I have been suffering from gum disease last 10 years and had 3 gum surgeries before I found Dr. Mary Alexander. First of all she took my anxiety away when going to the dentist office, second I had a very quick recovery and incredible results after my gum surgery with her! I don’t have nightmares anymore to loose all my teeth at early age. Plus her humble and friendly personality makes my each visit more pleasant.

I would say borderline unprofessional . Long wait time without communicating any thing to me. Then the doctor came and went like an invisible ghost without any instroduction and almost forcing me to take procedures, like saying hey i am scheduling you for tuesday for ..... and seemed i didnot have a say or opinion on that. Choose to do my wisdom tooth extraction from somewhere else and am super happy about it.

If I could I would give this place no stars. I am a big reviewer so I always give my honest opinion so i hesitated about doing this review but I feel like people need to know... I admit, I hate the dentist and have not been in years. I saw this place opened and the environment looked friendly, technology advanced and was close to home. Let me say not everything was bad but you be the judge of that. The Receptionist and dental assistant was very friendly and helpful. They did do a good job to get me in because I had a tooth ache. The Dr. however is not so great which turned the experience into an unforgettable and unforgivable one. I know a lot of people hate the dentist so when we go to a new office we have hopes that everything will go well. Dr. Asha made both my husband and I feel really bad about our teeth which was not comforting at all. Almost as if our gums were going to detach from the teeth. I know no one was perfect and since I haven't been to the dentist in years I knew I would hear some bad news. But it was not the bad news that bothered me, it was the tone and the way she said it. Dr. Asha also made a bigger deal about my tooth problem then the endodontist who was specialized in root canals which is what I needed. Also I had to ask multiple times for a price quote of all the procedures that I needed done (long term) and it was like pulling teeth to get them. They also charge an extra $400 lab fee (when its the dentist that should absorb that fee) and not the consumer. My husband also got a cavity filled there and he still has filling on the side of his tooth, which makes it seem like they were not careful with the cavity filling. This office brought back the fear of why I stayed away from the dentist for years and had it not been for another dentist and comparing the prices (with benefits) and treatment, they helped me overcome the awful feeling that I felt. I should had paid attention to the other reviews because for some reason their prices (in network) are significantly higher than normal. Lesson learned, don't be fooled by the appearance of the office because what matters is who actually takes care of you in the end. I will never trust this place ever again!

Incompetent Staff!! I had some poor work done at another dentist and had a tooth exposed that needed repairs. I called them and hoped they would help me out and made an in-person visit to their office to get this kicked-off properly. They refused to call and get fee schedules from my insurances. They refused to call during a lull period during the holidays despite me telling them my insurance companies were open. They refused to give me copies of my records so I could move elsewhere. Refused to communicate by email despite giving me email to contact them. I finally had to visit in-person and still wasn’t able to resolve my issues. I felt the excuses the staff gave were simply nonsense. They have nice offices but if staff is incompetent and create more problems for you of what value is that? I will be reporting them to the Maryland Dental Association.

I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Sreeni, surgical doctor and his team at Total Dental Care. I had oral surgery 2 weeks ago and was nervous at first. Dr. Sreeni and his team took the time to explain the procedure, the preparations, the recovery, and the financials in detail to me. I truly appreciate the time they took to explain everything, as I was able to see the entire picture of what was involved. Knowing the plan of action, I felt more comfortable and at ease. I knew I was in good hands. Dr. Sreeni is knowledgeable, professional, experienced, and caring. He also has a caring, kind, and well-trained team. Pranshu, the surgical assistant, talked to me before and after the surgery. I appreciate how she sincerely cares and took care of me. At my post op checkup, Dr. Sreeni made sure I understood the next steps. Again, he and his team shared with me the next plan of action in detail. They also answered any questions I had. Natalia, Patient Care Coordinator, not only walked me through the financials, but also gave me great comfort when I called the day before the surgery and asked many questions. She is patient and always takes time to provide accurate answers to my questions. There are others who took the time to make me feel welcomed and cared for: David (surgical assistant), Beatrice (Patient Care Coordinator), Elissaha (Treatment Coordinator)... etc. I am grateful for Dr. Sreeni and his team for the level of professionalism and the excellent work they do to care for my family’s long-term dental health.

