I took my daughter to a class to see if she would like Irish dance, that was 7 years ago this month! Needless to say she loves it! She's had some wonderful caring teachers and has made some great friends. The teachers are there for the kids at every competition for support, making sure that at least one of them are in the room to watch them dance. That means they are away from their families. For the parents, they are a great support for each other through the stress of a feis (Irish dance competition) and the celebration after! If you (or your dancer) forgot something, don't worry someone has what you need. I highly recommend The Connick School for your child. Give them a call to try a class, you can be marching with us at the St. Patrick' Day parade in March!

I started dancing with the school when I was just out of college. Later I got my husband on board to take adult classes and since then two of my children. It's been a great experience for my boy and girl alike, learning that hard work and perseverance pays off to reach their goals.

I have enjoyed getting to know our dance family and watching my girls blossom into wonderful dancers and confident young ladies posssesing life and social skills fostered by our wonderful staff of teachers. Dancing at the Connick School has been a tremendous experience for our daughter. She loves Irish Dance, and the teachers here have enabled her to grow and progress in doing what she loves. All of the teachers have been terrific, all through her progression through the dance levels. Our daughter has been able to learn solo dances, team dances, as well as being able to be part of a "family" of dancers. It is a good growing environment, you get to practice being with people you love, people you like, people you aren't sure about, but all working towards a common goal. If you love Irish dance and want your child to have a chance to excel in it, Connick School is a great place.

With a focus on traditional irish dance techniques and the social - emotional development of every student. Fantastic teachers and support from the community.

Irish Dancing at Connick School is by far the best activity my daughter has ever been a part of. The skill is unique, the instructors are excellent, and the participating families are inclusive and helpful. I would urge anyone looking for a truly fun and challenging experience to give the Connick School a try.

My children have been dancing with The Connick School for almost three years and we couldn’t be happier. We relocated from NJ and we have been thrilled with the progress our children have made dancing with this school. We were welcomed by all of the dancer families with open arms.
