My son and I began to take lessons together in August 2013. We love it! Under Alyssa's coaching we have advanced quickly to Bronze level lessons. My son has become much more comfortable socially with strangers. Alyssa adjusts her agenda to what we'd like to learn and what is appropriate for our relationship. She is sparkly and sweet and encouraging! We love our time at Fred Astaire!

What they are offering is essentially an escort service. They are not interested in teaching and barely know how to do it. If you need companion and physical contact, that's the place to be. But if you'd really like to learn something in dancing, go somewhere else.

I have been dancing at the Fred Astaire Dance Studio for over 1.5 years now and I do not want to miss a day of it. All of the teachers are highly professional and just amazing. They build a unique relationship with everyone of their students. Whether you are just trying to learn some social dancing or whether you would like to make this a serious hobby and compete, the teachers at Fred Astaire Dance Studio know just the right way to improve your dancing and make dancing a fun activity. The students are a good mix of all adult age groups and backgrounds but most and for all they are a very fun crowd to hang out with. They are very open and welcoming to new students. Teachers as well as students have changed my life significantly ... but come and see for yourself!
