The dental work is good. The front desk people are nice. The people that work in the back need to up their personalit and the way they interact with patients. I'm terrified of dentist but yet they continued to discuss my treatment with someone they were teaching in my presence . Please do that out of eat shot. It made me more nervous.

I have always received excellent care and service from this practice. Employees Katie and Brittney were very gentle and knowledgeable and created a very pleasant experience on my most recent visit. I have had a root canal at this facility and was surprised to not feel even feel the Lidocaine shots that usually are quite painful. The doctor ensured I was properly numbed up and comfortable and performed a speedy operation. If you're looking for a new dental practice in Mobile, this is where you want to go.

I can not say enough good things about Northcutt Dental! First let me say that my husband is military and we move often, so I have had several dentists in the last 5 years, and Dr. Mason and her staff are INCREDIBLE! The office is modern and clean, while the staff is extremely courteous and professional. I felt that my routine cleaning received in this office was the most thorough and in depth cleaning/examination I have ever had at a dental office - they made sure to do a good job and were not trying to rush me out. The scheduling system they have in place seems to work great and I appreciate the text message/ e-mail reminders. I also really appreciate the print out they provided showing me the dental work I needed and what costs my insurance would cover as well as my portion - this was provided PRIOR to the work being done (unlike most offices that surprise you with costs). I would highly recommend this office for any dental services needed. I am extremely thankful that a fellow military wife recommended this office to me. Thank you Northcutt Dental!

I was a first time patient, after being referred by my mother. I was very impressed just by walking in the front door. The waiting area is very comfortable and inviting. My 6 year old daughter was tagging along with me and enjoyed sitting in the children's area. Snacks/beverages were offered as you waited (I have never seen before). The staff at the front desk was very friendly and kind when I could not locate the correct information for my dental insurance. After getting that taken care of I was immediately taking to the cleaning room. Each person that stopped by was very friendly and acknowledged my daughter being with me. One hygienist stepped in and turned the TV on for my daughter to make her feel comfortable. Stacy was my hygienist and was just beyond great. With the fear of going to the dentist she never once made me feel uncomfortable or the instant I need to get up and run lol. The dentist came in and explained everything that I needed to know. Over all it was very refreshing to be in a dentist office and be impressed from the beginning to end.

Yesterday was my first visit at Northcutt Dental in Mobile (Cottage Hill & Schillinger) and I loved it! I had a new patient cleaning and exam. Not only were they expertly efficient, they were prompt, kind and clearly communicative. It was a easy, fast and painless visit. Katie did my cleaning and she was amazing! She explained the actions she was preparing to take and what each of measurements indicated. The technician who helped me (I do not remember her name) was also great to deal with – she was very considerate and polite and made the x-rays enjoyable. Dr. G was very good and took the time to answer my questions and prepare me for our next set of services (when my insurance waiting period is up). Checking in was easy and the paperwork was minimal, which is appreciated. There was no more than a few minutes of waiting which was enjoyable in their clean and bright waiting area. They have a very considerate refreshment station with cold water which I took advantage of. I noticed they have a children’s play area and will keep them in mind when our daughter’s teeth come in. An added bonus – their new patient welcome pack includes the standard toothbrush, paste and floss and a Tervis tumbler! Love that! I am looking forward to being a life-long patient with Northcutt as long as we are in the Mobile area.

Yesterday was my 3rd time to Northcutt Dental on Shillingers rd. This time they took me in immediately, right after I called. The entire office is just a very pleasant experience. The waiting room is extremely comfortable with couches, t.v.s and refreshments. The staff is overly nice and I have not found a rude person there. The dental rooms are open and not behind close doors which I like, each having their own television. The dentist can even show you what they are working on by flipping the t.v. over to the work they are doing. Now compared to my old Dentist this place is incredible. The place was so dreary I never wanted to go and would put it off until it was too late. I pay out of pocket every trip to the dentist so I do keep track of cost and Northcutt seems very reasonable.

