Our daughter is in her second full year of training at Artistic Edge and we love it as much as she does. She started in Miss Ashley's combo class, then after spending the summer in the two week camps, she progressed up to the Beginner Ballet classes. She is LOVING Madison's ballet class, and she tells everyone she wants to be a ballerina when she grows up. The training and instruction our daughter has received at Artistic Edge have also benefited her on the competitive gymnastics team she is on. She is much more advanced in her splits, balance, and body coordination than the other girls on her gymnastics team, and we know it is the training she has received at Artistic Edge. Also, as a parent, I always feel welcome and appreciated. The best dance studio in Greenville, if you want authentic, caring instructors and a welcome atmosphere.

Great new facility on Orchard Park Dr. Fantastic and dedicated teachers. Emphasis on fun, teamwork, and respect. Excited about expansion of the Dance Company and increased offering of classes for Adults. A true dance “family.”

Artistic Edge Dance Center is a wonderful studio! Meeting Melanie and her staff a few years back has changed my career for the better. Going to the studio without knowing anyone the staff, parents, and dancers welcomed me with open arms. Through the staff's professional experience and training it is evident that each instructor is passionate about dance and portray patience and kindness to every student in order for him/her to achieve new heights. After moving to New York and partaking in dance programs Melanie Benson is still talked about among dancers and choreographers! AEDC is more than a studio. It is a home, a family that goes above and beyond for their dancers.

I have been visiting several area studios in Greenville, SC, due to the fact I am relocating to the area. The owner was very rude, and did not want to take time to explain her program to me or my child. My child left Artistic Edge Dance Center feeling very unimportant. I DO NOT recommend this studio to anyone. Dancers beware.

My three year old daughter just completed her first year of dance at Artistic Edge with Melanie Benson. I cannot say enough nice things about Ms. Melanie and her dancing abilities as well as the way she handles and treats the children. She takes time before and after each dance class to socialize with the children giving them hugs and words of encouragement. When classes first began, I have personally watched her dance with a child on each hip until the children were more comfortable in class. Melanie speaks to the children in a kind voice and always has a smile on her face; however don't let that fool you, she can take a room full of two year olds and make them do whatever she wants them to do. I would recommend this studio to new and seasoned dancers as well!

My daughter has been dancing at AEDC for only one year and I can't say enough great and wonderful things about this studio. Miss Melanie has a genuine passion for the kids and their dance educations. My daughter looks forward to her class every week. I recommend this studio to everyone and am looking forward to continuing my daughter's dance career here.

I was so saddened to see the previous review that I wanted to provide another perspective. I hate this person had such a poor experience and have to wonder if they didn't visit another dance studio in the area with a very similar name. My daughter has taken dance with Melanie (Owner and Creative Director) since she opened her doors and we actually drive from a neighboring town just to attend AEDC. Melanie has a genuine love for dance, her students and their personal growth and development. She focuses on the person first and knows the dancer will develop! She also manages her business in the most professional manner. If you are looking for a dance studio in the Greenville area, I feel you would be hard pressed to find one better.
