When we left our former studio, I was looking for something a little different here in North Dallas; something more intimate like family, with flexibility for my multi-talented daughter, without sacrificing a high level of technique and instruction. We found exactly that at TDM. The Fusion Performance Company has helped her grow as a dancer immensely, while allowing us to give back to our community as well as several other world-wide organizations. To be able to use her talents and voice to help others while living her passion through dance is the perfect combination for our family. Plus, Ms. Lori and the staff are so helpful and present, which is not always the case at dance studios-- we highly recommend TDM.

I am not happy with this place. My daughter took dance classes from this place last year. The teacher was ok, but nothing above average. The management was horrible. For the days the teacher was off, they just let the children do whatever they want in the classroom. They cancel the class if for some reason the number of students drops without refunding the registration fee.

We have been taking lessons at the Dance Movement for 5 years, since my eldest daughter was 3 and in the Mommy and Me Class. We absolutely love all the staff, the choice of classes offered and the summer camps. My girls have had such a positive experience being part of this dance school. It has built their confidence, improved their flexibility and skills, and they have made wonderful friends. The recitals are very well done and the special events, such as the Nutcracker Tea, are a joy to attend. I highly recommend the Dance Movement.

We have been at the Dance Movement since Brooke was 5. She started at 2 and we moved from place to place till we found this place. Christian based loving dance studio. They have amazing training and it gets better each year! She is entering her 4 year as an Impact dancer. She has flourished here and we can't wait to see what the years to come have in store! We are totally invested in the studio, owner Lori, director Heather, and all the staff! We love all the parents and girls as well!!! Blessed to be here.

We've been at The Dance Movement for over 4 years with both our son and daughter and absolutely love it. The teachers are caring, passionate, creative, and extremely talented. The environment is warm and inviting, and for my daughter I love and appreciate that the owner, Lori Boldt, stands by her belief that little girls should dance and dress like little girls, with modesty, and still beautiful! My son has had an outstanding experience and fantastic dance training and competes with the competition tap team as well as a proud member of Fusion Perfomance Company, which is an amazing performance, leadership, and service oriented company of The Dance Movement, lead by the incredibly talented Marquita DeJesus. There are many ways to get involved in the studio with classes, companies, and amazing summer camps and workshops, and grow as both dancers and people. I am even currently taking an adult tap class this summer and loving it!! So happy to call TDM our dance home and dance family.

My 3 years old daughter has no dancing experience, but she loves dancing, and always danceS with TV programs at home. On her first class, she did such a surprising good job at following and listening instructions at the first 30 minutes, but started to lose attention at the end of 15 minutes, which is quite normal for a 3 years old. The teacher gave her a time out, and asked me to go in to help, which was a bad idea. Because by that time, my daughter already lost her confidence and patience, with me being there is worse. So first class ended really bad. Now she hates dancing. It was a very bad experience. 0 stars if it's possible. All other reviews with 5 stars are probably fake.

Our family has been with TDM studio for about 9 years. My husband and I love how the instructors nurture our 4 girls in technique and character. They inspire our children to be amazing artists and challenge them as they compete on their dance teams. Our daughters are always excited about coming to the studio to dance and build relationships. We highly recommend dancing with TDM!

My daughter has been taking classes at TDM for the last 3 years and we absolutely love everything about it. This studio has it all: experienced, caring, talented teachers/choreographers, Christian values, beautiful facilities, and family oriented atmosphere. Our daughter started out liking dance but now that she's been at TDM she LOVES dance. She would be there everyday if we would let her=)

The instruction, the atmosphere, the cleanliness, the love each teacher has shown my daughter... 1st class! No judgments & no suggestions, just my personal experience....certainly not a place for everyone. At this institute my daughter’s self confidence & self esteem was put to a test. Though they later apologized but apologizing later doesn’t help. I hope no kid goes through the same again.

My daughter started going to The Dance Movement when she was 2 1/2. She loved the mommy and me class, then moved to ballet class, and now is in a combination ballet/tap. I have been beyond impressed with the level of instructions, handouts, and terminology that goes with dance that is age appropriate. It is the perfect mix of learning and fun. She always enjoys going to dance class and we look forward to many more recitals :) Also, the staff is patient, kind, friendly and outgoing - it provides a family oriented atmosphere that makes it easy to bring siblings that are not enrolled in the classes :) we love it!
