If I could give stars to the instructors alone I would. CrystalP is amazing at what she does, we love her. However, the studio manager or owner, Dominique, is an unprofessional and unfriendly individual. He called to get my feedback after I requested to speak with him and he was condescending and rude via phone. He told me 'sorry your interpretation was incorrect' but 'private' does not mean your own room. The entire time we spoke he told me that I was incorrect on what I experienced, how can you tell someone their experience was incorrect? BEWARE: they advertise private lessons and then have multiple couples in the room with you during that lesson, you have your own instructor but you have to wait in the rotation for your music to be played. So a 45 minute lesson becomes much shorter. No where on their materials does it specify this nor do they explain it to you when you go to sign up. We chose Arthur Murray out of 3 different studios and had it not been for Dominique's attitude and crude behavior we would have given it 5 stars while noting the false advertisement on what he see's as 'private lesson.' Learn some customer service skills Dominique. Couples looking to get lessons, find somewhere else. I will never recommend this studio

I trained with Dominick and his crew for about two years. Two wonderful years. I would highly recommend them to anyone with an interest in learning dance. For me,a lifetime of fun dancing due to the training I received there. I would not trade that time for anything, developing confidence through there training, the comrade with fellow students and instructors. Time well spent, and I thank Dominick and the instructors!

Great dance studio!! We have good times learning various dance steps and enjoy working with open, positive instructors and clients. Arthur Murray instructors are also very attuned to personal restrictions and advise you in ways to overcome those supposed "limitations". I highly recommend this studio.

This studio is fabulous! I love how the huge dance floor can be closed off into smaller rooms for lessons and opened back up for parties. The instructors are of the highest caliber, and you will definitely have fun while learning! I highly recommend Brian and David as excellent instructors. All classes and practice parties are free when you purchase private lessons - a fantastic deal!

Words will never be able to express how INCREDIBLE this place is! Outside of needing one in South Austin, the staff is amazing. The classes are for everyone and there is absolutely no intimidation factor. These things are what you make of them. If you feel like you have to be there, but don't want to be, then you will not enjoy yourself. Got a groupon and got 2 privates and a group class for next to nothing. Went to get a few lessons for our wedding and not even being asked by our AMAZING Instructor, Liz Taylor, we bought 6 more. WAY worth the $$ and the drive from Kyle! Zero pressure to buy, only constant invitations to take advantage of all the group classes that are offered. All ages, both sexes, any creed, this place is the BOMB!! Any negative review that would be written about this place would be by someone that didn't want to be there. My fiance' and I will continue to go back after the wedding to expand our dancing abilities and look forward to our time with Liz. A big shout out to Nick. He is amazing as well. They have all been accommodating, welcoming and very helpful. There is not enough time to say all the wonderful things that I really want to say, except, DO NOT PREJUDGE!!! It's not all about the $!! They genuinely care that they have people that want to learn to dance because that is their passion. And you can feel it through and through!! We love this place!!

I bought a groupon for 2 private lessons and I was promptly hooked. My instructor, Brian, is wonderful and patient. I have always admired dancers and it has always seemed like magic how they can dance and move so gracefully and beautifully. Well, now I am learning the magic!!! I'm still plodding along, but someday I'll be gliding across the floor, too. Honestly, they have never made me feel uncomfortable or awkward for being a girl with no rhythm. Give them a try and I'll see you at one of the fun dance parties they throw every week.

Super fun, highly recommend! I was getting married and then it hit me, I didn't know how to dance! Brian was our instructor, he choreographed a dance perfectly tailored for me and my bride to be. As a beginner it needed to be simple yet elegant so that we could execute it on our special day. Brian was always positive and made our lessons fun and exciting, we weren't intimidated at all. The experience at the dance studio exceeded our expectations and made our wedding day much more fun since we weren't sweating our dancing skills!

I originally found this studio on Groupon for 2 private lessons. We thought that would be it but we ended up having so much fun between the 2 private lessons, dance party, and group class we bought 6 more private lessons! Dominic is an awesome instructor and I highly recommend this studio :)

My fiancee and I worked with Binh, who was amazing! He was patient, funny, and encouraging, even during our late 9pm lessons. There was no pressure to purchase additional lessons after we used a groupon to get started. I am glad we did purchase additional lessons, though. In 4 additional lessons Binh helped us develop a specific choreography to be used on wedding day. When the big day came around we were confident and prepared, and our guests were stunned at how good we looked on the dance floor! The lessons will get you far, but don't forget to practice as well!!

So Accomodating and Helpful! My mom and I wanted to do a fun swing dance for our mother-son dance at my wedding, but waited a bit too long to really choreograph something. The owner was so nice and patient with us. He helped us pick out the perfect song, and some great moves to make it a fun, stress free experience. And... we were a hit! I would recommend Arthur Murray to anyone looking for dance lessons, at any skill level.