Not being a huge fan of going to the dentist, it was time I had to. After three days of headaches caused from toothache, I phoned in old buddy and asked where to go . My friend works for one of the offices not sure which one. However the day came to go to the Fairhope office of Northcutt Dental just before Rock Creek, I thought to myself man I hate this, going in filling out new paperwork and then sit for an hour tooth probably still hurting etc end up taking all day to fix a problem a bunch of advil could fix like the last three days of my life but I still got to work. Instead I walked in to a very home feeling environment where everyone was smiling and pleasant, the young lady said good morning asked if I had an appointment, Said got you right here sir, if you would fill this out (my dreaded paper work) which only took me 7 mins and after I turned it back in she handed me back my liscense and insurance card . I sat down for 4 more mins when the I herd my nick name called out Stem, I looked up and there was Ms Katie asking to take me back! Ms. Katie made me feel so great , she was nice and listend and explained everything to me about my tooth that had broken off and nothing but roots were left looked like maybe a surgery or maybe the Dr. could pull it. Then came in Dr. Crawford who was just so pleasant as well she came in to a look at what was going on in my mouth, looked at the photos of my tooth with me and once again I was givin more knowledge of why I was having pains. I said make the pain stop, so the team went to work they left the room and right on time another nice team member came in to let me sign insurance forms saying all good to go Ms. Katie and Dr.Crawford came back in my cool little room where the t.v. I was watching took my mind of the bad dreams Ive had about going to the dentist, and started to go to work. within 30 more mins I was shaking hand and even gave a hug on the way out the door with my new cup and toothbrush and bag with my favorite color paper in the bag how did the know I love the Yankees ? The team at northcutt dental was amazing today , I m already making plans to go back and get my smile back on track with them. thank you so much Dr.Crawford and Ms.Katie and the other two young ladies that helped me today. I wish you all the best and we will see you soon. To begin, I am deathly afraid of needles and having my mouth worked on but Dr. Dixon made this a painless and pleasant process! He was so fast and gentle with me and kept me calm the entire time. He made sure I was good and numb before he began any of the procedure. Kayla R. was the person who set my appointment. She was able to work around my work schedule and fit me in when I was able to do so without having to miss any work. The facilities are very nice and exceptionally clean. One of the hardest things about moving to a new town is finding all new providers, and also ones that you trust, and are comfortable with. I was introduced to Northcutt and Dr. Mason via a referral, and have been a happy patient ever since! Their staff is always polite and helpful, the office is spotless, they are always on time, and to top it off, each room is equipped with it's own personal TV! In addition to my routine cleanings, I have also had a few small cavities that needed to be filled - Dr. Mason took excellent care of me and the awful anxiety I normally have. Dr. Dixon has caused so much trouble because of a botched root canal. He left part of his tool in my root and left it in my head. He also perforated my sinus. I had to go to a different dentist to remove the root & metal from my jaw. Now I'm having sinus surgery. I had to pay over $2200 for the root canal and eventual tooth pulling. The 2nd follow up dentist did $5400 worth of work for $1500 because he felt sorry for me. He even called Dr. Dixon on my behalf. Now, the sinus surgery is going to cost even more. Did I forget to tell you I had to pay for a CT Scan of my sinus that led to the surgery? I own my own business and I NEVER leave a bad review for anyone. I usually keep my mouth shut and move on. A friend encouraged me to warn others and write this review. I will say Dr. Mason was always wonderful and I love her. She wasn't available the day I went in 5 months ago with a tooth ache. That's how I got stuck with Dr. Dixon. I hope this testimony helps save someone from a lot of pain.

While shopping for groceries, I ran into one of my favorite dental hygienist, Katie Jernigan. She told me that she'd left the office that I'd known her from and is currently working for Northcutt. Because of her, I visited Northcutt Dental. I called yesterday and got an appointment for today. My entire family went...me and my four children. We were in and out in about 2 hours. Our visit to the Mobile office was amazing. The office staff was professional, kind, and thorough. The service prices were affordable. The facility was clean and very kid-friendly...and if that wasn't enough, as new patients, we all received a welcome gift at the end of our exams. I love Northcutt Dental and will be recommending them to all of my family and friends.

Front staff wasn't very friendly upon my arrival. I was taken back after waiting 30 mins past my appointment time. The nurse got my consent and pre-numbed me with the stick. I waited another 25 mins before the doctor came in...by this time I wasn't even numb anymore. They numbed me with the injections and said it would take 10-15 minutes. No one ever checked on me during this process to see if I was doing ok or needed anything. They finally returned after 45 mins to do my fillings. My appt was at 140 and I didn't leave the office until 545. Now 3 weeks after the work...my filling is giving me trouble. Extreme sensitivity to cold/hot. My husband had the same procedure and his wait time was unreasonable and he too is having trouble with the filling. I do not recommend this place if you are in need of adequate wait times and good dental work from a great dentist. Go elsewhere--to an actual dentist...not a chain company.

