I can't say enough good things about Move Out Loud Dance Studio, the director and owner (Miss Stephanie), and the faculty. Move Out manages the rare feat of doing two things incredibly well; it is both a warm, welcoming, friendly studio for children to experience dance, while also providing incredible teaching and training. All of the teachers are supportive, attentive to all of the kids (regardless of their level), and they strive to make dance fun! It's remarkable how well they know each kid, and everything they are dealing with both in and out of teaching time. They embrace a policy of all kids being nice to each other, focus on building confidence, along with ability. My daughters have danced there almost 8 years - starting in preschool ballet and tap, and growing into being active participants on MOLs competitive team. The studio has grown along with them, and continues to challenge them! They have been given wonderful opportunities to perform and do what they love best! They have learned more there than just dance - but how to mange their time, support and encourage others, and how to be responsible. If you are considering dance classes here -- you will love it! Move Out Loud has provided a great experience for my daughter...she has had exposure to hip hop, jazz, ballet and tap and all classes are top notch. The teachers are highly experienced and able to translate their vast technical knowledge to teaching all ages and skill levels, from toddlers to teens. The staff is very creative and has choreographed many, many amazing performances over the years. My daughter and the friends she has met continue to grow through the training and positive environment...I wholeheartedly recommend MOL to any girl or boy interesting in learning the art of dance!

My youngest daughter has taken hip hop here for two years, and my older daughter and son took hip hop this past season. All three of my kids have been to other dance studios off and on over the past few years, and the quality of instruction at MOL is definitely the best that I've seen. At other studios I've always dreaded the spring recitals. Three hours of watching mostly not my kids stumble over their own feet? No thanks. Anyways, the recitals at MOL are amazing. I'm always so impressed with not only my kids' dances, but the others as well. Even the beginner classes have great choreography and are fun to watch. And I've never seen a dance studio where they have a teachers' dance during the recital, but they do here and it's really cool to see that the people who are teaching your kids can actually dance! Things I appreciate most about MOL: - Great choreography/music/costumes - Patient and understanding teachers, they make the classes fun - Beautiful, clean building/facilities which are also close to work and home for us. - Boys classes! And with lots of boys participating :) Some minor drawbacks - No (real) quiet area for older kids or adults who actually need to get homework or work done. The kitchen is supposed to serve this purpose because it has extra chairs for studying. But it doesn't have a door, and there are often parents in there with noisy toddlers snacking or younger kids with their ipad volume turned up. It would be better if there was a separate quiet area, but I realize space is limited. - The class schedule is not as straightforward as some other places I've seen, if you have more than one kid dancing, or your kid is different levels at different styles, you'll probably have to be there several times a week.

Move Out Loud has been on our kids’ schedule for the past 8+ years and our children love being in the studio! Our family loves the different styles of dance offered, the amazing teachers, the eye for detail and quality and the recitals at the end of the year are an epic experience for the dancers involved! As a parent, I appreciate that any number my children have been involved in are appropriate for their age from the music to the costumes. In fact, I have found that the teachers try to match the songs to what the age of kids are interested in from super heroes for boys to tap being set to a Hamilton song. Whether you have a timid dancer, a boy wanting a dance class with lots of other boys, an aspiring theater kids who wants to hone their dance ability for shows, the child that can never dance enough in a day, or even the parent who wants to take a dance class, Move Out Loud has a class for all of them that they will love!

Move Out Loud is a wonderful dance studio. The teachers are fun and patient. The choreography and costumes are amazing, and students learn the fundamentals of dance. MOL works with kids of all ages and abilities, and everyone has fun. Plus the recitals are fabulous.

What can I say...my daughter LOVES her dance studio, Move Out Loud. We’ve been around for 3 years now and this year committed to the Hip Hop Crew. My daughter has grown so much as a dancer this year and gained so much confidence! The summer camps are also super fun- especially the flash mob camp. And the teachers...I don’t know how they constantly have so much energy and patience with the kids (and parents) all day long. I’m proud to have my daughter dancing with the studio. Did I mention they also have adult classes?! Adult hip hop! Man was that humbling...

We found this awesome studio because in 2012, I sought out a place for our son to take a Hip Hop class and they offer all boys classes. That first night he and his teacher Mariana made this connection that just clicked, which has lead Move out Loud to be our home away from home! The owner Stephanie and her talented team amaze us every year with their creativity, skills in appropriate choreography, technique and music editing. Their ability to work with children of all ages 3 to 18 in recreational classes and team levels are second to none. Move Out Loud has a beautiful studio space conveniently located on Odana Road, with 3 large dance rooms, a store, a lovely lobby, and full kitchen for kids during their breaks. The outdoor space has two seating areas as well. Kids are so comfortable there, it feels like their home away from home. The well trained instructors use those 3 studio spaces to create a fun and creative atmosphere for the kids. The confidence the kids gain from their dances shows on their faces in and out of class. As a parent, it is great to see that on all the kids, not just my own. Their music, choreography, costumes, and styling are current and modern, changing each year to keep things fresh. We could not imagine dancing elsewhere!!
