I have been blessed to have had Miss Carolina Bucker as my dance instructor since I was 3 years old while taking lessons at the Dance Studio in Westfield. I then continued dancing with Miss Carolina once she started Revita. I have been a member of the Revita family since the very beginning. Writing this review, I don't even know where to begin to express the positive experience that is Revita. Revita is a beautiful, positive, clean, family-friendly environment where you will be introduced to the arts. I started taking ballet lessons when I was 3 years old. At age 6 I then branched out and discovered my love for tap dancing. Whether it was dancing on the competition team or dancing for the residents at the nursing home, I loved dancing with Revita. Throughout my years as a Revita student I have learned skills that will help me succeed in life, on and off the dance floor. Revita not only offers the art of dance but also offers, Zumba, yoga, martial arts, adult barre classes, and piano lessons. You are never too old to learn and create something beautiful at Revita Arts Center. Revita dancers are only given age appropriate costumes and choreography, this is something that as a young woman I greatly appreciate. As a parent you will never need to worry that your child is performing inappropriate moves in inappropriate costumes. This is just one of the many reasons Revita is so special. They care about the health and welfare of all of their students. While dancing at Revita I was able to help as an assistant teacher during multiple classes under Miss Carolina’s, Miss Corie’s and Miss Marit’s guidance. This was a wonderful learning experience that taught me so many life lessons, and I will always be thankful for those opportunities. While dancing at Revita, you will be introduced to leadership opportunities that will help better your communication skills, attention skills, people skills, and leadership skills, as well as make you a better dancer. Revita has also taught me how to respect and cherish other people. I met two of my best friends while dancing, we have always been there to raise one another up and always celebrated each others accomplishments. Dancing at Revita has helped boost my confidence immensely. Revita is a beautiful place to learn how to dance. Not only will you be learning from some of the best dance instructors, they never stop learning as well. The instructors attend summer courses and travel all over the country to bring back wonderful new techniques to teach to their students in the fall. I am so grateful to have attended such a phenomenal arts center for the majority of my young life. This year I graduated from Revita Arts Center as a member of the National Honor Society for Dance Arts, graduating with honors. As a dancer with 14 years of experience, I highly recommend Revita Arts Center to anyone interested in a safe and wonderful place to pursue the performing arts.
