To read that someone does not care for Dr. Hankenson saddens me because I know what a blessing he is been in my life! I genetically have bad teeth. I have been dealing with this problem since I was a small child and still deal with it and I am 37. Over the years I've had 12 root canals and crowns. I use to go to a cosmetic dentist, but could no longer afford to go there. I also suffer from TMJ which is a condition that your job pops out of socket. My dentist has retired, but you can only imagine how many dentist and orthodontist I have seen over my 37 years of dealing with this. I'm pretty certain I have had just about every procedure done that's possible. Again, I have been to several really well respected known dentist in Mobile and just recently switched to Dr. Hankenson. Because of all the work I have had to have over all of these years, I know how dentist are and never in my life have I seen one who truly cares about their patient like this man does! He is so very thorough, goes above and beyond anything I've ever seen, does not charge near the amount other dentist do, takes Medicaid children, is trying to make a difference in our communities, and has such a passion and a heart of gold. Like I stated earlier, I did just recently switch to him. He realized the amount of work that I needed and he and his assistant Ashley ( Who is also amazing) literally just yesterday came in on a Saturday just to fix my teeth! What other dentist do you know that does that, because I certainly do not know one ! I will not be going anywhere else but his office to have any type of dental work done unless he feels like it is beyond what he can do and prefers me to someone else. Like I said earlier, he takes Medicaid children, he has a state-of-the-art facility and is also doing vision with an eye doctor at his office as well. I will refer everyone that I know to this man, and Inhonestly believe he is just trying to make a difference the best way he knows how!
