The vision center is difficult to work with. Everyone is extremely nice, but their follow through is horrible. I have had several instances, where I have paid for services and then never called when the product came in and the procedure was never performed. I also had to bring my glasses back as the lens were cracked and when I got them back, they were not the same as the first ones. I had paid extra for the top of the line with all of the add ons and when I got the "fixed ones" back, these were not added to the lenses. Very disappointed also that if you call close to 5pm, they never answer the phone.

They are amazing! I was so embarrassed to go to the dentist because I haven't been in 7 years, and they made me feel so at home. They even let me fill out paperwork for my husband that has an appointment tomorrow. I will even be bringing me 2 and 4 year old back next week.

I don't even know where to start. I feel like the staff was very unprofessional. People were constantly in and out of the room, asking questions, getting supplies having personal conversations over my mouth. Which would have been better had they not been having problems fitting the crown but I felt as though they should have been more focused on that than on greys anatomy. We were there for 3 hours for a fill in and a crown. When it was time to check out there was only one person at the desk and a line of people waiting. When asked if there was assistance available the front desk clerk just told us to call back and schedule an appointment if necessary. Which isn't what we needed but we ended up leaving anyway. Definitely won't be going back.

My kids and I love coming to this location!!! It's kid friendly on one side and then the adult side is calming and relaxing. The staff is amazing and friendly. I've had a ton of work done on my mouth after I had an accident in December and they've made everything simple and easy and explain all my procedures in terms that I can understand. Truly recommend this location for the entire family.

I have a impacted wisdom tooth this place have sent me different referrals and I got no results my tooth has been in a year still no help I cant find a oral surgeon that will accept my insurance I have united healthcare my tooth is infected Movie Bay Dental will accept my insurance but wont give me antibiotics for my infection I have a serious problem and cant get help Thanks for nothing

Great place!! Awesome staff!! Even tho there was a miscommunication with the appointment times, they fixed it. The vision staff stayed an extra hour so they could see my 3 children. They never rushed us, still took their time to make sure everthing was correct. They found what prescription glasses my son really needed because his previous eye doctor gave him the wrong prescription glasses. Best place in mobile to take your children, very accommodating and they really do care about their patients and parents.

This place is amazing if you have kids. The staff is patient and caring, plus they have an indoor kids theater and playground. Madison and Kelly made my daughter feel extra special and they took care of us quickly. They accept All Kids and have a nice waiting room. The kids dental area has seating for parents and vibrant saltwater fish decor.

I love the entire building!! The front desk girls are the best! I came in with 3 of my kids and one of them was my 2 year old son, first time at the dentist, who was nearing the end of potty training and after they finished with him, making his first experience an easy one, and while I was in the back myself, they watched him play on the playground. WELL, he had an accident and peed all the way down the slide and they did not even hesitate! They shut the playground down climbed in that slide and cleaned up the entire thing while I was still in the back! They never once made me feel like it was my fault and they actually blamed it on themselves for giving him water. They are always so sweet and accommodating for me with my 5 kids. As long as this place is open I'll never go anywhere else! And Callie Taylor, Dr. Q and Dr. Gast are the best!

Both my kids are both dental patients here and the staff is always friendly and helpful. On my last visit, Gabby in Vision went the extra mile to help me as I was picking up a frame for my sons new glasses. She heard what I was looking for and helped me find it. She was patient and helpful. I appreciated that she was not in a rush just to get it done, but was attentive and giving me great customer service. I would 100% recommend this place for anyone with children.

This place is great! When I first walked in it was a little hectic, they have a play area for kids which is amazing, but the also have a adult only waiting room which was very nice. The staff here is top notch. Everyone from the girl at the desk that checked me in to the dentist was friendly and knowledgeable. I have a little anxiety when seeing any doctor and the dentist was kind and understanding of that. I had a tooth pulled, painless and unbelievably quick. I would recommend this place to anyone! My eight year old had a horrific experience a couple of years ago when having dental work done. The young lady, Jessica, who helped him was very friendly and understanding. After administering nitrous oxide, my son calmed down and the procedure was completed very quickly and painlessly. I am extremely grateful for the patience, understanding and level of professionalism I experienced during our visit and would recommend this dental practice to all of my friends and family.

New building with new equipment. Was impressed with all of the staff I came in contact with. Friendly, yet professional. Went for a teeth cleaning & check up. First time EVER that I can remember that I had NO pain from the teeth cleaning. I have some sensitive areas and no matter how careful the hygienist are, I end up digging my nails in the chair arm.....The children if they so choose, can enter the building by following the small foot steps leading to the child size door (awesome idea!). Upon entry they will find a separated waiting room from the adults that includes an inside play area and gaming stations. Can't believe I am saying this, but I am already looking forward to my next appointment and would have used the small door if I could fit thru it!

