I went here for about 7 years about my life. I am now dancing with Lincoln center. This ballet school is a tough, strict and sometimes cruel school. But if you love to dance, you will understand Jennifer. She is a very strict teacher who I haven’t seen or heard of in 3 years, since I left. I once had a kidney infection which started out as a stomachache in the middle of class. She didn’t let me sit down, I was crying. I couldn’t call my dad, or anything. I went to the Emergency Room that night, after a Saturday rehearsal. That was when I quit. If you are a sensitive, “Egh dancer”, don’t go here. But if you truly believe in dance, and it being strict, you will understand Ms. Jennifer’s values.

I don’t recommend this ballet school at all. My 6 year old Niece had strep throat and missed one session of rehearsal . Her teacher a lady called Jennifer Groenke proceeded to tell her to never come back or to bother showing up to the show she was rehearsing for. She also called her a clumsy girl. This is a 6 year old girl who loves to dance and now has experienced deep emotional stress after being embarrassed in front of her class and the parents. She now has massive self esteem issues thanks to the cruelty of this woman. Stay away from this awful place.
