Very poor experience with the Director. We enrolled our daughter into their hip hop class last month. After the 3rd week, our daughter informed us that her teacher had changed from Ms. Sandra to Ms. Allison. And, that she was now learning moves on numbers like Baby Shark. She is a 7.5 year old girl and she didn't enjoy it as much. We approached the director via email and requested that she be put in Ms. Sandra's class again. To which the Director responded and said that based on our daughter's age group, she will not be able to make the change. Fair enough. We decided to continue as is. Last evening, I was dropping my daughter for the class and asked the lady at the front desk if I could see the teacher Ms. Allison. I was told that she was with the students and so it was not the best time. I understood and said I would possibly see her when I return to pick up my child. When I reached back, I asked the front desk again if I could meet the teacher now and she said that the teacher had left the building. My daughter then pointed to a lady who looked like a teenager saying this was her teacher. I went ahead and introduced myself to Ms. Allison, who by the way was very courteous. I started asking her how my daughter was doing in the class. 1 min into it, the Director came marching into our conversation ordering me to speak with her in her office. I followed her. In her office, she told me that I did not have the rights to speak with the teacher and that was her rule. Furthermore, she told me that she would call the cops on me if I questioned anything. She showed me the door. It was a horrendous 10 minutes. My objective was to check on my daughter's performance and coach her at home to ensure she has a good experience with her lessons. But the Director's attitude was very bad. Why don't they want you to talk to the teachers? Do they have something to hide? If the teacher was changed, isn't the best thing to admit the change or are we employing bait and switch techniques?
