We had our first lesson last night and it was GREAT !! We were greeted by Amanda and given a quick tour before meeting our instructor, Angel. The studio is very clean and with little round tables off to the side of the large dance floor it makes the space warm, inviting and resembles what I would envision for an old fashion speak easy or dance club (minus a stage for the band and a bar, lol) Both Amanda and Angel were genuinely happy/friendly, enthusiastic and polite. Angel was a doll to work with. So much energy and she made us feel comfortable. Her teaching style was great too. She kept things at our pace and experience level while explaining how the different steps fit into the different dance styles as well as what to expect for our next lesson.

I can’t say enough great things about Doug! In September 2015, my husband and I decided to break out of our comfort zone and seek out some professional help on the choreography for our wedding dance. We had no idea what to expect and I was a little more than apprehensive due to the fact that we had zero training in dance and our wedding date was quickly approaching. Doug seemed so enthusiastic about working with us and quickly took our music choice and choreographed a fun and simple to learn dance completely unique to us. Our performance at the wedding was a hit with our family and friends! After the wedding, I decided to continue working with Doug to explore ballroom dancing on a competitive level. We worked towards and participated in one competition and began preparing for a second before my relocation out of the state. He is very talented, professional, and an excellent teacher. Whether you are an experienced dancer or you would just like to try something new, definitely consider taking a lesson with Doug!
