My daughter started dancing at Providence Ballet 6 years ago. It has instilled in her a life-long passion for dance. This studio is second to none. Unlike other ballet studios where only the more "promising" students receive the bulk of attention/corrections, the instructors focus on each student's individual needs and ensure everyone gets the outstanding instruction they deserve. The rates are very competitive and they even offer "walk-in" classes at reasonable rates. Students can avail themselves of many types of dance, from modern to jazz to tap and more. The adult classes are very fun too! Classes are offered in two locations. My daughter danced here about 20 hours per week, but the great thing for me was that when she topped a certain number of classes, she could dance as much as she wanted for no extra fee! The instructors focus on true technique and building strength, thereby reducing the risk of injury to the dancer. My daughter also participated in the summer intensive program with Eva Marie Pacheco. It was outstanding! Even though we have moved to Idaho, I will be sending her to the Providence Ballet Summer Intensive again this year. That's how good this program is! I can't say enough about this studio and its fabulous shows and productions. If you are considering other studios, do yourself a favor and be sure to try out a class here first!!!

My daughter is enjoying her second year at Providence Ballet (South), in East Greenwich. This is a wonderful school that provides a REAL ballet experience. It is sooo exciting to watch her as she develops. Mr. Michael is exceptional teacher who is devoted to the art of dance. I highly recommend this dance school!

I was looking to enroll my daughter...i have been calling for over a week and no answer ever ever!really disapointed, it was a convenient location and website looked very professional.
