I’m terrified of the dentist due to a past bad experience of a wisdom tooth extraction. And when another one started hurting, I was extremely nervous! At Family Care Dental, Dr. Upton, made me at ease in no time! She explained the process before she got started. And made sure I felt comfortable. After numbing the area, the actual procedure took less than 10mins! A complete opposite of my last extraction, which lasted more than an hour! Dr, Upton has a light touch. I did not feel any pain or discomfort. She’s truly a perfectionist and always insures that a procedure is done exactly right. I only wish I had found her office much sooner. I will definitely come back and recommend you to all who are looking for a dentist.

The dentist was very thorough in explaining healthy dental habits. This gave my daughter a sense of peace ,and I was so pleased with the amount of patience shown towards her. DO NOT GO HERE! ! ! ! They bill for services they do not complete! I only left ONE star because I have to leave something so that potential victims can see this warning. 10/19/2018- One of the dentists started on my root canal, charged my insurance, took my money, LEFT a piece of the dental instrument in my tooth and did NOT tell me until I came back on 10/26/2018 complaining of pain. She told me that she'd have to refer me to an Endodontic office so that they can fix what she messed up and assured me that everything would be refunded since they didn't finish the job/procedure. The woman at the front desk who does the billing told me that she would call me back that day regarding the refund. If she called me, Daffy Duck called me. When I came in on 11/6/2018 she told me that she couldn't process a refund to me until MY insurance sent a form.... Why is a form needed from my insurance when Family Care Dental took money from ME? She also told me that the Endodontic office should not charge me much. and the cost should be well under the $135 that they charged me. Well, the Endodontic office charged me $280. I opened a Better Business Bureau complaint 10 days ago and unsurprisingly, Family Care has not responded.... AND their restroom is disgusting. The trash is always overflowing- well it was each of the 3 times I was there and they're too lazy to fix the toilet tissue holder. So they just leave the toilet tissue on the counter because apparently, that's the healthiest place for things that touch your private parts. Just save yourself the unnecessary drama and unscrupulous business practices and stay away from this establishment.

Fast and fantastic service. I was back in a chair with Hope before my scheduled appointment time. My favorite part is they don't force you to talk with mirrors,suckers, or spacers in your mouth. If you are needing a good dentist you've found it.

AMAZING!! The wait was short especially considering I was a walk in. I have been searching for a dentist to be my primary dentist for quite sometime. The office is well kept bright and clean. Everyone is polite and seems to be in good spirits and enjoying themselves and their jobs. The shots were painless and to me thats the worst part. Quick friendly affordable. Their cost are pretty much on par with even the cheap clinics that havent changed the decor since the 80s and treat the patients like its a free clinic or soup kitchen. And they have gas for the needle phobic. This place is awesome. I am so glad I kept looking instead of settling for subpar service. Did I mention I was an emergency walkin and the wait was less than 45 min. Less than 45 minutes as a new patient walk-in.

I think this is absolutely the best dental office in the area. I found this office online when I was searching for dental offices that offer 6 month smile braces for adults. There are very few offices that offer this services for adults and I am very glad I found them. I just finished my treatment with these clear braces and my teeth look great. I have had crooked teeth my entire life and was always embarrassed to smile.. And now I can't stop smiling

The only thing I dislike about this location is that they will be speaking English at the front desk, then mid sentence they will start speaking Spanish !! That TRULY IRRITATES me, because I’m SURE they are saying something they don’t want to be heard !! I think speaking in another language when you’re not engaged in conversation with someone that speaks that language, for communication purposes only, IS VERY RUDE !!!!! I’ve changed dentist offices, to an office where they Only speak Spanish when speaking business with a Spanish speaking patron!!!!!!

Was offered a "free cleaning" got gassed up and by the end of the visit I was charged for a not free $150"deep cleaning", some $50 mouth wash that did nothing, and the $50 gas (I don't mind paying for) but after I paid I get a bill in the mail staying I owe more money?! H-to the-ell no! Never going back. Just cause I'm not a minority doesn't mean I'm rich I hardly make $20k a year before taxes. Take advantage of somebody else.... employees are really nice tho.

