We have been apart of Carolina Dance Conservatory for over 3 years and have enjoyed seeing the students and this amazing studio grow. CDC's founder and director, Amy DeShong, takes the dancers learning and development of ballet seriously, but also doesn't forget to incentivize their hard work with rewards and fun. All of the instructors are amazing cultivators of this beautiful art form and my child has been table to grow in her character and grace because of the wonderful staff at Carolina Dance Conservatory.

My girls have been studying classical ballet under Amy Deshong at CDC for 9 years. She is a wonderful mentor and is a great inspiration to my girls. Besides learning beautiful technique, my girls have learned invaluable lessons that will affect their character for the rest of their lives. Carolina Dance Conservatory is a wonderful dance studio. Students learn proper terminology and classical techniques starting at a young age with each year building upon the prior. Teachers push their dancers hard but have compassion and concern for all their students which is evident in their demeanor. If you are wanting to learn AND develop a passion for dance and self-confidence then THIS is the studio for you! We have been here 4 years and are excited for our upcoming 5th year

We love Carolina Dance Conservatory. My daughter is four years old and absolutely loves her teachers and ballet. The instructors are able to teach the children ballet on their level and mange to keep it fun. Each week my child is able to show me what she has learned. We love the director Ms. Amy. She has a true passion for ballet and for her students. She takes pride in her dance school and celebrates with her dancers. I look forward to many years Carolina Dance Conservatory.

We are finishing up our first year with Carolina Dance Conservatory. My daughter came in with experience from another studio where we used to live and we wanted another studio with similar values. CDC values the beauty, elegance, and technique of classical ballet. We found what we were looking for AND MORE! We love the smaller class sizes and careful attention to detail. My daughter has learned so much this year and I am absolutely impressed with the staff. Ms. Amy owns the studio and passionately pours her time and attention into making these girls the best ballerinas they can possibly be. The other teachers are amazing as well!! My daughter is now dancing everywhere we go! I feel very fortunate to have found Carolina Dance Studio and I am so excited to see my daughter’s progress in the upcoming years! **As an added bonus, we were able to have our recital at Furman University this year, which was an amazing venue. What a fantastic dance studio! The level of technique being taught is the best in the area.
