Very impressed with the efficiency and thoroughness of initial exam. The technicians were very friendly and sincere concerning my dental health. Took many x-rays and pictures to log each tooth for reference later if needed. Dr. Tran was quite thoughtful in her exam, which was more involved as I was accustomed from my previous dentist. Explained very precisely any potential bumps down the road. Had to choose a new dental office, as my dentist of 25+ years was no longer a preferred provider on my dental insurance. Looks like I made a wise choice in coming to Pinnacle Peak Family Dentistry.

I recently moved to Phoenix and was referred to Pinnacle Peak by a friend. They were very courteous, professional staff with great training, beautifu offices and cool gadgets to help you see and understand what the dentist is talking about. After 30 years of being told by other dentists my grinding wasn't causing problems, Pinnacle Peak used a camera to show me the marks my teeth had mad by clenching and grinding at night. After changing insurance in the past few months, I was desperate to find a new dentist. I called Pinnacle Peak Family Denistry after finding Dr. Sara Vizcarra's card at my gym, Core Fitness. Knowing that my gym is serious about health in all aspects, I knew that the owner, Corey Schidler, would not put out a business card of just anyone.I was excited to see that Pinnacle Peak Family Denistry was in my new insurance network. I called and was able to get an appointment the next day! While this is generally unheard of, I appreciated the accomodation as a new patient. From start to finish, the staff at Pinnacle was amazing. Kristen and Dr. Tran were awesome and patient as they went through a very comprehensive exam with me. They discussed possible concerns through pictures and images (of my skull!) and then created a comprehensive plan to meet my goal - to keep my teeth as long as possible. While, I do have to go in for some follow-up work, I know that my needs will be taken care of in a professional, clean, and safe environment.

Pinnacle Peak Family Dentistry is not like any other dentist office I have ever been to. You enter the waiting room that feels like your own living room. The staff is super friendly, smiling and greet you by your name before you even check in. Everyone is very professional. There is even a TV mounted on the ceiling to watch while the dentist or hygienist do there work. They even give out welcome gifts when you come for your first visit. This is the first medical office I have ever been to where the patients seem to want to hang out with the staff and not leave. I recommend this place 100%

My first visit with Dr Tran was truly outstanding. Unfortunately, an upper crown broke away the day before my visit. The office responded to my call in an expeditious manner. After Xrays were taken, it was determined that the existing tooth had deteriorated and fractured. Dr Tran thoroughly explained the situation and possible options that may be undertaken. Further evaluation was scheduled. Dr Tran and her staff could not be nicer. The office facilities are excellent. I look forward to further dental work with this Dentistry.

Coming from a "dental family" my dental health has always been on the top of my priority list. However, I never realized that the 20+ years I spent in Scottsdale under the same dentist's care- was detrimental. One visit to PPFD and I am back on the right track. From the welcoming front desk staff, to the beautiful decor, I felt quite relaxed. The hygienist was friendly, knowledgeable, and comforting as she walked me through their detailed first exam. Dr. Sara was MARVELOUS as she explained all of my issues and gave detailed descriptions of solutions. I never felt pressured to spend money- I know the road ahead will be filled with repairs-to undo past, neglected problems- but I FINALLY feel that I am in good hands! I made my first appointment with this office last week (they were wonderful and got me in right away) for an exam and to determine the cause of some discomfort I was experiencing with an older crown. The staff was wonderful, from the front desk, to the dental assistants to the doctor. While I loved my Ohio dentist who had been taking care of my family for 25 years, I must say that they put me at ease right away and may have done the most comprehensive exam I have ever had. There were multiple issues needing to be addressed, but there was no pressure to schedule it all right away. The doctor went through and mapped out a plan for treatment and the front desk sent me home with a detailed explanation of the work and my out of pocket costs after insurance. Deep down thought it was a great environment, great atmosphere, and a lot of great people. The building is very easy to spot due to its very visible sign while you are driving. And it is a convenient spot for people to get to easily, especially coming from a person who lives far away from most places. Great views of the mountain from inside of the building when you are getting your teeth done. The place is well kept and very organized. Interior decorating was very nice and has a very soothing waiting area. The bathrooms are really clean. I have to admit that I have had bad experiences with dentists in the past. I actually scheduled my daughter here first (to check them out). She was blown away by the professional/friendliness from everyone there. I immediately scheduled my appointment knowing I had several issues from cavities to broken bridge and crown. WOW! That is the only way to descried my experience. On my first visit the greeting as I walked through the front door made me think I had been coming here for years. First with Monica, she calls herself a Registered Dental Hygienist. Ha! I am a 55 yr old grand-father and she treated me like I was her grand-father…she even laughed at my silly jokes…Her patient care and communication is second to none. Second visit, Dr. Sara and Laura make a terrific team. Both are extremely busy yet when they were with me – there was nothing else going on around them – extremely focused on my comfort, understanding and care. To say that I would recommend this practice doesn’t do it justice. Make no mistake, they are without a doubt, the best in the business.

As an Orthopedic surgeon who comes from a family of medical professionals including dentists and orthodontists, I am very picky with any health related provider for me and my family. This includes our dentist. Having just lost a tooth and requiring an implant because of a missed issue from my dentist, i decided to make a change. I had my 1st appointment today. WHat a difference!! Not only was the hygenist amazing- thorough, fast, efficient but most of all very knowledgable, but the attention to detail by the dentist and staff was better than any I have experienced by a dental practice in 50+ years. State of the art in every way and found out I have a few issues - which were clearly demonstrated on imaging/pictures of each tooth- which also could have possibly been avoided if I had been receiving this level of care all along. I had a full evaluation and prelim cleaning in one sitting and never was picthed the usual dental "potpourri" of cosmetic "must haves" that many claim are needed today. WHile they offer everything as would be expected, first and foremost they focus on dental health! No gouging, up-selling etc. The rest of my family be chaning and I will certainly refer others!

On my first appointment, I had a panoramic xray (I have never had xray like this before) it is great! Also, all the staff has been wonderful and you are able to get an appointment quickly. Susan was very proactive with my Insurance Company and made sure my Insurance would cover the appointment I had with Dr. Vizcarra. When I met with Dr. Vizcarra, she told me about a medical condition that I have that no other dentist had ever brought to my attention. LIke millions (it seems) we just moved to Scottsdale from Denver. One of the elements of a move we were concerned with was finding a dentist. We loved our Colorado dentist - the care, convenience, office environment, etc... My wife found the closest one and with trepidation we both made our first visit. 1. The office staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. I was there at 6:50am (opens at 7) so witnessed the team coming into the office - all of them had smiles and looked like they generally enjoyed their jobs. 2. Great location and beautiful office surroundings... coffee, water and great lobby area. 3. super thorough and high tech. Having moved quite a few times given my Air Force career - I'm used to the typical head scans, baselining, etc... when you come into a new practice. This was more thorough of a baseline with pictures, scans, etc then we have had. 4. Very collaborative. I've been to many places where they are pushing you to do work... here they are no question firm in their opinions as to where you stand in your oral health but they are collaborative and fully explain the science behind their recommendations. All in all a great start to our relationship and a reason they are named a top dentist operation in Scottsdale.

I decided to transition my 15 year old from a pediatric dentist to an adult dentist. I will say that I was blown away, the level of care that Dr. Vizcarra offers to her patients, is like no other. Every new patient gets a gift bag with goodies with items that you will actually use. As for the care she is extremely thorough, unlike any dentist that we have ever been to. The 3D x-rays, let's just say that she knew things about my son's health that no other dentist has ever found. She also found more cavities than the pediatric dentist.
