My four year old daughter absolutely loves her dance classes here and looks forward to them every week! The teacher, miss Christi is very understanding and accommodating in regards to make up classes and switching her classes . She genuinely loves what she does does and you can really tell! It's very affordable I land really encourages her love for dance and is improving her motor skills and coordination ! Can't recommend merge enough!

Merge is our first “formal” dance class experience for our 4 year old daughter. She loves it! The teachers are friendly, great with our daughter and very good at providing feedback as well. We look forward to our Monday afternoons at Merge. Street parking. Close to pretzel park for adventures with the little one during class and close enough to forbidden drive/Wissahickon/Kelly drive for a pre-class run!

My daughter is very shy and wasn't participating in the class. My husband and I tried to go in and encourage her. Unfortunately, the owner sent us an email informing us we were no longer welcome because we were distracting the class. I do not appreciate her approach to teaching. She offered a credit for future class, but we will not be returning. It was a shame, because my daughter did have friends in the class, but she is very shy and takes time to warm up to people.

My son has been a student of Ms. Christa's for the past 3 years. He has become a wonderful dancer. Ms. Christa has been very patient and very supportive. My son has learned stamina and graceful movement. He enjoys the classes and the environment. We all appreciate having Merge in our neighborhood as it gives people of all ages an opportunity to experience dance and creative movement. The studio and Ms. Christa are very active with neighboor events and creating unique and fun things ie...Thriller dancing at Halloween, flash mob dances, etc.. The studio is a great presence for all of us in the neighborhood! We are very happy that our son is a part of it!

This is a great studio with friendly staff, offering reasonably priced classes for, but not limited to: ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, Zumba, and more. Fitness classes, like BARREfusion, are amazing fun and just as amazing workouts. I will be taking more classes in the future. Street parking, but very easy to find a space. If not, there a few lots close within walking distance. Worth a look for anyone looking to put on those dancing shoes.
