The staff are all friendly and I usually get my appointment right on time without a long wait in the waiting room. They tell me what it's going to cost right up front and don't pressure me to do more then you can afford. As someone who feared going to a dentist all my life due to a bad experience as a kid I can tell you Dr. Whatley is a painless dentist. I don't know how he does it but when he has worked on my teeth I'm so relaxed I'm more likely to fall asleep then feel discomfort. I actually look forward to my appointments as a relaxing friendly break in my routine. PS They even ask you what kind of music you like to hear while you're in the chair. Thanks, Adrien

Dr. Whatley & his staff helped me overcome nearly 20 years of dental phobia. I was literally shaking when I went in the first time and they just asked really simple questions about my personal interests and hopes for the outcome of visiting them. They put on your favorite music, give you blankets or pillows if you need them, free coffee & juice, and talk TO you, not AT you or in a condescending or judgmental way. They offer sedation, which isn't covered by most insurance companies, but was a priority for me due to nerves. Will highly recommend to anyone, especially those who are frightened to go back.

Every time my family and I go here they find something that is supposedly not covered by our insurance that requires cash payment. I decided after the third time that I would check with another dentist for a second opinion and they covered it 100 percent on insurance.

Appointment at 1:00PM. X-Ray taken; diagnoses made; Cavity filled (absolutely no pain even for novacane injection) and out by 1:48PM. Sitting at home having a cup of coffee with novacane worn off at 4:15PM. BEAT THAT! I have been a loyal patient of Dr. Whatley for over 30 years and he just keeps getting better.

2015 has been the year of fixing my teeth! Dr. Whatley and his team have been nicer and more understanding than any Doctor's office I have ever visited. I couldn't be happier with all of the work I had done this year or with my smile. Their patient referral program is also a huge bonus, so when you go please drop my name!

I went to Dr. Whatley as a new patient. I was impressed by how welcoming and understanding the staff was of my needing to change and my concerns about pain control and anxiety prevention during treatment. Dr. Whatley examined me and determined I needed two teeth filled. The procedure itself was ok; I did experience some pain during the procedure as I am very hard to get numb, and had to receive more numbing agent before continuing. This was stressful. Since the procedure, however, one of the teeth he filled has been very uncomfortable. I cannot chew on that side without experiencing discomfort. I have an appointment for a follow-up, and I am hoping things will get sorted out. I have never had this happen to a tooth before after filling it.
