Denise Baker School of Dance is such a great place to grow up dancing. I personally have been dancing with the dance school since I was 2 years old and it has now been 19 years later and I am still a part of this incredible place! The main goal this studio has is to always have fun while dancing! We learn so much and it is so great to still have fun while learning everything we have. Everyone is so accepting and I really see the dance studio as a second home. I always saw dance as a way to escape real life for a little while. Denise Baker School of Dance is by far my favorite place to go to. The teachers are amazing, the recitals are always amazing with different themes every year, and there is always something to look forward to at dance class every week.

We were lucky to get Denise Baker to choreograph an original musical for us, which we performed recently at Proctors Theater and filmed for public television. She created beautiful dances in several different styles including English country, a ballet, a waltz, and a romantic duet. Denise even choreographed the ensemble's gestures for their big songs! Such remarkable attention to detail, right down to the dancer's smiles. She has such a passion for this beautiful art form of dance, and she taught our cast with great patience and kindness in a short period of time. Her daughter Kyle also choreographed a frantic rescue scene for us. Both of these lovely ladies come highly recommended!!!

My daughter joined Denise Baker School of Dance two years ago. We were looking for a studio where she would have the opportunity to grow in confidence and ability in an encouraging, non-competitive atmosphere. We found that in this studio! The instructors are truly dedicated and passionate about what they are teaching. Denise and Kyle bring a high level of experience and professionalism. My daughter has learned to push herself in a positive way while having fun with the great friends she has made here. The studio has become her second home. She has the chance to grow as a dancer and share her love of dance by assisting in younger classes. There are so many great opportunities here! We can't imagine being anywhere else!!

The Baker School of Dance prepares the students with a strong background in tap, jazz and ballet technique while offering hip hop, contemporary, performance group and more. The atmosphere at the school is professional; rooted in kindness and class. The teachers are highly trained with years of experience. We found the school through a friend and we are so happy that our family has been part of the Baker School of Dance family and its inclusive and nurturing environment for the last decade.

Denise is a wonderful instructor. We feel super ready to dance for our wedding day! She truly takes the time to make sure everything fits perfectly and that it wasn’t impossible for first time dancers to sway with the song. So happy to feel comfortable and elegant through our dance together!