Horrible place. Chairs were dirty staff very low down & dirty. I wouldn't recommend this place for anyone. My wife made an appointment only to be told she would be worked in. They were very unprofessional about appointment scheduling and didn't even honor the 15 minute grace period even though 5 of our children had been there before. My wife had to tell the manager that the children were not first time patients there. You would think they would have seen that in their computer & files. The level of uncaring behavior is just through the roof. I guess that is how minority act when they get their clients up to where they wouldn't miss our business anyways. Either way we are never going back there again

I have had a long history of bad experiences with dentists, so when I first came to Family Care Dental I had a lot of anxiety. When I walked through the door, that was gone because the office is clean, well-decorated, and welcoming. The women at the front desk are helpful and friendly and can answer any questions you might have. The hygienists here are personable and kind; when they cleaned my teeth they made sure I was comfortable with everything and explained the whole process. I had my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Upton and she was wonderful. On the same day, I got some fillings and they made the entire process virtually painless and streamlined. I highly recommend this dental office to anyone who needs a dentist.

The hygienist was AMAZING!! She was really nice and easy my daughter loved her. The actual dentist was rude, my daughter did not like him at all. The receptionist kept my insurance card and licenses. Never once did they call me even though they had my number, I had to call them to find out. So if you or your kid/kids are just going for a cleaning they are great anything else go else where.

This was my first visit at the office and I had a very comforting experience.I went to have a wisdom tooth removed and went on ahead and had top and bottom done at the same time. I called in on a Friday because everyone else (including my dentist) was closed. Dr. Tran was slammed, but stayed late to do a root canal for me to make sure I didn't hurt over the weekend. I left there after 7 pm. She is the absolute best dentist ever and I can't recommend her enough. She gave up a Friday night to help me. I won't soon forget that. I have a new dentist in Dr. Tran and couldn't be happier. The dental assistant, Sarah, was just as awesome. Great work and great customer service. I seriously love these people.

Let me share my disgust, my 4 year old has a tooth that is absessed, the infection is on the tooth she had a crown put own at this office, my issue is not with the work , my issue is we called these folks to get her into there office to look at this and was told sorry we are booked and told it would be tuesday at the soonest, thats 5 days from today...unacceptable!!! It would take 2 minutes to look at this and get her on some medicine...so now heading to urgent care and will be finding a new dentist ...

He had to get a crown on and a week later they checked and he was EXCITED to go back!! Every time he knows his appointment is coming up he asks all day when we are going!! Having an appointment is pointless. Scheduled only to wait an hour or more to be seen. Then the office tells you your schedule is 20 minutes earlier to accommodate for late people. Please make accommodations for people that are ON TIME. If you tell me 12:40, I’ll be there at 12:30.

Came in today and found out that it was infected, now I have to have a root canal that I think should have been done in the first place. New dentist. The service at your office is great however, I am a stickler for promptness. I am always early for my appointments and hate to be made to wait. On more than one occasion at my appointment times I have been made to wait. I understand that things happen but you all need to work on seeing patients at their appointment time or call before the patient gets there if it seems like you may be running behind.

I had the worst experience in this facility. The staff was so rude and unprofessional. They scheduled me a 9:50 am appt. When I got there apparently one of the staff members had slid in a 9:00 appt that we missed out of no where. When I called 9 o clock wasn't even mentioned. I took my kids there years ago and thought the same caring kind mannered professional staff would be there but I got the worst experience not to mention I drove all the way from Prattville to give them my business. Never will I ever take my kids to this place. Race seems to be a priority to these people. They wouldn't even give me a proper excuse for my kids. I don't trust rude unkind people with the care of my family and don't advise anyone to go to this place.

Front reception desk act as though they have an attitude, appointments never start on time ( at least 20 + minutes after scheduled times). The male dentist seems unsure about his work plus bouncing between rooms during the middle of your appointment. Don't waste your time because they don't value it, they overbook and then get upset with you because they don't have the decency to inform you that your appointment will start late. Unprofessional.