Well, I will never go back there, because they charge you taxes on your total bill instead of charging you taxes on what you pay!!!! I ended up paying $100 extra then I would have if I went somewhere else!!! They need to inform you more and explain it better!!! Because I would have took my prescriptions somewhere else. I have been getting glasses for 5 years and I have ever paid taxes on the total!!! I always paid on what my portion was!!! Please read all the reviews before choosing this vision care!!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Hankinson since 2005 and his expertise on what he does is amazing. He have a very professional staff and they are always ready to say or do something to make you comfortable. I was in the office about two weeks ago to get a permanent crown on a tooth that I had gotten a crown on about three years ago. Dr. Hankinson replaced that crown because he said that he felt that it should have last longer than that. I did not go in to received a free crown, I thought he could cement the old crown in considering that it was still pretty, but he insist on doing another one free of charge. You really don't see that kind of act of kindness today. He is a remarkable young man and he is very attentive with every patients. The staff are always pretty friendly and the office is amazing. Unfortunately the dentist doesn't seem like he should be working with children. The past two times I have been in, my son complained of not being numb when they started the procedure and the dentist flat out ignored him. The first visit (for a pulled tooth) the dentist eventually stopped and gave him another shot, after which he was fine. This 2nd time, we were told we were the ONLY patients in the office, but the dentist seemed inconvenienced to even come in the room, didn't say 2 words to me and acted in a rush to leave. He started a filling and my son raised his hand and made noises to let him know he could feel it, but the dr kept going and told the nurses "He's fine." Then when my son finally jumped & grabbed his hand, he got aggravated and said to refer us to a pediatric dentist to be sedated. Very rudely made a point to say he wasn't even touching his teeth when he jumped. He didn't even offer to give him another shot or try to comfort him/talk to him about what he was feeling. My son is 11, knows what he can feel & has never had this problem with other dentists. :( I am very disappointed that an office so heavily geared towards children & close to home, has such an impatient & unkind dentist.

I gave 1 stars because it's been a pleasure working with them . The problem is with payments in between the 2 offices and time wasted since they cant get their financial team together . I have 2 daughters with braces and the same issue . They're payment are current and when it's time for the braces to come off and the bill is paid in full , the mall location sends you to the semmes location and upon arrival there is suddenly a 400 dollar bill that pops out of nowhere . Just today we went for my youngest to have her hard where removed and was told we have a 380 dollar bill due from 2017 .... really ???? Mind you the bill had to be paid in full before the appointment could be scheduled for the hardware removal so how is this even possible ... absolute RIP off of 400 per person when it's time for removal. This is not once but twice for us. This time I'm going to the Better Buisness Bureau

Dr. Gast and his assistant are AMAZING! I have had several dental issues, and he ALWAYS takes his time and does a remarkable job. He is extremely professional, and cares about his patients. His assistant does also. I wish I could give them both more stars, but he will forever be my dentist. His office staff is ALWAYS friendly. I highly recommend Dr. Gast and his staff.

I went to this dentist a few months ago to have a crown glued back in. It only took approximately 2 minutes, total. However, I was in the office well over 3 hours. When I left, the lobby lights were off, no staff was available to check me out. The crown hasn’t come out since but a patient’s time should be considered. The fact that crown is still holding is the only reason they get 1 star. Now, I brought my mother in today for an extraction. Although she was called back just 7 minutes past her appointment time, I fear I will be waiting for them to finish the job till the lobby is closed yet again. I, personally, will not continue seeing the dentists at Mobile Bay Dental because I do value my time. Apparently, the staff at this particular dentist does not.

My 3 yr. old and I had an eye appointment yesterday and my son was screaming and crying for 1 reason... HE HAD TO LEAVE! Dr. Perry is fabulous and amazing with her work and absolutely wonderful with children. My so adored her and so do I! All 3 of my children had an appointment with the Dentist today and I had the same result! Their play area and movie room is fanomimal and it couldn't have been a better experience even with the front desk. I will be coming back. & another plus they take Medicaid for children! If I could I would give them 100 stars but I'm only allowed 5.

Dr. Terry and her assistant were great, as was the woman in the glasses area. They were very patient and explained things very thoroughly and were very understanding with a little bit of fear on the part of my family member. A woman in the glasses area brought out about a dozen other choices that they did not have room to display. I was put on hold for 13 minutes, however when I called to confirm our appt., at which point they almost hung up on me before I could actually get all of the information. And then it turned out that they also did not confirm the location, and so when we arrived at the place that I made the appointment for, they told me that the appointment was for the other location. Fortunately, they were not busy and were able to go ahead with the exam at location where we were. All of that could have been resolved though, with simply slowing down during the phone call, and being more thorough. Or use text to confirm! Great once you get there.
