I'm fortunate enough to have a son that loves to dance and joining the Adrenaline All Stars program, has deeply enriched both his life and ours. This is the result of the talent, integrity and commitment of his coaches, and Jen Koonce, the studio owner. We've been with Adrenaline since they opened. We spend many hours each week at the studio, and many weekends cheering on these kids at competitions as a part of this wonderful community of parents, coaches and kids. We do win lots of competitions but even more importantly, we have a blast together, celebrating the achievements of our kids as a result of their motivation, hard work, and perseverance -- all made possible through the collective efforts of our Adrenaline family.

My tween daughter is completing her first year as an Adrenaline all-star dancer. It has been a great experience for us. She had been doing all-star cheer before, enjoyed it, but really wanted to dance hip hip, and her gym did not offer that. We had seen Adrenaline perform at competitions, really enjoyed the choreography and energy, and I persuaded her to tryout last May. She did reluctantly, but fell in love on the first audition. She enjoyed the choreography, the supportive coaches and her fellow dancers. It has been a super positive experience all year long. She has learned a lot, gained skills, and has been pushed to do her best. I love the relationships throughout the program. Coaches, families, and dancers support each other with positive energy. In a highly competitive environment, Adrenaline management and coaches have immense integrity and sportsmanship. They set great examples for the dancers. It is a wonderful environment. You will love it too.

We have been with Adrenaline Dance for 4 years, my daughter started taking classes through the ADF afterschool program at her elementary school and loved it! We have since then had both of our kids take classes at the studio, join the half-year all star team, and currently participate on the full year all star team. The instructors at the studio are top-notch professionals! They are encouraging, positive role models for their students.They have helped both my kids develop in their self confidence and learn the benefits of being on a team sport.The studio has a family friendly atmosphere, continually positive and uplifting. I feel so thankful to know the hours they spend at the studio practicing are helping them become better dancers (athletes) and people. Jen Koonce, the owner is a true leader! She has a positive, creative, genuine energy that makes you feel part of the Adrenaline family when you walk through the door. We couldn't be happier with our experiences both at the studio and at the competitions.

Our Adrenaline Story: When our daughter was 3 years old, we took her to a dance studio ten minutes away from our home. Although she'd timidly sit at a corner of her ballet class watching all the other girls dance, we continued to take her every week until one day, she was invited by one of the coaches to join the studio's All Star team. Since our daughter was only 6 years old at the time, we were initially hesitant with the commitment. But Jennifer Koonce who led the All Star program at the studio patiently answered all of our questions and assured us that our daughter would be fine. After only 9 months of being on All Stars, we were amazed at the significant improvement in our daughter's dance technique, stage presence, and confidence. We stopped taking her to gymnastics and couldn't wait for her to start another year with Jen and her teams. When we learned that Jen was leaving the studio, we knew the program would not be the same without her talent. It was a relief to find out that she was opening her own Adrenaline Studios in Tysons. Though it was half an hour away, there was no doubt in our minds that we would go wherever Jen would be even if it meant a longer commute and work arrangements to make it to practices. From our experience, Jen instills a solid foundation of dance, responsibility, teamwork, sportsmanship, and camaraderie in all her dancers. Through competitions, they go through life lessons that help build character and form lasting friendships with other dancers. Our daughter joined Adrenaline Studio when it opened in 2014 and continues to enjoy dancing and competing on three teams. Our 8 year old son also joined the All Star program and competes on two teams, one of them being an all boy hip hop crew that he absolutely loves. Jen has built a wonderful dance studio like no other. She is THE ONE that makes the studio as great as it is with a cohesive culture that promotes coaches and families to be there for one another. There is no other place our kids would rather be.

We have one all star dancer at adrenaline and our other children are in the adrenaline dance force. We are amazed not only by the dance skills our kids have learned, but the life skills as well. It is a wonderful environment, and we are so grateful for the coaching and friendships at adrenaline. If you have a child that is trying to figure out their “thing”, I recommend you try a year with adrenaline. It’s fantastic!

My 15 year old son has danced with Adrenaline for 8 years now. That's over half his life, so obviously he absolutely LOVES it! I can't say enough about their awesome and caring after- school, studio, and Allstars coaches. My son has learned not only dance skills, but valuable lessons that will make him successful, healthy, and confident throughout life. For example, my son recently decided to improve his tumbling skills. He showed up to Coach Sean's drop-in tumbling class to find a room full of younger girls who could out-tumble him by leaps and bounds. He was the lumbering giant in the room! He looked nervous, but decided to stay. Since he is a teenage boy, I thought for sure he was going to feel embarrassed and never want to go back to that class again. I was soooo dreading pick up, but to my surprise he was just as happy as could be! He enjoyed it and was looking forward to learning how to do a back flip the next week! Coach Sean amazingly made him feel so welcomed, comfortable, and confident that he is motivated to stick with it! He is happily back again this week, and I already see improvement. Adrenaline has made such a positive impact on our lives, in so many ways.

My girls had a wonderful time at their one-week Princess Camp. One of my girls is easily bored and she actually loved it more than the other one. The instructors are energetic and keep the kids moving. I would highly recommend.

These guys are great, our daughter joined them with no experience but a love of dance and they have been brilliant. We love them so much, this is not your grandmothers dance studio!!!
