Easy on the mouth, just bite on a cotton ball and the machine moves around your head. New technology is fantastic. Today they were nice to work me in becsuse I have a conflict with my regular check up appointment. Inez is great too! The just bite wings xray is do much easier on my mouth too! "Do no harm" should be the first rule of order to a "caring" dental practice. In my case, I was irreperably harmed by an aggressive recommendation for a totally unnecessary treatment, the procedure(S) themselves, performed ineptly by an inexperienced dentist who truly was "practicing" -- I was told he had 10 years experience -- he had four! What a shame! for me . . . these guys move on; I, the trusting, unwary patient, am left with the problem their ethics and lack of expertise created. Thanks, guys! You ought to be ashamed of yourselves. P.S. Why on earth would I now come back to you to "make right" what you did WRONG to begin with! Shameless be your name!

I have been going to this office since late 90's. A couple of years ago I started contemplating changing dentist. After today's visit with the new staff, I am completely confident I am at the right office. It was such a positive experience! A very friendly staff and office manager, Mrs. Savage. Michelle did a wonderful job. She made time to review my history before my actual cleaning. She listened to my concerns and was sensitive during the actual exam and cleaning. Dr. Chet purposed to take time to explain details of his exam as well and was not in a rush to get to the next patient. Great experience!

Dr. Chet really is a very talented guy. He has a great personality that gives you confidence. He will answer any question or concern you have. He spends time with you. Very personable and at the same time all about business. My experience with the entire staff has been great through each step of my personalized treatment plan. Every single person has been so nice and very knowledgeable. They all speak so highly of Dr. Chet, so that’s a good indicator. The small things like injecting numbing agents. Literally no pain. I’ve had 4 extractions (5 including the latest). 2 wisdom teeth and two others at a young age to give my teeth more room. I remember a great deal of pressure on my mouth in previous extractions. Not the case here. Very slow and deliberate. During a recent procedure he was performing an extraction and a bone graft. As he was working with his tech he made the statement “patience will always pay off”. He was spending a lot of time getting any infection out that could cause the graft to not take. This gave me great confidence. Excellent practice. I look forward to continuing my treatment plan.

I had an tooth with a good size infection on back and front side of my tooth. I called the office. I explained my problem and the scheduled my appointment. The front desk were very welcoming and efficient. I got in the treatment room and got an interview of my problem. I had a panorama X-ray and a PA of the tooth. I was taken to a surgery room and got anesthesia. Because of the infection I had to have a fair amount. Dr Chey, hope and the staff are comforting. The tooth came out easy. This is the best dentist ever! I had major oral surgery done on my mouth. I had to get 6 teeth taken out my mouth just to get my braces on. I was in there from 9-4 and they made sure I was taken care of during and after the procedure. I wouldn’t pick no other!!!

This visit was a scheduled cleaning, which I actually enjoyed. Let me tell you why! I have partial dentures and currently experiencing no problems. But, Alison, my hygienist for this visit, after cleaning my teeth, explained to me what I could expect in the near future. First, she made pictures of the back of my lower gums next to my teeth and partial. As she pointed out, they were very red. Although there was some redness in front, the redness in the back, which was worse, I hadn't been able to see. Alison asked if I kept my partial in while sleeping at night. And I do. She said that was a NO NO....my gums and teeth needed to be free of the appliance so bacteria doesn't form into tooth decay. So I agreed to stop immediately. Next she asked about "dry mouth" which I suffer from . She said this is another cause of tooth decay and she offered some mints for me to try which could replace those I currently and constantly use. I could go on and on.....but one more thing. I have suffered from fever blisters all of my life. Alison noticed the cracks in the corners of my mouth. She said she would have the dentist write me a prescription for a cream to treat this "viral" condition which should cure this. Amazingly, when Dr. Chet (sorry, but that's what I have to call him) he brought up EVERYTHING Alison had already been over with me. You know, It's great to be on the same team!!

Dr. Chet & his assistant were outstanding yesterday on my first visit. From the moment I entered the dental office I was blown away with the care. I’ve never had a good experience with a dental office so i always avoid going but Dr. Chet has changed that and i trust him whole heartily with my dental care. Usually dentist get in and out but we spent moments practicing his last name, discussing my weird shoes obsession & laughing at the 12 dogs his assistant Samantha has, which eased my anxiety before the extraction I had. I bragged on him and his assistant all night to my family and even tried to bribe them to switch dental offices lol. I was blown away with the updated equipment and the cool camera that takes pics of your teeth instead of the old fashion films they put in your mouth they have you gagging for near life lol. I cannot say enough about Dr. Chet and his ENTIRE staff. Everyone, from Dr. Chet on down, is professional, knowledgeable, courteous, respectful, prompt, and (a big one for me) personable. I have been going to the same dentist for many years and I was worried about beginning with a new dentist. My concerns were unfounded. From the moment I walked through the door, I was treated as though I had been a patient of theirs for years, and it felt that way as well. The atmosphere is gentle, comfortable, and calming. My hygienist, Mitzy, was wonderful. I almost fell asleep in the chair I was so relaxed during my cleaning, and my experience with Dr. Chet was exceptional. I have had some trouble with a tooth lately and he was able to immediately assess the problem and offer suggestions regarding treatment. I was very impressed with his skill and knowledge, and, again, friendly personality. If you are one who does not like going to the dentist or has a fear of the dentist, I think a visit to Dr. Chet and his team will cure that right up. If I could give this experience more than five stars, I would mark as many as Google would list. I recommend Dr. Chet and his team to anyone.

