My sons first dental appointment was actually fun. The words 'fun' and 'dentist' are not typically said in the same sentence. But it's the only way to describe the visit. Everyone was so pleasant, from the easy check in, to the dental assistant who room is back, to the dentist himself. I am so happy I found such a wonderful group of people who made my sons visit memorable!

Dr. Tim and his staff are top-notch experts at dentistry AND at dealing with pediatric dental patients. I was nervous about my son having two teeth extracted (for orthodontic reasons) today, but kept that to myself, and Dr. Tim and staff made it fast, easy, and maybe even a little fun...? His dad told my son he was "a tough hombre" afterward, and my son was genuinely puzzled, because no toughness was required during that exquisitely performed procedure. Best of the best!

What a great experience! From walking in through the little door, to playing in the playhouse, to meeting the hygienist and doctor, my daughter loved her visit. My four year old, who loves anything to do with the body, was super excited about getting an x-ray, and Dr. Danielle printed her x-ray pictures for her, and also sent her home with gloves, masks, and a dental mirror. Affiliated Pediatric Dentistry is the best! I had a great appointment today with Dr. Danielle. She is kind, caring, gentle, and so patient with my 6 year old. She made the experience so fun and was great at distracting while pulling a baby tooth that had to come out. We also see Dr. Itty for cleanings and regular check-ups. He is so genuine and makes sure to talk to all his patients. We never feel rushed and my daughter enjoys going. Nothing but amazing and fantastic things to say about this office. I have been bringing my two daughters to APDO since they were one year old and have had the best experience. They are now eight and twelve. The assistants and dentists have been very informative and friendly. The office is cheerful for not only little kids but teenage kids as well. I've been going to this dentistry building since I was very young and they have always done a superb job. Concerning this last visit, I had to get a filing and it is an understatement to say that I have a phobia of needles. I also am distrustful of dentists/doctors because often times they don't take me seriously. I was nervous about seeing Dr. Chad because I did not know him and my usual dental assistant friend, Heather, was not available (she gets my phobia 100%). Dr. Chad was respectful of my fear, listened, and did a wonderful job. His assistant, Melissa was so cheerful and bubbly. They both checked in on my pain level constantly while still respecting my wishes to not use the needle injected numbing medicine. It just reaffirmed that even the new faces at this office are warm and friendly as well as skilled and professional.

Even though it was obvious at an early age that I would need to get braces, I cried when I heard the news. The idea of being a metal-mouth horrified me as a young teenager, but Dr. Goldstein and his staff were extremely empathetic towards my concerns. Not only was the process surprisingly quick, but the atmosphere was always inviting and enthusiastic. I found myself looking forward to my monthly visits rather than dreading them. The day I got my braces off, I was astonished with how incredible my smile looked! Furthermore, everyone on staff celebrated with me, which, although it may seem small and insignificant, made the big day that much more memorable. This visit was for my son Julian and we go see Dr. Tim. My son had a very serious tooth injury a couple of years ago and Dr. Tim has done a wonderful job communicating with the endodontist and us. Through Dr. Tim's guidance and care, it appears the tooth is healed for now so we just need to keep doing what we're doing in hopes that the root continues to stay alive. If they hadn't of said anything I would have had to come up with over 200 dollars. They didn't have to let me know about this and I appreciate it. I help a friend advocate for the medical care of her 3 yo daughter who is a heart transplant recipient. The little girl had 3 cavities due the immunosuppressant drugs and high calorie, high sugar, supplement drinks she takes because of her transplant. Dr. Danielle was so nice and very professional. Highly recommend, especially for the little ones who have special medical needs.

Love, love, love this dentist office! The waiting area is perfect to entertain my son while we wait. The staff is extremely pleasant and energetic, it makes him happy to come there. When our son leaves, he gets tokens for having great teeth which he can in turn put in to the toy dispenser and receive prizes. For our 2 year old son's first appointment we were debating between bring him to a pediatric dentist or our own family dentist that we love. After our experience with Dr. Tim and staff and APDO, I am 100% convinced we made the right decision. From the fun waiting room to the friendly staff, the entire office is made for children. Our son did better than I would have thought possible, and everyone was so patient with him. We are all very happy customers and I would recommend this office to anyone with children!