We had a horrible experience at this location. The staff here was extremely disrespectful and disingenuous. They wasted our time and then tried to charge us even though we had insurance coverage. Although we have insurance instead of calling the insurance company to get the details of the coverage the staff say "were not that expensive we have deals just pay out of pocket.". Wow! When the front desk can't handle insurance you know you're in the wrong place.

I only got my lower wisdom teeth extracted because Dr Sreeni didn't think the top ones needed to be removed. Dr Sreeni is very honest and lets you know what is necessary for your optimal health. He and his team went over everything in detail with me before, during, and after the procedure. The steps leading up to my sedation were explained along the way and I woke up with no pain or complications. I think the best part was when I could feel myself drifting off as he was talking. Dr Sreeni even called me that night to see how I was doing. 10/10 would recommend :)

They are always late for scheduled appointments (sometimes up to an hour in the waiting room), and are not clear at all about their billing practices. On a previous visit, they gave the impression that even though they were out of network with my insurance, they would accept my insurance's payment and not require I pay the difference out of pocket. This time, I came in for a routine cleaning and to get replacement for my broken retainer. They convinced me that I should get a night guard instead, which is much more expensive. They told me up front and unequivocally that it would be fully covered by my insurance. During this time, they told me to stop wearing the broken retainer. It took them 3 weeks to make the night guard, and by the end of the first week wearing it, a gap was forming in my teeth, and I needed to come back and get a new retainer made (which is what I originally asked for). And on top of that, the retainer seems to have a defect they are unwilling to acknowledge. Now I'm on the hook for over half the (excessive) price for a night guard I cannot use and did not want in the first place. All I wanted was a new retainer when my old one broke. Instead, I've spent countless hours in that office during my work hours, am on the hook for over $500 worth of work they said my insurance would cover (it won't), and had to endure the pain of realigning my teeth after I was advised to stop wearing my retainer. At least the staff are nice and the office looks modern...

We started coming here last year when we moved into the area. The staff is courteous, friendly and very helpful. My sons first real dental procedure was done here and with his ADHD he was very apprehensive. They had patience worked with him and he doesn’t fear the dentist now which is an accomplishment with anyone.

Dr. Alexandar came at the recommendation of a friend. Going to the dentist is not the most pleasant trips to the doctor usually, but this was different. First off the office was impeccable from the minute I walked in. The treatment area was very clean, comforting and the chairs relaxing. When it comes to the drills, I'm particular on hygiene and everything looked properly sterilized. That's just the office! My favorite part of my visit though, is that Dr. Alexander took the time to educate me on the health of my teeth and gums. She informed me of the importance of my periodontal health in relation to attempting to conceive a child. I had not thought how this could affect my fertility treatments. She also went over my xrays to show me the health of my bone density. It was the most educational dental visit I have ever had (most just talk cavities)! And to boot, it didn't even hurt that much considering she gave me a full gum and dental cleaning. I recommend her to anyone looking for more than a dentist that just talks cavities and really looks at your whole health.

They helped me believe in dentists again! Very friendly, within a few days they remember me. Fees treatment schedule and home instructions are always provided in detail. But if for any reason it is not clear, I can call, email or even text and someone will get back with me. I had all my wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Sreenivasan. He followed up with me later on the same day of the surgery and was available for me when I called with questions. Great guy! Also Dr. Narendra could not be sweeter! She is the one who first saw me and she has provided so much guidance and support to me throughout my treatment. I will definitely come back and I'm bringing my whole family. I wish I could remember everyone's name to list them here but front the front desk all the day to the back. They are great!

The delay is unacceptable for my standards, especially when you wait for 32 mins from your scheduled appointment time. The only reason I give them 2 stars is because the office looks clean and presentable. Other reason I give them 2 stars is because they have been financially helpful. But attention to detail and timely scheduling is very important to me and to a family that involves kids. Idk if recommend this place at this time.

