My husband & I wanted to take dance lessons as a refresher. We had been taking classes elsewhere for about a year & a half. Marlene was wonderful. She allowed us to come in & practice while helping us with notes of steps we had forgot. Once she knew our wheelhouse she choreographed our wedding dance. It was absolutely perfect & our guests were extremely impressed. We also invited my in-laws to join. They didn't have any dance experience. Marlene was great with beginners and helped with a dance for my husband & his mom. Her studio space has very nice floors, huge windows & tons of natural light. She even moved chairs to create an exact replica of our dance floor. Doing this really helped us envision the space and calm our nerves. It helped make sure we faced the guests & didn't dance off the floor. We highly recommend Dance easy to anyone, engaged or not!

Great experience, Teacher was great and so was the atmosphere. Went there for dance lessons for the wedding and left feeling confident!

My husband and I got married on 8-19-17 and instead of a cocktail hour, we thought it would be a fun idea to have a swingdance lesson, since he and I swingdance ourselves and were planning to do a bit at the wedding. We worked with Marlene at DanceEasy who was willing to host our group; while not everyone attended the lesson, dozens of people went and raved about how fun it was. At least a few people got hooked and have signed up for lessons in their respective hometowns! I cannot speak highly enough of Marlene who brought such energy to the lesson, and who was so pleasant and flexible as my husband and I tried to puzzle through this idea. DanceEasy is a great studio for both beginners and those just wanting to brush up on their footwork!

My wife an I started lessons at "Dance Easy" at the beginners level a while ago. We love the setting, we love our instructor! Marlene has a great way of teaching... I mean .. she taught "me" how to dance, she can teach anyone. And the best thing about it is that a year and a half later she doesn't get upset when I do not hear the beat (or at least she doesn't show it!!). Great atmosphere, great people, lots of fun!

My husband surprised me by booking a set of classes. We have enjoyed each one and learned a lot each time. Neither of us had any experience, but Marlene has been patient and made the whole experience so fun that we are booking another round!

I took one group and one private lesson with Marlene to prepare for my daughter's wedding reception that took place in August in Portland, OR. That's all I could squeeze in before traveling. While two lessons does not a great dancer make, Marlene's instruction and kind encouragement gave me the confidence to take the dance floor and feel great about myself. My daughter was elated!

Marlene was great and made both my wife and me comfortable learning to dance. Neither of us had any experience whatsoever, but by the end of the 3rd 3 hour session we had an entire first dance ready to go for our wedding. It was a fun experience too and we have talked about going back to learn more dances for when we go to other people's weddings in the future!

Hard to leave a review for a place that provides NO service. Called a week ago to confirm a bachelorette party class for 14+ people, she confirmed it and said everything was set up, yet we arrived today to a closed studio and nobody there. Called and she was "an hour away" and said "she forgot to write it down." How unprofessional. Left our group having to scramble to fill an otherwise perfectly planned day, and no, we would not "want to come back at 9pm." Save yourself the headache and don't bother coming or trying to book anything here, you will receive absolutely no service and no attempt to make it right. Thanks for robbing us of a fun experience, luckily we were able to have a better time on our own watch instead. Will never recommend.

My husband and I started dance lessons with Marlene Cordes at Dance Easy because we needed to learn a few dances for our son's wedding. We thoroughly enjoyed the group on Monday nights and Marlene did an excellent job of helping us learn what we needed to know for social dancing...and, of course, for our parents' dance with all eyes watching. The thing is, we had such fun, that we continued dance lessons even after the wedding. It's time my husband and I can spend together. It's exercise, affordable, and the other people in the class are enjoyable. And Marlene continues to expand our world of dances we can now do. We give it "thumbs up!!!" We are still dancing! :)

We needed a quick, one time lesson for a mother/son dance. We walked in with nothing but our music and not much talent, and left with a full routine, feeling confident in our dance. Highly recommend, whether you are a beginner or advanced dancer.