The level of ineptitude in this practice is astounding. We will be one-time patients and strongly discourage any parent subjecting their child to the incompetence here. Our 13-month-old son went for his first check-up and was tortured by the hygienist and dentist. He is a very calm boy who has no problem brushing his teeth or allowing mom or dad to help him brush. Yet they had him in near hysterics for the entire appointment! They were completely disorganized and unprepared for the appointment - had to run around to get additional items while our son was screaming. The only information provided was that he had 4 teeth starting to push through. Not a word was offered about the health of his teeth and gums, nor were any questions asked about his oral hygiene practices. We had to ask about everything to get any sort of information. When setting the appointment, I was quoted a rate of $45 for the exam and $65 for fluoride treatment. Despite explicitly telling them we do not want fluoride painted on our son's teeth when setting the appointment, they tried to apply it anyway saying they were going to paint on "vitamins". Fortunately, my wife verified it was, in fact, fluoride and stopped them in time. To add insult to injury, they tried to charge us $130 after the appointment. We told them we would pay the $45 we were quoted for the exam and the billing employee responded "it says here in the notes you were quoted $110." That's right! For exam and fluoride, the latter of which was declined. So why did they just try to charge us $130 if those notes were in the computer? Ineptitude is a gracious qualification - dishonest could easily be justified as well. We will be lodging a complaint with the Arizona State Board of Dental Examiners and the BBB. Caveat emptor.

Always a 10+++. Courteous and friendly staff. For over 16years I have never had to wait past my appointment times for my boys. Highly professional and experienced staff and dentists. Very proactive about setting appointments and procedures as well as educating us about future issues.

I don't understand the high ratings for this place. I only found two things that I found to be 4 star here: 1) the waiting area 2) the dental assistant. The front desk person was grumpy and presumptuous. The dentist was unhelpful and rude to her staff. I asked the dentist a few questions regarding after-care and she answered in a vague way. I attempted to ask specific questions, but she gave a shrug and continued to give vague comments. I asked the same questions to the assistant, who then asked the dentist again later. The dentist gave her this look and said "we have already reviewed these questions" (while never looking to me to see if I was in agreement). We moved back and forth between rooms multiple times. In the end, I spent quite a bit of money there only to end up at another dentist 6 days later to have my 6 year old's teeth (4 teeth from an injury) extracted and treated for a dental abscess.

Recently, when our son's orthodontic appliance broke, they were able to accommodate our schedule and work us in. We have gone to this office since my children were very young. They are now in college. The care and thoughtfulness that the entire staff have shown my children is amazing. Dr. Goldstein is their ortho. Both of the children have beautifully straight teeth. He has walked us through braces and jaw surgery for my daughter. He happily collaborated with our oral surgeon and even gave her a beautiful gift basket before her surgery. He is kind and genuinely cares about his patients. Dr. Chaet was their dentist for many years but he has since retired. We now see Dr. Tim and Dr. Danielle. They have been amazing with my children. They both take the extra time to talk with you and make sure that your comfortable and understand each step of a treatment. It is such a friendly and fun place. I highly recommend this office. I brought my reluctant 3 year old to see Dr. Tim. From the moment we walked in the door, I could see that my son was at ease. He LOVED playing in the tree house in the lobby. He loved going into Beth's office and seeing so many toys, but we really hit the jackpot when we met Dr. Tim. Our son has always been a reluctant participant in brushing his teeth and previous attempts for my dentist to count his teeth were unsuccessful. Dr. Tim walked in and immediately connected with my son over the movie Cars. THANK YOU SO MUCH for knowing the movie as well as we do. While reciting lines and plot lines from the movie, Dr. Tim was not only able to successfully look into my son's mouth, but he was also able to give him a fluoride treatment. Loved, loved, loved Dr. Tim and how he interacted with my children. He was fun and playful and even sang to my 2-year old getting him relaxed and laughing to the point that he let him floss his teeth (and his stuffed dino). My biggest and only beef is that the practice is out of network and the fees billed are substantially higher than what my insurance considers reasonable and customer, so we pay a lot out of pocket.

My husband was in a terrible motorcycle accident and was unable to work for over a year. It was time for my daughter to get her braces but we were not in a financial position to get started. I was a patient of Dr. Chaet's when I was a little girl and had to be kicked out of the office when I turned 18 because I did not want to leave them. Dr. Tim Wilson is so kind to the kids and makes a visit to the dentist fun. The whole office is kid-focused, but they are serious about dental health and appropriate care. We have to come in every 3 months because of enamel hypoplasia, so we are there a lot, and we drive across town to get there. One of my girls said she wants to be a dentist after a recent visit.

We live in the Northwest valley, and will always make the trip, and it's more than worth it! At a very young age, my son had to have 2 root canals and crowns. Dr. Tim and Chaet went out of their way to make sure that until his permanent front teeth came in, he would have a beautiful smile with pearly white crowns. They went the extra 10 miles with the thought of my child and his smile. The doctors to include the anesthesiologist took care of my son as if he were there own. Everyone in the orthodontics office is always friendly, efficient, helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. Some doctors/dentists/orthodontists (and their staff) can make the patients and/or the parents feel anxious or uncomfortable....for any number of reasons. At APDO we have always felt at ease. This comes from competent and kind staff members. Our experiences our consistently positive...it isn't just one or two of the staff members or just one or two positive experiences. It is every time we visit the office (or even call in for that matter). It seems as though APDO really understands the importance of the whole experience. For those of us who will have more than one child in braces, it means that we will be visiting the office for not just one year, but for a few years.
