My husband and I took 2 dance lessons with James in preparation for our first dance at our wedding. We're both not great dancers and needed help. We didn't want to look overly choreographed and wanted something that was us and fun. James was incredible and really listened to what we wanted our first dance to be like and helped us make it us. James gave us 2 great dance lessons along with several tips for us to work with. NY Wedding Dance even has a mock wedding dress to practice so I could get the feel for what it would be like on the big day. James even filmed us so we could see what we looked like and practice at home. We thought this was super helpful! We would highly recommend James and NY Wedding Dance!!!

Stine is amazing! My husband and I wanted to do something out of the norm and fun. We did modern dance and had a few lifts in the chorography which really wowed our guests. My husband and I had a bit of dance and athletic background so we understand certain lifts wouldn't be great for everyone to learn or try but Stine's techniques made the learning process fun and as easy as possible. Her professionalism is outstanding. The studio was able to accommodate slight changes in schedule during a few times when we needed it and were always prompt to respond to any inquiries. I cannot stress enough how awesome Stine is with her creativity and powerful choreography. The final outcome was everything we wanted. Our first dance as husband and wife was unique, different and romantic. Would highly recommend this studio and Stine and can't wait to schedule other classes.

NY Wedding Dance is an amazing place to learn a full choreographed dance, just some basic moves, or something in between for your wedding. Since they specialize in wedding dance specifically they really know how to nail this genre and on a limited schedule. Our amazing instructor Malachai made it look like we knew what we were doing on the dance floor—and that is saying something! He helped me and my husband prepare a choreographed but not-too-choreographed-looking first dance that looked fantastic with some awesome twirls and dips but that felt very comfortable and natural. Neither of us had any dance experience at all, and Malachai really helped us learn in ways that were easy to follow and to remember! We felt amazing about our dance at our wedding and we also had a lot of fun at the lessons along the way. Malachai and the other staff here are so warm and caring and it was always a pleasure to come in for our lessons. They're also great about scheduling at convenient times on nights and weekends. Highly recommend!

Andrew was a peach. My wife and I came in both pretty incompetent with dance moves. We laughed, we stumbled, we improved, we had a great time getting to know Andrew, and more importantly he got to know us and exactly how to make us better. We got more bang for our buck too. Andrew helped us through two songs instead of one, and he even accounted for the unique features of my wife's dress. We crushed it at our wedding. Dazzling would be an understatement. Thanks Andrew.

horrible experience. such greedy bunch. all they care about is making money, they try to teach you as little as possible so you can purchase more sessions. instructor leslie is unfriendly and unprofessional. would not recommend them. spend your money elsewhere!
