My daughter has been attending The Metropolitan Ballet Academy since the ripe old age of 4 and the love and zest that she has for MET has never changed. 8 years later, we are still going strong, thriving, growing and learning. Aside from the exceptional training by exceptional teachers, there is a feeling of family. The teachers meet each student with love and respect and expect nothing but the best from each student; their best. Each teacher brings something different to class and knows how to pull out the students talents. Whether your child is dancing as a hobby or wants to dance professionally, each child is given the same instruction. Lisa Collins Vidnovic, the founder of Metropolitan has over the past 21 years given her all to the children at MET. She is caring and supportive and offers top notch training to everyone. Aside from the training, community outreach is another factor of Metropolitan Ballet Academy. The children in the company have many opportunities to do outreach in the community, from cleaning Penny Pack Park, to dancing for the residents of Rydal Park and putting on a full production for inner city school children who may not have ever seen a full ballet. My daughter has hopes and dreams of dancing professionally and MET provides the care and training that will get her there. Met sets the bar high and the kids meet the challenge. The kids as a result of attending Met are smart, resilient, caring, confident, poised and hard workers. They know how to push through and not give up. Thank you Miss Collins and all the teachers. Your care and teaching of my daughter does not go unnoticed!
