Both of our daughters have taken classes here. This studio is better organized than others in the area, which is a big plus. Being able to watch the kids on a monitor during class is also nice. Minus 1-star because of the never-ending focus on recitals, but that seems to be the story at all these dance studios.

My daughter has been attending BDC for 7 years (since 2009) and has received exceptional instruction. They have taught her poise, confidence and a love for dance. In reference to the negative review, there are extra fees at every studio you go to. Yes, there is a charge to receive a ticket to the recitals & programs and even for the costume to perform in. The recital tickets range in price from $8 to $12, not $20 like stated. These instructors take time to teach our children & you get out what you put in. I recommend Backstage Dance Company.

It is a good place to have your children here and your family

Secret !

They try to nickel and dime you for every little thing; they charge extra for a "program" at their dance recital. The same recital you pay $20 a ticket to see at some crappy old high-school, and spend $80 more on a cheap costume that falls apart before they get on stage. They don't care about teaching your kid to dance, just want to make as much money off you as possible. There's much better studios in the area, look elsewhere.