My wife went in for a simple crown delivery that should have take 20 mins at most. She waited a half hour just for the dr to come in. She then was numbed and waited another half hour for him to come in and try the crown on. The crown was done wrong and she had to wait an hour for them to try to make it work before they just gave up and told her that they were going to have to have it redone. Two hours for a 20 min apt is unacceptable. It would be on thing if this was the first time this happened, but on her apt to have the crown prep, it was the same thing, waiting a half hour for the dr to come into the room. Then waiting another half hour for him to come back after he numbed her. Either the apt scheduling needs to be redone or they need to schedule less people in the same block. Would love to have her go somewhere else, but its the only place that accepts our insurance.

Having relocated to Mobile recently, we are so thankful to have found Northcutt Dental Mobile for our family dentistry needs. The staff and ambiance of the office is wonderful! The waiting room has a section for young toddlers and infants, room for older kids with bean bags and video games, and don't forget the coffee and popcorn stations. The waiting room opens right into the staff area, which is kept very neat and organized. Plus, all rooms have their own TV that you can watch while you are waiting (although wait is very minimal, if any at all). My hygienist is Michelle, who is super sweet, gentle, and efficient! Definitely a recommend to all!

On April 3, 2018, I purchased a new crown for the 2nd molar tooth (Upper right side), my dentist was Dr. Masion. I had gingivectomy-access/restoration($30), core buildup, include any pins($25), crown-porcelain/ceramic substr($336). I spent $391.2 in total, my insurance paid $466.8 to get the new crown. However, the new crown came off on Nov 3 2018. So I had to go to a dentist Michael Kutten to send the new crown back on NOV 6, 2018, I spent $45 to do this. Unfortunately, the crown came off again in Jan 10, 2019, so I had no choice to see the dentist again to send my crown back on Jan 14 2019. But, this crown came off at third time on Feb 18 2019. This new crown’s edge is too short. It doesn’t fit my tooth at all. It's total failure. My whole family saw Dr. Masion for several years. This made me very disappointed. And also, a cheating exists in the bill. That is "core buildup, include any pins". Dr. Masion didn't make core buildup for me. She just used my old ground tooth which was made by another dentist, she did not do any extra work on the old ground tooth. Her notes said, there was decay on my tooth and that she placed a build up on my tooth after removing the decay. This is a cheat. I didn't have decay on this tooth, my x ray of this tooth before I started to prepare for a a new crown can prove this. I have ever questioned the nurse about this cost. She answered:"Even though Dr. Masion didn't make core buildup, the fee still should be there". Obviously, this is a cheat. It caused insurance company to pay $100.8 for this item. So, I will not recommend this dental practice to anyone.

This was my first time to Northcutt Dental in Mobile. I had a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend this place to anyone. The staff and Dr. Mason were super nice and they greeted you with a friendly smile. I have been seeing dentist for several decades and this was the best dental care I have ever received. The office was super clean and up to date with style. Plus the fact, you had a flat screen TV to watch while they cleaned your teeth. Jessica, my dental hygienist, was super nice and friendly and did an excellent job in cleaning my teeth. This office has the friendliest more helpful staff. Everyone here has a smile and a real heart for service. I love the Christian music that plays and the state of the art equipment and techniques. I have always found getting my teeth cleaned uncomfortable as my teeth are very sensitive - but I nearly fell asleep in the chair during today's cleaning - absolutely a first for me. I am also impressed with their financial arrangements. Their prices are better than most - even though their offices are beautifully equipped, very well staffed and filled with every amenity. I have told everyone I know to come to this office. They have set the bar very high in this area for quality dental care and affordable prices. Wonderful experience just this morning. It is my third visit and I would not go anywhere else. God bless you all.

It was my first time being a patient and Katie was very helpful in explaining what she was doing and how things worked. Any questions i had she definitely answered and took care of. Really hate going to the dentist the smell makes me ill but it was a necessary visit. When I walked in completely speechless. No weird odor staff was amazing very accomadating. Walked me through the entire process had to hold my hand a couple of times loved it so much came back the next day. Since its open enrollment my company offers several plans we sat down looked at pros and cons as luck have I was on the right plan! Dr. Tran and her staff went completely out of the way assisting me all while smiling and it was truly a great visit!
