Very irritating! The billing process is horrible!!! They say we’ll call you back and never do! In addition, to sending countless bills and I have insurance where do they do that at? I’ll tell you Gentle Dental!!!!! FYI stay away and find any other dentistry to go to! Want to have great dental services with no hassle? Simple say no to not so Gentle Dental!

Everyone was nice and the orthodontist, was good and quick, I had to have 2 wisdom teeth removed, the only problem was they didn't explain the aftercare and why you aren't supposed to do certain things after the surgery, and how important, the afteraftercare is

They waited an entire week until 10 minutes before my appointment to let me know that they won’t take my insurance, put me on the spot, and decided they couldn’t take me anymore because I said I would be 10 minutes late after having to immediately figure out whether I wanted to spend $480 out of pocket. I switched my entire day around for the appointment that ended up getting cancelled due to lack of planning. I won’t be returning.

Came here because my wisdom teeth are impacted. They told me they'd have to have me see their oral surgeon who is only in office once a month. Show up to appt a week later to find out I was at the wrong location. Find out and head to correct location only to find out that said oral surgeon didn't work at specific location. Now I have another appt scheduled with another office and hopefully it's the correct one. I hate the dentist, this has been just a wonderful experience!

My kids and I have been going to Gentle Dental for years. Dr. Hall and the rest of the staff are amazing! My own dental needs are pretty extreme and they have been there for me every step of the way- whether it’s an emergency, or keeping up with my regular maintenance to help me with figuring out the best treatment plan that fits my budget. I actually look forward to going to the dentist. When calling to make an appointment, Jessica and all the ladies up front are super friendly and if I need an appointment they are able to work us in or are great about working around my kids’ busy schedule. I highly recommend this office.

Everyone's very nice and the appts are always on time (much better than the 45 minutes I usually wait at the docs office to see anyone). I think they saw right though my floss-for-a-week-before-the-appt routine though... being an adult is hard.

Gentle Dental Greenfield is a great place. Been going there for years & have always gotten great service. Friendly, helpful, and most importantly, competent staff. Dr. Hall is a treasure. Could pick many another dental office as it's a 10 mile drive to this one but I have no plans on changing.

Wish I could give a 0! Took my 2 year old here only for the doctor to lift up his lip and say he has to go see a specialist then sends us a $74 eval bill..contacting channel 3 news this is highway robbery! I don't mind paying a office vist fee which are normally 35-50$$ but this was no eval it literally took them 1 second to look and tell us this. They didn't look inside his mouth, back of teeth no nothing!

My mother went here for a painful dental emergency and it was absolutely amazing. We’ve had experience with shady dentist offices before and this was completely unlike any of them. Her oral surgeon, Amogh Velangi was so great! He was gentle and understanding, he answered all of her questions and got the job done quick and painlessly. She is already feeling so much better. Answers all your questions, and does not try to pressure you into unnecessary treatments. I love that she is my dentist. Cathleen was my hygienist, the gentlest I have ever had. I was referred to An Elegant Smile when I needed an emergency crown and I made an appointment since the price they quoted was lower than my regular dentist. I arrived at my appointment and the woman rudely told me they could no longer get me in at the time they had told me on the phone and that I could come back in a few hours and then they'd probably see me. They didn't call me first or apologize. When I came back they did see me. The dentist wasn't very friendly or professional. She stated that she wouldn't be able to do a crown and I'd need an implant which was significantly more expensive. She said she was unable to even put in a temporary crown. When I was checking out they then tried to charge me $118 for the appointment after I had specifically been told on the phone that the appointment would be free. They got snide very fast. I went back to my original dentist and learned sometimes it's just worth paying more to have a good professional environment. He by the way had no problem putting in a temporary crown or a permanent one.

While the treatment administered by the practitioners was very good, the methods used by the finance off staff was terrible. I was humiliated and left in tears. I had received a bill that I didn't understand and asked about it as soon as I arrived. I thought I had paid everything I owed at the two locations I had visited but continued to receive bills for additional fees. I was told not to worry about it. Once in the chair with the bib around my neck and in a reclined position, (I must pre-medicate with a large dose of antibiotics which usually make me feel ill) I was approached by the office girl who showed me my 'past due' bill and asked if I intended to pay it 'today as well as the day's fee'. She ran back and forth between me and her office manager and then came back and told me that since we had spent so much time talking about the finances, the practitioner was now behind schedule and I would need to reschedule or wait for her to have an opening in her schedule. I told her that we were done for the day and as I got out of the chair she asked me repeatedly if I wanted to speak with the office manager. I was a patient of An Elegant Smile for years and then the were bought out by GD. I have been to two GD locations for various procedures since Spring of 2016 and paid about $2000 out of pocket after the insurance. The treatment was excellent while the finance dealings at both locations was a nightmare.

