I really enjoyed my lessons at Dance Times Square. The space was nice, the instructors professional, and the location ideal for my needs. Somehow, they pulled off a miracle and taught my 2-left-feet husband how to dance. We splurged on the 20-package option in order to perfect our wedding dance. I took a few on my own first since I have a dance background and wanted to learn a few styles first. My husband then joined. This was actually his idea because he didn't want to look bad next to me. He later said that this was his favorite part of the wedding planning process. The day of our wedding our dance went off without a hitch (minus him dropping me on the last dip- guys, scuff brand new shoes). Everyone was so impressed with how he did and 2 years later, they still comment favorably. We learned enough steps to dance on our own at parties as well as an entire routine. I have seen other people take classes at other locations, but I feel like we got the full deal. My younger sister went here for regular dance classes just to learn ballroom, she had a similar amazing experience. For SYTYCD lovers, this studio is owned by former choreographers of the show- Tony Meredith and Melanie Lapatin.

WOW i cant begin to tell you how great Dance Times Square is! located right off of Broadway in the heart of time square the dance studio was very easy to find and extremely accessible from the subway. I took a private lesson here with my friend and our instructor Kathryn was fabulous. She was incredibly helpful, very nice, great personality, and made learning fun and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this place for yourself or even more so as a couple for a date idea because that is what I did. It is slightly priced higher than other dance studios in new york, but I think it is more than worth it.
