I don't think they said hello to us once the whole year at RS, but they did take our money. Not friendly.

The pros and cons... Pros- My daughters loved their teachers. The classes were educational and they learned a lot about dance. There is lots of parking and the location is easy to get in and out of with good access to the main road. The staff was friendly and informative when we spoke to them about registration. They offered us a free trial class. They have a good variety of classes to choose from. They are right next to Karate so if you have kids that would want to take classes there it would be convenient. The cons- I have to agree with the other reviewer that we were never greeted when we brought our kids to dance. Once we signed up they pretty much just ignored us. The staff seemed clickish in that they were often out gossiping with their friends in the waiting area but never would greet parents coming or going. We were given two choices to vote on for recital dates, Father's Day which is also Sunday - Sunday's in general are not an option for our family - and the other choice of a Thursday. The waiting area is nice. There are TV screens so parents can watch the classes but there are so many people packed into this area in the evenings that you can't even walk down the hallway to get your kids to their class - more or less get out of the building if there were an emergency. It's a very small, crazy, loud area with people and kids running everywhere when classes begin and end. Sometimes finding a seat in the waiting area is hard so come early. We picked classes that worked for us at registration time with preference for both girls to take their classes around the same time and only one month later one of the teachers said the class time was moving to an earlier time which messed up our schedule. It meant we would have to be there for 2 hours one night a week with a three year old that would have to be just sitting and waiting for an hour and a half. We told the teacher at the time that would not work for us and emailed requesting that our girls be dropped from those classes at the beginning of the month, however, we were still charged for the classes anyway even though we never attended them. Overall, we were left with the opinion that the service they offer is good with room for improvement and we didn't feel like they really cared about us as customers.

Wow!!! Rock Star Dance Academy is amazing!!! The staff is wonderful and caring and Lacy Chandler's passion for dance and development is priceless. This is a wonderful studio for all levels of dance!!!

Parents did not act respectfully at Nationals 2018 in Pigeon Forge Tennessee. Yelling the top of there lungs. 1 mom even said “COME ON BEAT EVERYONE ELSE AND BURN IN DOWN!” Dance is suppose to have support for all the studios. They didn’t do a good job at sportsmanship.

Rockstar has been great for teaching my daughter responsibility. Watching her hard work come together at recital was priceless as I saw how proud of herself she was. The staff is great with the kids and you can tell they actually care about them.
