REVIEWS OF Trilogy Dance Center IN Texas

Caring staff, nurturing dance and family environment. Both of our children are dancing at this studio finishing up our second year. From the moment we walked in we were welcomed and appreciated. The fact that every staff member knows the name of just about every child is pretty amazing. If you are looking for a place to make your permanent dance home in San Antonio this is the place. They just opened a new studio in the Alamo Heights area, stop in.

We have been part of the Trilogy family of dancers for 2 years now and absolutely impressed with the dedication of the teachers and growth of the students within the Dance culture created there,

Thoughtful owner & staff who are passionate about their jobs.

Rhonda is unable to communicate with anyone. She is very rude and doesn’t want to help your child improve.

The school is home to the Insight competition dance team, great school for kids that want to be serious about dance. The studio also offers recreational classes for all ages, even adults.

Nope. 1.) paid for the trial (which other studios offered for free so there’s that) but I thought, hey, it’s last minute (easily accessible on FB which is great...2.) no viewing windows which is a bummer for my son and I wanting to google eye over our little ballerina...3.) multiple times (while I peeped through the glass on the door) my daughter had her hands over her ears cause the music was super loud and bass driven...I know she’s not a regular but common, she asked multiple times...and she’s 5. 4.) towards the end when they turned the lights off and strobe lights went on, my girl started crying and my son (who was standing on a bench across the hall to look) told me she was crouched down under the ballet bars. Middle of the room. When the door finally opened my daughter ran out to me crying hysterically and said the teacher wouldn’t let her come out to me (uh....) and the teacher didn’t even care where she ended up after leaving the room. Glad I was standing there waiting! And we walked out after consoling her without any words from any instructors. I’ve never posted a nasty review, and this might be exactly what you are looking for, but it definitely wasn’t for ya. And I drove 37 minutes and paid $20. Yikes.

I'd like to recall this place as to why I gave up on ever trying to learn dancing formally. The trial class seemed like a good idea, to ween in someone new. The complete bashing of trial students was widespread and included the staff and dancers. It's pretty unbelievable how it was even worse with the adult class over the younger one. Obviously dance is a competitive scene but the complete lack of empathy and blatant rudeness for a beginner simply defeats the entire purpose of "practice". I'm sure this place is lovely if you already know how to keep up immediately after joining, but otherwise steer clear if you want to start from the basics. If you have a child or teen who you want to give up the dream of being a dancer make sure to give them a trial class, that'll knock the idea very far from their mind.