Although my current health plan will only cover my dental visits twice a year, I appreciate the FANTABULOUS job that Dr. Harper, Dr. George and the hygienists do so much to keep my teeth, gums and mouth in great condition that I am willing to pay out-of-pocket myself for a 3rd visit cleaning to keep my teeth looking both healthy and white! Total Dental Care is also very community minded and supports a very large number of charitable organizations. In addition, they provide FREE dental care a couple of times a year to individuals who cannot afford to see a dentist! NEVER in my 50+ years have I ever looked forward to my dental appointments until I started going to Total Dental Care! They have managed to take away the fears and pain I experienced throughout those years and replaced it with one big, ole' happy and proud SMILE! I even took 4 exrays but they insisted on a 5th before agreeing to performing a simple cleaning. In my case, patient prefrences are not considered over what appears, an impersonal, corporate-culture, mandatory exray-protocols. Low patient choice.

I saw Dr. Sreenivasan . When my insurance would not cover the 3D image, I was charged $375. When I asked if there was some other way to look at this issue the dentist said 'not if you want to find out if you have cancer.' I have never been in exam chair and asked for my credit card before treatment. So feeling somewhat pressured, I went ahead and paid. The next day I asked if the Dentist would adjust the bill as I was paying out of pocket,(I know some Drs. who have done this) I was told she would have to talk to the Doctor who was out for the July 4 holiday. When I called again I was told he was on vacation...."after all it is summer!" I was reminded. Still no answer after a month. Additionally the young woman who took me back to the room and asked me about my health history for 15 mins. never introduced herself...as it was my first visit I thought maybe she was the dentist. it was my last visit.

Total Dental Care is a great dental office. It is a newer office and clean with wonderful staff and dentists. Dr. Asha Narendra is incredibly thorough and one of the best dentists I have been to. She has been my dentist some time and highly recommend her. The staff are very flexible and friendly. Total dental care has great hours too, very accommodating. The equipment is new too.

For someone who does not like going to the dentist and my scare level is 10, the highest. If this sound familiar you are in the right place. Just the sound of the drill gets me out of my seat but Dr. Narendra has a very nurturing and reassuring and comforting personality. She explained everything before. I have come for quite a few services and she's always through at explaining what services I need. Doesn't push services on me either. Dr. Sreeni is the best oral surgeon. I had wisdom tooth extraction and I was super nervous at the day of surgery. With IV medication , went to sleep . When I woke up I was completely amazed with the entire process . My swelling was minimal and recovery was very good. Overall my big nightmare vanished like magic. This office has everything we look for, modern, all under one roof( General dentist, pediatrics, periodontist, oral surgeon, orthodontist), friendly, kids friendly and amazing office staff like me :) . Thank you Total Dental care for the care they give to me and my family with dental needs.

I had my first cleaning appointment at Total Dental Care in Guntersville today. I had such a great experience. It was a beautiful office that made me feel at home. All of the staff had a polite and helpful attitude. Sharon Saylor was my hygienist and she did an amazing job at explaining everything and making me feel comfortable. Dr. Baker was very kind and also explained everything thoroughly and answered any questions I had. I will definitely continue to use their services!

Don't go here! This dentist office is horrible! They charged me $20 more than they said my appointment would be. They told me that I had a cavity under my filling and that I would have to get a crown on my tooth. It was going to be over $900. I went and got a second opinion and the only thing that was wrong was my gum is receding and was causing sensitivity to my tooth. The other dentist told me to start using sensitive tooth paste and the problem went away! Very dishonest money hungry dentists!!!!! Do your mouth and pocket book a favor and go anywhere else!

I am always very pleased with all the staff at Total Dental Care. I went in very nervous today about having a root canal and an extraction but Dr. Harper and Angela were awesome. They were very caring and explained everything they were doing which made me feel better too. I returned later in the afternoon for checkups for my kids. It's the only practice we have been to that my youngest goes willing through the door. They love Gina and Dr. Harper. I would recommend TDC to anyone! Thank you to all the staff at TDC for all you do.
