Our daughter, Rhiannon, began at age 3 in the inaugural class of 2015 and continued the following year. The stellar faculty provided goals, compassion, and confidence to not only perform on stage, but character development as well. The stimulating combination of dance, art, Music Fun Time, foreign language, and classroom curriculum created an environment that allowed our daughter to immensely flourish—she began Kindergarten exceeding expectations! We are so thankful and blessed to still be a part of the AFS family, as it was an easy choice to continue weekly lessons. Rhiannon developed such a true love for music and dance by receiving the most exemplary training available for early childhood development; this concept has a major impact in the elementary educational system. Always a wonderful experience at Angela Floyd Schools. The staff is VERY patient and willing to answer questions...even if it is the same thing more than once. The teachers are very dedicated to helping the kids strive for success and reach their goals. AFS also praises the kids for their successes outside of the studio! My experience has been excellent. Lessons are always right on time. They have been extremely accommodating and pleasant when I have had to move our lesson time due to schedule conflicts when soccer season started. Our teacher is very knowledgeable, professional, pleasant, and always provides the enthusiasm my child needs to keep her focused and interested. Everyone on staff is well dressed and presents themselves in a professional manner. The facilities and equipment are all well kept. This organization is top notch.

Look no further for a great dance and music school! We have been so pleased with our experience at Angela Floyd Schools! This is our fourth year at this studio, third year on one of their competition teams, and our first year joining the music school. Our very first experience was a summer camp at the studio. It was a week long program and our daughter had the best time! Everyone was so friendly and we knew this was the place for us! The staff is organized and efficient in handling the day to day business of the studio. We have been so impressed with the teachers. They are qualified and come from dance backgrounds. They are very genuine and care for the child’s dance education. From day one, they have taught proper dance vocabulary for the dance movements. While the teachers bring a fun approach to teaching they also are serious in teaching proper technique. Our daughter started piano this year and we have been so pleased with her progress. The one-on-one experience with her teacher has been priceless. The teacher is so engaging and each week brings a contagious excitement under which our daughter has thrived. So, if you are looking for a studio to call home, look no further. You will not be disappointed.

This was our first year with AFDS and it was amazing. The dance instructors and the entire AFDS staff are awesome. We were excited to see our daughter on the monitors and how well she adapted with other kids her age. My daughter loves Miss Rose. She can not wait to go back!! I'm always impressed by Ms Katherine's ability to handle so many little kids at once and my daughter LOVES being in her class. She was so upset that she wouldn't be able to take her next level ballet class with her. The spring performance was a blast. I brought 10 family members. I think they were initially dreading having to sit through a kids ballet performance, but they all ended up really enjoying the experience. Even the 8 year old boy had a good time! The front desk has also been very nice every time I have had to deal with them (getting extra tights, asking questions about hair and make-up, rehearsal times, etc.)