I called Dr. Chet Swartzentruber's office and talked to Ms. Judy, the Office Manager; I was so happy when I found out she worked at Dr. Chet's office. I have known Ms. Judy since my early 20's and she is SUPER NICE and very PROFESSIONAL! I expressed to her I was in major pain and she asked if I could come in for a 9:45AM appointment and I said yes ma'am I will be there. When I arrived, I didn't know what to expect because this was my first time going to see Dr. Chet, D.M.D. I got there and the entire office staff was so kind and professional. It’s my turn to go back and I am really nervous because I am hoping Dr. Chet will be a great dentist and as pain free as possible. I am blown away by the young lady that met with me first to take x-rays. She was so kind and she just really helped me to relax by telling me about how nice and gentle Dr. Chet is with all his patients! Then it's time to meet with Dr. Chet, he was so kind, professional and thorough. He didn't rush, and he took his time to answer all my questions. He discovered my bite was off and he had to deliver some bad news I have to get some major dental work. But, it has to be done and he is the dentist to do the dental work the correct way and I am at total ease about my upcoming appointment. He is a really nice dentist with an amazing office staff and clinic staff, so if you need a new dentist you should most definitely check out Carmichael Dental Care! Lastly Dr. Chet is a family man, sincere and a Christian these qualities make him even better!! I am thankful I ended up at Carmichael Dental Care.

Always a pleasant experience! I received a warm greeting upon entry from Anna at the front desk and was quickly seated by Susan, a recent and wonderful new addition to this already awesome staff. Susan did an excellent job cleaning my teeth and provided great conversation as well. Dr. Chet was very gentle and kind as always. I love how the entire staff always make you feel welcome and at ease. Wonderful experience. I have been looking for a good Dentist for a couple years and a close friend suggested I try Carmichael Dental Care / Dr. Chet. When I arrived for my appointment I was greeted by the front staff with huge smiles and warm greetings, I was not in the waiting room 5 minutes when my Dental Assistant Michelle came and got me and put me at ease by explaining every step before she performed them and then Dr. Chet came in and did his exam, both Michelle and Dr. Chet were SUPER NICE and gentle with my procedure. Dr. Chet and staff are the BEST! I need to add I live 25 miles from Carmichael Dental Care but really don't mind due to the wonderful treatment and service!!!

Anna worked me in on New Years Eve for which I am extremely grateful. I had been trying to get up with my regular dentist (been with him since I was a teenager) since Thursday of last week. After 4 phone calls and 1 email to the regular dentist and no response (they were on Holiday until Jan. 2nd) I gave up on the regular dentist and was lucky to find Carmichael Dental Care. I was in a lot of pain from what I thought was a chipped crown. Dr. Shawn and his assistant Emily came to the rescue from what would have been a horrible New Years Day otherwise. She talked me through the entire process, informed me on my choices on my way forward. The procedure went very well and no pain. Dr. Chet was good, but not as good as Irma:). Found Carmichael Dental on the Cigna website which had great reviews so i made an appointment. Appt was 30 days out so i asked to be on the waiting list if someone cancelled. Most offices would forget to call so i was surprised CDC did and got me in the next day. Arrived and was greeted with a welcoming face and smile. Very friendly environment - cleaning was the best - told me exactly what she was doing. Dr. Chet - very informative and not like most dentist i have seen where CAVITIES was the second word after HELLO that needed to be done ASAP. I highly recommend CDC to all that reads this post!!!!

I am thrilled that my Ortho referred me to Dr Chet! This is a wonderful office, fom front office to assisants. I'm very happy with all the work I have done here from crowns to fillings. Janay is the sweetest dental assistant I've ever had. She is very comforting. Inez is the most gentle and helpful hygentist ever! Dr Chet is the best dentist I've ever been to! I have high anxiety about going to the dentist and about having any instruments in my mouth. I have had very traumatic experiences surrounding dentist and dental offices. When I called today Carmichael Dental Care staff were very kind and go me into see the dentist the same day. When I arrived in was anxious and could barely stop shaking. Hilary the dental hygienist quickly put my nerves at ease. She was friendly, kind, and supportive. She let me know everything she was doing and explained in detail what she was doing. She explained what I needed to do at home but mostly she calmed me down with kind comforting words. She kept my mind on other things rather than what she was doing. When Dr. Chetan came in he was so warm and kind also. He let me know exactly what I needed, gave me my course of action and explained everything in detail. They both are heaven sent. I walked away knowing in a few weeks I would have all my wisdom teeth extracted but I was not in the least bit anxious or worried. The office staff explained my portion of what I would owe but they made sure my insurance was paying the bulk. They double and tripled checked to make sure I was not paying an lyrics more out of pocket then I needed to. This is a true rarity among dentist and dental offices. I can sing their praises enough. Thank you!!!!! Wonderful staff, hygienist and doctor! I highly recommend them. By the way Hillary is the best. :)