I very rarely write a review. I feel I must let everyone know about my experience at Gental dental on Greenfield rd in mesa. First of all I am not a fan of going to the dentist. Everyone in this office was very professional and extremely courteous and knowledgeable. I had by far the best cleaning I have ever had! I will not hesitate to go back. In fact I almost look forward to going back!

Gentle Dental has well trained professional dental assistants and dentists, but there administrative staff is terrible. When having any work done at this location, be sure to bring any estimates they provide you. They will often over charge or charge for additional services not performed. Their administrative staff is very poor at responding to voicemails, or calling back when they say they will. Overall my experience with the office staff (though polite) has been very poor. Due to how poorly this office is managed, I am very much considering changing my primary dentist.

But I can easily say this is the best dentist I’ve ever been to and for the first time, can enthusiastically recommend it to others! I have finally found a place, where I feel comfortable and at ease. I have an irrational fear of the dentist and due to that fear, it took me 10 years to finally get in there and fix things that had been a problem for a while. Along with that irrational fear is just general embarrassment of how things were. I shared this when I first called to make my appointment as a broken tooth had finally done me in and I had to go. The front office staff was very kind and let me know that this was a non-judgment kind of place. The thought of still going still made me sick (especially thinking of that Novocain shot), but that put me a little at ease. I kept my appointment (without cancelling!) and I am so happy I did. My dentist was a lovely women named Emily Hall. By far the best dentist I have ever had (not that I have seen a lot, 10 year gap and such). She was very kind, stated the facts, and the laid out a nice plan of attack. Not only that, with my treatment plan being a little long with a deep cleaning and cavities that needed attention (which was a good high number), they obliged my request to do all of this in a few appointments possible. In 2 appointments I was able to accomplish my initial treatment plan. That's a lot of time in the chair, 4 hours to be exact on second visit. I appreciated it so much that they accommodated that, as I know they were exhausted after my appointment (I was too, but I just had to lay there!), and I also very much appreciated my nice smile, it looks great. She is also gentle with those dang shots, and talks you through it when she knows it's going to hurt. I have a bit more work that needs done, but can honestly say I will be keeping my appointments. I would also like to say that her assistant and the hygienist I saw on my first appointment were awesome as well, I am just horrible with names. Thanks Gentle Dental :)

I want to give An Elegant Smile a good review. Based on earlier reviews I can relate to the appointment scheduling. I've been taking my children there for almost 4 years now and have had many rescheduling conflicts or just showing up for appointments and being notified that the hygienist has left or the appointment was not for that day. Waste of gas yes but hey with the service you receive it makes up for it. I have a 15 year old son with Asbergers and he can be a challenge to do work on. They are true professionals in dealing with him. As long as you take your time and notify him about what your about to do he will let you. If you don't answer his questions or keep him up to date with whats going on he will fight you tooth and nail. I wish I knew the hygentist name who worked with him recently. She is so cute and small, and she handled my son like a pro. She talked to him the whole time, held his hand when needed, and kept his spirits up the whole time during the procedure. The care you receive there is truly professional. I recently went in after 13 years of not seeing a dentist and they didn't lecture me nor did they try to push procedures on me that I didn't need. The office is beautiful and well maintained. I would recommend this dentist office to my friends and family. Thank you for your patience and understanding with my son.

I really like the Greenfield Gentle Dental staff and have been going there for many years. Today I had to cancel an appointment however, as the office would not take the time to look up my BCBS dental insurance benefits. I've contacted them 5 times this year asking them to update and confirm my insurance information and they kept saying they would look it up and get back to me, but they never did. I don't understand what is going on here. I didn't have any problems back when they were called An Elegant Smile. Please accept my apologies, Dr. Hall and Cathleen for the short cancellation notice. I had assumed that as my appointment got closer, someone would finally take a couple minutes to help me out.
