I have only been dancing at Longs since January and with the patience of the teachers I’ve been able to accomplish so much in this little time. I have been on stage and competed at an Irish dance competition. They treat you like family and go above and beyond when you need help. I’ve already registered for the fall classes!

We have been with our Dancing Family for going on 9 years and we have loved our experience! We have had wonderful instructors in all of the subjects we have danced. Miss Karen has been more than amazing in with our experience, shes more than just an instructor, shes a mentor and a friend; so loving and inspirational. I couldnt be happier!! We love our dancing FAMILY!

My daughter attended Longs last year it was her first year in dance. We were happy to get her signed up for a ballet only class because she really wasn’t interested in the combo classes. She adores her teacher Ms. Jess and as someone who has dance experience I was extremely impressed with the quality of instruction she was receiving. Ms. Jess teaches to every students individual level and she actually teaches the fundamentals of ballet from the beginning. These girls are learning a strong, solid foundation of dance, not just running around and dancing “free style”. The staff is wonderful when I have questions and always polite and helpful anytime I reach out to them. Being able to set up my payments on a recurring monthly basis makes paying tuition a snap, no check to write, no having to remember to mail in a payment, etc. Overall, we have been extremely delighted with Longs and I would recommend them to anyone!

My daughter has been so blessed to be part of the Long's dance family for 8 years! My youngest will start year one this fall! I would refer any tiny dancer or adult beginner to Longs! It really does not get any better. The instructors are truly in love and passionate about the art of dance and their students!! Miss Tiffany a Miss Janelle are kind and patient. They have molded our little lady into a real dancing queen! This year our ballerina moves up and will start lessons with Mrs. Long and we are so excited! Thank you so very much for everything you all do!

Nose bleed stuck up environment. Over priced monthly fees and registration fees. They don’t let you get a copy of the recital you worked all year long for. So no memories

We love Long's School of Dance, which is actually more of a family than a dance school! My daughter Charlotte is starting her fourth year of Irish Dance, and 6th year as a Long's Dancer. Her Irish instructor, Karen Weibel, is like Mary Poppins - practically perfect in every way. She has given Charlotte confidence and skill to be an award winner at regional and national Feis (competitions). The World Irish Dance Association schools in the United States have come to know Long's dancers as well trained, but more important, kind and supportive competitors. I cannot say enough praise for this school.

My daughter has been dancing through Long's for 6 years, and counting, beginning at age 3. Honestly, she has learned so much more than dance. She has learned confidence, poise, grace, healthy competition (through Irish dance), respect, and family outside of home. We accredit this predominantly to the marvelous Miss Karen Weibel. We currently enroll in tap, ballet, acrobatics and Irish, though were it up to my daughter, she would move right into the studio.

Prior to my first class, I expressed my thinking that my inexperience would set me back, but I was reassured that it didn’t matter how old I was—I could thrive and flourish just like other students my age. From day one, I have always been encouraged. As a dancer who started later on, I would HIGHLY recommend Long’s. Faculty will never let you feel lesser than more experienced individuals and will only encourage you to push yourself farther. Long’s School of Dance has become my second home and has changed my life. I am proud to say that I am a part of the Long’s family and would never, ever have it any other way!

Long's has become a second way of life for us. For the last 10 years we have spent every Saturday and a couple of weeknights dedicated to dancing. Long's offers a variety of classes (ballet, tap, acro, hiphop, contemporary, jazz, irish, aerial, and more), extends offers of excel classes, provides opportunity for competition and travel, and has lots of opportunities to participate in fun activities outside of classes. The "big show" is a lot of fun and the children feel like stars on the stage! Dancing has helped in building confidence and coordination among other things. Happy to be at Long's.

I originally got introduced to dance through my friends that went here, I sat in for about 2 classes and I liked it, so my parents decided to enroll me in it, and it was not a good choice, I had signed up for hiphop and we did about 2 weeks worth of hiphop, then they combined it with an acro class, so I was in a class I wasn't paying for, and I WAS NOT LEARNING WHAT I PAID FOR. very disappointed. Then when we started choreographing we murged our dance with a different group of dancers, (not even from our studio). Needless to say I ended up switching studios after that.

I have been dancing at Long’s since I was four and I’m not exaggerating when I say the studio has become my second home. I love everyone here and would be lost without them! I have grown so much as a dancer and as a person through my classes and time at Long’s. My favorite part of the dance year is the day that we receive our costumes for the spectacular June dance concert! They come in personalized bags with tights and most of the time some custom work as well!

If you want the best dance education in Erie, PA, Long's School of Dance is the place to go. I am constantly amazed by the level of expertise presented every year at their dance concert (that is constantly compared to a Broadway level show). Not to mention the training I have received over the years. My daughters have been dancing at Longs for 5+ years, not only have they had a quality learning experience but have found themselves a part of a great family. The dance family and experience has kept us coming back year after year for the great teachers, wonderful studio and the feeling of community that you find wether you are a student or a parent there. They have been voted Erie's Choice so many years in a row for a reason, and I would challenge anyone to at the very least give the studio a shot. Enrolling the kids to get active in their communities i.e. the Christmas Show that profits Schriner's and different performance opportunities Ie the Boscov's opening and different festivals, this studio not only helps my children to be quality dancers but also quality people. I know that we will be a part of the Long's Dance Family forever x

Our family has been with Long's for over 10 years now. The "Big Show" at the end of each year is an absolutely amazing performance at the Warner Theater. Several years ago, Long's brought Irish Dance to the studio and opened up even more opportunities. Long's also offers many options for adults...I started with tap, soon added ballet, and then joined my kids in Irish classes. We love being part of the Long's dance family and I would recommend Long's to everyone...of all ages!
