I grew up dancing at this studio and it very quickly became my home away from home! The teachers I trained under were such an inspiration and I will remember the life lessons and dance lessons they distilled in me forever! I became a member of the Performance Company in middle school. The Performance Company is an elite group of dancers who are continuously competing against highly trained dancers, being recognized regionally and nationally! Let alone the incredible productions Michelle Thomas puts on every Spring! They are not just end of the year recitals... they transport you to NYC on broadway! Professional, educational, and inspiring!

DO NOT ATTEND THIS ACADEMY! When we signed my granddaughter up the regular admn was not there and was replaced by the owners sister who quoted us all kinds of erroneous prices. When the admin, Claudia, came back, there were profuse apologies for the ineptness of the owner's, Michelle, sister. What we didn't know, or told, was that the academy starts their training, rehearsal in September (beginning of academy year), for their production in June. Since we started end of Jan/early Feb, my grand daughter would have been way behind. We began to notice that my grand daughter was sitting out chunks of class, at the request of the instructor, so the other kids could practice for June. Also, the voice teacher was oft times late or didn't show up and a student taught the class. For these prices, my grand daughter mother and myself determined it was NOT worth the price - at least for the rest of the academy year (through the end of June). I let the admin Claudia know on March 15th 2017, that even though we had paid through the end of March, my grand daughter would not be back. Claudia indicated that she understood me. We thought the matter was done until my daughter received a bill for over $300.00!!!!!!!!! Their phone mailbox is full, so there is no leaving a message. This place is a joke! I am very disturbed that a business would do this. The left had simply doesn't know what the right hand is doing at this "academy." This business is chaos personified. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!

FDA is far the best! It's beyond amazing technique and discipline to enroll myself to work harder and harder everyday! If you are looking to make a dedication to dance, Forest Dance Academy is definitely right for you!

As a mother of dancer I have to say that Forest Dance Academy has gone over and beyond to teach, love and inspire my daughter! She starter as a small little girl and they took her in and I felt so safe leaving her. As the years went by my daughter wanted to be there all the time and took many more classes and FDA became her best friend! She could not dance enough!! I knew my daughter was in the best of care and had the best instructors around. She went on to perform with the performance company and won many awards! The memories my daughter made there and the friends she spent so much time with are held close to her heart and I am so proud of the dancer that she still is today as an adult! I have a new granddaughter now and I can't wait for her to attend FDA!! As her grandmother I will make sure to see that she has the experience that my daughter did! And I can't wait to see her in first dance recital!! I would recommend this dance studio to anyone near or far!!
