentists, they have even assured that not all they studied were only apprentices of dentists and they work as such, so you have to be careful.

I went in March for an extraction and 2 crowns. The work seemed to be good and the price was cheap enough. However, there is no concept of a person's time. You may wait 4 or more hours for your appointment. They kept assuring me that I was next and when I finally saw the dentist she said she was sorry and that she had no patients just that the front people failed to tell her I was waiting. I could get over that, but I have tried for 8 months to get the appropriate paperwork to file with my insurance. Not happy about that. Every time I call I am sent to another voicemail.

Second time back at Sani Dental Group. Have been bringing my employees for dental work.they have always hustled as much as they can get with prices being about 60 percent of what dentist in states would charge me. Now it is to late to build crowns and I have to come back. I had an implant it was times the price in Amarillo, it fits great and Doctor Paul Lopez did a great job. I have had 20 teeth crowned with Zirconia. They all fit perfect and do the job. Paul Lopez did great job! If you need dental work the only way you can get it cheaper is pull your teeth yourself. Highly recommended, staff is great , “Luis was rude,” but definitely worth going.

I was going to forget about this even though I lost thousands - yes, thousands - of dollars because I had implant work done at Sanidental in Los Algodones but decided I should at least try and warn others. Implants should last for a number of years but if you have problems Sani will hide behind its two year "guarantee," which if you think about it is a somewhat questionable guarantee when it comes to implants. I had five implants done and within two and a half years was told by my Canadian specialist that all implants had failed. I did not want to believe him and had it checked out by another specialist in Arizona. Since then the implants have over these last years one by one become loose and painful and with the exception of one I have had to pay more money to have them removed by a dentist. The final implant just came loose and fell out of my mouth without having to be extracted. I of course lost the crowns as well and as they were supporting small bridges I lost those extra crowns. No - I do NOT have osteoporosis or diabetes. I do not smoke and I do exercise. I am generally healthy. I did do my "due diligence" before I used Sani but the experience of the dentist doing the implants was misrepresented to me. I considered seeing if the person doing implants now was more experienced and giving Sani a chance to rectify the situation but that would involve two more trips to Los Algodones and the attendant time and expense for that. To be fair, I had additional crown work done at the same time which was okay and I was happy with that dentist. My last Canadian specialist told me I should sue Sani as it was unheard of for 5 implants all to fail but that would involve even more time and money and how would you enforce the judgment?? I asked for compensation but they refused to even discuss that possibility. So beware.

I am very happy with the attention to detail. I look forward to my next visit. Thanks for doing a great job.

I wish I could Sani Dental give less than a star. This is the worst place ever. Someone with no experience comes in to tell me that i need to have porcelain veneers on all my teeth. They botched it the first time and I had to fly back home to the states. I came back 2 months later and they did a worse job. There are huge spaces in between my teeth that large particles of food get stuck in and its very uncomfortable. The crowns were not sealed. Its so bad that everybody can tell i have fake teeth. Even kids. I met with the horrible Dr.Paul Lopez Hernandez the 2nd time. Their website states his only training is a CPR Resuscitation Course . I should have known it would turn out bad because he kept on asking the nurses for advice. They pay for reviews. Please do your research before going to Mexico and be extra careful about going to Sani Dental.

My husband had 12 crowns and a bridge done 5 years ago it was done over three consecutive days with a total of about a total of six to seven hours in the chair at the cost of about 1/10 th the cost in Canada they are doing just fine he is very happy with his experience there.

I have to say, everyone thought I was crazy when I said I was going to Mexico to have dental work done! A number of my clients have gone to Sani Dental so I gave it a try. My experience was wonderful! Not only did Dr Naomi fix my cracked crown, she was also kind, caring and did excellent work. I have never had a temporary crown that felt as good as the one she put on me. I also had deep root planing and she numbed me up great! I felt a little bit of discomfort and she was quick to inject that area again. Her assistant was also a sweetheart, he wiped my face when the water was spraying all over. I asked if I could get laser teeth whitening while I was there and she said I was not a candidate for that procedure as my teeth were already white enough..... so instead of taking my $200...... she said I didn't need it!!! Who does that??? No dentist office I've ever been in! The office is beautiful with state of the art xray imaging and was very clean! I'm going back in 6 months and looking forward to it!

Mitch Money

Sani dental is my families go to dental office. It is absolutely worth the trip. Not only is the office clean and modern, the staff professional and kind but they provide excellent dental work for a fraction of the cost in the states. My husband and mother had work done last year and we are going back for more. They were able to get my husband an appt this Saturday for an emergency extraction on a tooth that broke. All the dentists here want an expensive office visit before they will even schedule the extraction. Sani Dental is a lifesaver and we are very grateful they are an option for us.

Excellent team of Doctor, have almost all specialist. With appointments you don't have lng waiting times. Very professional and very clean office.

I went to Sani Dental for some inexpensive dental work and left with a crown I didn't need. The first dentist I saw was okay, he evaluated me and I was told that I needed a crown and a few fillings. Then I was brought to the second dentist that actually performed the work. I was quite numb from the injections and could barely feel my face, but it felt to me like she was working on the wrong tooth. As soon as I realized what she was doing I stopped her, but by that time the tooth had been drilled down to a stump. The interpreter came in the room and told me that I needed two crowns, not one, contradicting the findings of the first dentist. If I really needed a second crown, then they should have told me first, instead she just started drilling away. I'm not sure if this is a scam to make more money, or if she just didn't know how to read an x-ray. The crown that I actually needed was on a rear molar. Twice during the procedure she dropped the crown down my throat causing me to gag and spit up the crown. She was clearly very inexperienced, numerous times during the procedure she called in other dentists to help her. When I got back to the US I made an appointment with my regular dentist. He looked at Sani's x-rays and told me that I only needed the one crown on my molar. The other tooth had decay, but definitely did not need a crown. So this very dishonest and inept dentist at Sani destroyed a perfectly good tooth. I strongly warn others to stay away from this place. They are dishonest, and the dentist that treated me was clearly not ready to be doing crowns. If Sani were in the US they would have been shut down a long time ago.
